When it seemed like everyone around Anthony Fender was reaching a goal or falling in love, he blamed an early midlife crisis for throwing him far outside of his comfort zone. Nashville was a long way from New York and his everyday life that’d lost all color lately.
Hopefully, this vacation would reenergize him, and maybe a cooking class with celebrity chef August King could end Anthony’s reign as the only Italian in Brooklyn who couldn’t boil water. But when he met August and his much younger husband Camden, every plan and all rational thought flew out the window. Their dynamic grabbed hold of Anthony and reeled him in before he even heard the magic word.
I'm often stoically silent or, if the topic interests me, a chronic rambler. In other words, I can discuss writing forever and ever. Fiction, in particular. The love story—while a huge draw and constantly present—is secondary for me, because there's so much more to writing romance fiction than just making two (or more) people fall in love and have hot sex. There's a world to build, characters to develop, interests to create, and a topic or two to research thoroughly. Every book is a challenge for me, an opportunity to learn something new, and a puzzle to piece together. I want my characters to come to life, and the only way I know to do that is to give them substance—passions, history, goals, quirks, and strong opinions—and to let them evolve. Additionally, I want my men and women to be relatable. That means allowing room for everyday problems and, for lack of a better word, flaws. My characters will never be perfect.
Wait…this was supposed to be about me, not my writing.
I'm a writey person who loves to write. Always wanderlusting, twitterpating, kinking, and geeking. There's time for hockey and cupcakes, too. But mostly, I just love to write.
This book restored my faith in humanity. Beautifully written, filled with kindness, acceptance and glorious love. A dynamic of two daddies and a little. The possibilities were endless.
Celebrity chef August King is in an almost perfect relationship with his little boy, Camden Adair. Except he isn't aware that Camden has been conspiring in the background. He realises by introducing a third lover into their relationship, it would meet everyone's needs. And he's found the perfect person online.
Anthony Fender is a musician running a music school with his brother. Being single in his forties wasn't the plan but it's the way life pans out. With a passion for online cooking shows and one in particular, meeting the chef he idolises is mindblowing. Although he doesn't know it's been masterminded by a little brat with the best of intentions.
“I’m so glad you’re here.” I kissed him again, softly, then shifted my attention to August. He was a lot more patient than his boy. Our boy.
“We’re done thinkin’,” he murmured. “You belong with us, Anthony. I’m not sure there was ever an alternative.
We Have Till Monday wasn't a complicated story. It was an opportunity that created one of the most unorthodox yet loving affairs I've read. Can love be big enough to encompass three people equally? In this instance, one big fucking yes. It's a story that requires an open mind as it explores a connection between three men and a love that has no limits. Be prepared for kinky, heartwarming loving with a beautiful ending.
Told in single POV, 1st person, it’s the second installment in the "We Have Till Dawn" series with characters crossover from book 1 but it can be read as a standalone. This story took me out of my comfort zone. The kink wasn’t really for me; two daddies with a little one and still I enjoyed it, even more than book 1. It was good-written, angst-free, there was an age gap between the MCs. They were so sweet, in sync with each other and so perfect for each other. I liked their dynamic and chemistry. All in all, it was a good one and hope you like it as well!
The Characters: - Camden: 28-year old, little, Marvel Fan, Cute AF #BabyBoy - Anthony: 43 years old, Musician, May be a Switch? #INeedSomethingMore - August: 55 years old, Daddy, Chef #Delicious
The Plot: Very relationship-oriented. It's all about these three, 2 men talking care of their baby boy. #WeFoundLove
The Romance: It all happens in a span of 1 week. they make the best of it, from day one. they love, laugh, live and learn. #NoTimeToLose
The HEA: Full of feels and love. They are together and have their the rest of their lives to look forward to. #EyesOnTheFuture
We Have Till Monday introduces a Dd/lb dynamic that is different from the others Cara Dee has written. Camden regresses........a lot. More so than I was comfortable with. So while the regression scenes with him pushed me past my comfort zone, I enjoyed learning about the whole dynamic.
August though. His scenes were awesome.
I would've liked a longer book, to really see how they made it work together on a daily basis, but I enjoyed what I read.
It was great catching up with Nicky and Gideon too.
Just like We Have Till Dawn this one is explosively hot and packed full of all the feels.
Anthony, Nicky's older brother, has been basically cruising through life on half-speed without any great lows but no wonderful highs either when he wins a competition to cook with a famous chef he follows on social media.
But the reader knows that he's not just won a chance to visit Nashville and cook with celebrity chef August King, but that August's much younger partner Camden has been plotting ever since he saw Anthony's feed for the Music Institute he runs with Nicky.
The story evolves in a beautifully organic fashion from the moment Anthony encounters August at the end of his ranch's drive when he comes to get his bearings after driving from New York to Nashville.
It's clear from the off that the sexual chemistry between all three men is off the charts. But there's a complication Anthony hadn't expected.
Camden is a little who regresses through a number of different age points, some including sexual behaviour, others not and Camden knows August gets lonely when he's essentially acting as a single parent when he's regressed into his non-sexual state.
Which is why he chooses Anthony, he believes he could be the missing link in his relationship with August and help stop him feeling alone.
How this is navigated becomes an integral part of the narrative and Cara unfolds the story, which takes place over such a short period time but never manages to stray into "instalove" territory.
Relatively low angst, a thread of humour running throughout and the aforementioned steaming hot sex, makes this a perfect read.

Omg this was so sweet and sexy and hot and I’m dead. 🔥🔥🔥Normally when I read Daddy/little books, I’m mildly entertained by the cuteness and mildly uncomfortable. But this is Cara Dee. Everything she writes is incredibly hot.
I loved the romance between the three men, but especially between August and Anthony. They were so beautiful and sexy together, and Camden was the perfect naughty and adorable addition. I don’t read a lot of MMM but here it was beautiful and convincing, even with Camden and August being a couple first. It was obvious that Anthony was exactly what was missing from their lives.
If you remember Nick's brother from We Have Till Dawn, Anthony, this is his story. 🔥🔥🔥
I was pleasantly surprised by this one, it had a insta-love kind of vibe but it was well developed, it didn't bother me much. The dynamics and the kink were really well thought, Camden and August needed a third, it was obvious even to me and that's where Anthony comes up.
Littles it's not something that I personally like and it wasn't an exception here, but as I said it's something totally personal and I did understand Camden's purpose in the story, I also felt a kinship with him because he should be able to be himself when he's in regression, I felt that. But I enjoyed August and Anthony's relationship a LOT more not gonna lie, it was fun to see them together, the companionship, the banter and the fire, they seemed well matched and I enjoyed it. So maybe I didn't care much for Cam as a third, but I did as a person.
Overall it was a sweet story, the MMM aspect was really well explained and it was nice to see characters from the last book. Lovely. 🤭❤
We Have Till Monday contains Daddy/Little play and rape fantasies, not my usual romantic fare, but Cara Dee, who knows her way around a kink or two, delivers a quirky, soulful story about two men (a Daddy and his boy) who've reached the point in their relationship where a third person would complete their dynamic. Or so thinks Camden, the self-proclaimed evil-genius.
Camden finds out everything he can about Anthony (Nicky's older brother from We Have Till Dawn) after he stalks Anthony's Instagram profile. Indeed, he makes sure that Anthony wins a cooking class with August, Camden's Daddy, who also happens to be a successful, well-known chef.
Camden reels Anthony into his and August's love nest in Nashville (and their home is stunning, OMG!), and the lust between the three is instantaneous. Some incredibly tender and sexy moments ensue.
August is my favorite of the three MCs. He's a sliver fox, a thoughtful caretaker who needs a present adult companion. August loves Camden with all his heart, but Camden is most comfortable as a Little and even reaches stages when he's no longer sexual (although he still like to suckle on Daddy's cock).
Not gonna lie: Camden is a lot when he's Little. He's pouty, loud, and silly. I don't find that attractive at all, but, hey, to each their own. Camden also likes to be taken in his sleep and to playrape while pretending he's a puppy. I found some of the scenes quite erotic. (But if that's a hard limit for you, don't read this book.)
Anthony is the narrator of the story (the prologue is narrated by Camden, but we never get August's POV, which kind of sucks). Anthony is everyone's rock, but he's stressed and lonely. He never puts himself first and carries the world's burdens on his shoulders.
August and Camden are perfect for Anthony: Camden to bring levity to Anthony's life and August to shoulder some of the burdens and make sure Anthony eats more than Twizzlers for lunch.
This might be a good time to mention that I strongly suggest not reading this book as a standalone. You'll like We Have Till Monday more if you meet Anthony in Nicky and Gideon's story and get to know the secondary characters, especially Nicky, who's Anthony's sounding board.
The ending, which takes place at the same time as the epilogue in We Have Till Dawn, is all the things. If the kinks I mentioned don't bother you, I highly recommend this book.
Hard to rate to be honest. Yes, it was sweet and hella sexy and I loved all three main characters and their dynamic. But… my excitement for this story wouldn’t last beyond the half-way mark. Tho it was hot the sexy times kinda left me unsatisfied, I got bored and the epilogue did absolutely nothing for me. (And I kinda remember that I had the same issues with the first book too.)
It seems that Cara Dee and I are not a good match anymore. I somehow find myself getting more irritated with her characters in each new book.
I thought the setting here was very unrealistic and I just couldn't get into it.
And while I expected to like Camden as the little in the story, I thought he was a bit too forward for my taste.
And what the heck is with Cara Dee and rape fanaties these day? I hated it in The Game, and I couldn't continue with this book after reading this:
“And I don’t mean to stoke the fire,” August went on, which I could sense was total bullshit, “but Camden’s favorite fetishes include rapeplay—both as the aggressor and the recipient—his own version of puppy play, and objectification.”
Now there is nothing wrong with that, I just don't like it in my romance books.
Cara Dee always seems to know just what I need and when I need it. We Have Till Monday was deliciously dirty and even a bit sweet. I loved every minute I was with Anthony, August, and Camden. I hope we see them again. Maybe they'll happen upon a certain kink club in DC, someday. A girl can dream!
This book is not for everyone. You can easily come to that conclusion by reading the blurb. But if you decide to dive in - either because the tropes are appealing to you, or because they are some of your favorites or simply because you just want to try something new - you'll find a little gem hidden between these pages.
The prologue is the only part written from Camden's point of view and it achieved what I think it was its purpose. By being inside Camden's head for a little while, the reader gets to understand how he thinks. They see the situation from the inside and aren't afraid of Camden and August growing apart once Antony gets in the picture.
Camden and August have been a couple for six years, they are solid and very much in love. But their relationship is based on kink and they want that kind of dynamic to be present as much as possible. It's something they practice in their everyday life and not just once in a while or something reserved only for scenes.
They are happy together but the nature of their relationship is such that sooner or later they'd have to add another partner to their dynamic so that all their needs are met.
Camden is smart like that and he knows it's time to find that missing piece, despite August being reluctant. His reluctance though comes from him being afraid of hurting Camden or them loosing what they have and not from disagreement. He knows that Camden is right, he knows they have to add someone to their relationship, he's just not strong enough to make that decision and take that step first.
So Camden sets in motion his "evil genius plan".
The rest of the book is entirely told from Anthony's point of view. I liked him and I liked his voice. Not once did he assume that he was going to come between the couple, he knew his place and he respected their connection and their history. He was careful to get everything right while he navigated that new dynamic for the first time.
There was a sense of equality here that's usually missing from triad stories. Where usually one seems like he gets all the attention or one seems less important than the other two, here that was never an issue. There was never a sense of this story being about two people. It was about three and it was always clear. Even in the scenes where Antony interacts with only one of the couple, the other is present through their conversations. At the beginning, Anthony was always very aware of the boundries and of himself being a temporary addition to an established couple's life. He treated them as a team while on vacation in Nashville and he never tried to separate them or showed preference to one of them.
Each relationship between the three was different, the dynamic was different. Anthony's relationship with Camden didn't have anything in common with his relationship with August and that's how everyone wanted it to be. Don't forget that August and Camden were heavily into the D/l lifestyle so their interactions and behavior toward one another were always colored by that.
The epilogue was exactly how this story should have ended. Because the main story takes place in the span of about ten days, the epilogue was absolutely perfect. It contains scenes throughout their life up to a few years down the road. It was so good to see how they managed to work things out and how they organized their life together.
As I reached the last page I realized that I couldn't stop smiling. That fact alone is testament enough to how much I enjoyed "We Have Till Monday". But it's not just that, this story is about people, about relationships that change and evolve, about developing feeling when you least expect it and about making room in your life for what matters the most. And that's why I loved it.
I 've been going back and forth with my rating for ages. It's the first time EVER that I can't handle a Cara Dee kink. I stopped pretending I liked what I was reading the moment Camden . It was like that throughout the whole book (mostly), The blurb is clear that this has Dd/lb all over it so it's probably on me that I didn't enjoy it more. On the other hand I have always rated my books based on my enjoyment and I have REALLY loved all the other Cara Dee kinkiness, so...2 stars it is. Sad, sad day.
We Have Till Monday is about Nicky's brother, Anthony Fender, 43, founder of The Fender Initiative, a music academy. Anthony is at a low point in his life, while his music school is thriving he is lonely and is keen on meeting that special someone. But first, together with Nicky and some of the school's musicians, he first has a gig at a rock festival outside Nashville. Since Anthony loves food, he decides to go a week earlier to go to a food festival, and on top of it all, he is invited to attend a cooking class of his idol, chef August King.
August King, 54, is in a Daddy/Little relationship with Camden Adair, 27, and Camden is looking for a third to add to their dynamic.
I'm not a fan of Daddy/Little dynamic, it gives me too much of a eww-feeling. While I really love this story, it is well written and evokes a lot of emotions. I was rooting for Anthony to find his HEA, I was rooting for August too. My issue is with Camden, especially when he is regressed.
Camden's mental state made me so uncomfortable and I'm not trying to past judgement to anyone's life style. I'm not going further into detail, you need to read the book. August and Anthony relationship is the reason I'm giving this 3⭐.
The Fender Brothers books are best enjoyed in this order:
I definitely enjoyed this book much more than the previous one We Have Till Dawn. Even though it was a very linear, straightforward story, I actually didn´t skim at all, and in my opinion it was a sweet and enjoyable polyamorous-relationship romance read. Contains: polyamorous relationship (MMM), age gap (ages 54, 43, 27), age play + Daddy kink as a lifestyle not just play
What I liked: ⁕ there is a clear explanation of polyamorous feelings, and why these characters wanted/needed that dynamic and how it made their relationship successful ⁕ their openness and communication. They were playing no games. I guess this is the part where the maturity of the main characters plays significant role.
What I didn't like: ⁕ Camden's mental state made me uncomfortable sometimes. But I struggle with age play in general, so that's on me I guess... ⁕ the whole story spans over 3 weeks maybe (with the exception of epilogue that spans over years), so it is an insta-lust-turned-insta-love story. It was quite well developed though, so it didn't bother me that much in the end...
As much as I loved Anthony from book 1 and wanted his happiness I cannot go forward with reading this. The Daddy/little regression ish just doesn’t work for me.
Age gap. Daddy kink. Threesomes. Age play. Sweet men. Instant connections. Good communication. Protective Daddies. Sneaky Little. Rape roleplay. Sexy-as-fuck sex. Music. Food. Love. One hell of a HEA.
This is what good books are made of. Loved it in all its kinky sweet glory.
I’m trying to keep things short because this is a whole new territory for me👀. Ageplay/Daddy/Little subject is something I’ve never really looked into it or read in a actually book before, yes I had a little knowledge about it but not enough to be really familiar with it. Okay so about the book! I absolutely enjoyed this one!
Anthonys,Augusts and Camdens dynamic was absolutely incredible. I have to say their relationship moved on really quickly but it doesn’t felt rushed at all, because Anthony fits effortless into Augusts and Camdens dynamic, it felt look he knows them since ages! And this brought so much comfort with it💕. I really loved each character, Anthony was so protective and attentive, Camden was just really adorable but also such a sneaky shit and August was so damn sexy and sweet. Only complaints I have is about their character developments for me it wasn’t enough, it could have been more! Overall I enjoyed their Daddy/Little dynamic a lot, it was really interesting to watch how they interact with each other and how they respond to the needs of the other. The story was full of kindness, acceptance and many other positive massages but it also includes really spicy, kinky and steam hot scenes🔥!!
This read gave me so many happy feelings 🥹💕 also I’m really glad I explored this new trope and I’m happy that it was this book for exploring it, I think it was the perfect pick up for it☺️!!!
I loved this story. It was sexy, friendly, and so much fun. All good hearted and lovable put together. Anthony won a ticket to a food festival in Nashville and got a cooking class with celebrity chef August King. He will stay with August and Camden. They are together for six years and so in love. All three are at a different age, August is fifty-four, Camden twenty-seven, and Anthony forty-three. They welcome Anthony in their home and in no time in their bed. August is a Daddy and Camden is regressing more and more to a boy. The three have the most wonderful and delicious time. Anthony can’t imagine a life without them. Anthony lives in New York.
Sweet, sexy, and funny. Camden is adorable and has some delicious sexy fantasies. The three of them have a great dynamic. Quite engaging characters. There is such a lovely story build around the three of them! Delightfully written, very charming narrative. I enjoyed it all and read it in one sit!
Anthony is a musician who runs a music school with his brother Nicky ( if you read We Have till Dawn you know who i'm talking about). He is a single forthy yo man who feels deeply the need to be loved, the need for a change in his life. Taking cooking class with the famous chef August King is a good start..
August King and his Little boy Camden have been happy for six years yet Camden thinks they need someone else to really be happy, to be complete. And it seems that Anthony is perfect for them..... 😏😏
This story is kinky and steamy AF 🔥🔥🔥 Like for real!!! The chemistry between the three of them is off the charts. And the dynamic works so perfectly it make you swoon 😍😍😍 They are so damn adorable i didn't want to leave them. And despite the kinky-ish part, the story has so many positive messages, so much kindness and acceptance it made my heart full of love and hope ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Honestly i'm not much into age play and i was a bit worried but i know Cara Dee' writing style enough to gave it a try, and well i couldn't be happier to have read We Have till Monday!!! I liked it even more than We have till dawn, and i loved that book!! So if you have not read them yet, do it now!!
La temática no es lo mío, me gustó mucho más el primero. Además, me ha parecido un poco facilongas cómo se ha resuelto todo. Pero es bonito, y es entretenido.
First, I am going to try and keep this short because this is a subject I don't know much about. The Daddy/Little subject is not something I have read up on or even read books about until now. Because of that, I don't want to say something that could be offensive or come across as judgmental until I know more about the subject. OK, move on Jess.
What I will say is that I was super intrigued by Anthony all throughout We Have Till Dawn and getting his story was utter perfection. He found his home finally after years of feeling like he never would and that was so freaking beautiful. Camden & August had their own dynamic that Anthony just fit into so effortlessly it was as if they had known one another for years. Not in the overly cheesy way either, what I must give Cara Dee props on is that while the relationship moved quickly August and Anthony's relationship was a buildup. From the very start Anthony and Camden had their own sort of like that you just can't describe but over the months from the start of their HEA you see their relationship progress more and more. This book just gave me all the happy feels without any of the "uncomfortable feels" I was anticipating.
We Have Till Monday was nothing like I have ever read before but I am so happy that I did. Exploring new trope like this one can either go rather well or terribly bad but I felt like this was the perfect story for me to dip my toes into it. If any other stories with Daddy/Little's catches my eye in the future I will have to try them out.
Rounding up a little. Overall really enjoyed this. Nobody writes kinky books quite like Cara Dee does. I found the pacing a bit off, slow to get started and then everything at once but I loved all the characters and it was fun to read.
DNF at 2% (Is it still called DNF when you've barely read it? 😅). There's very little stuff that I am not comfortable reading and unfortunately, this story is one of those. But the writing is good as always (ehem it's Cara Dee) that it actually made me want to try...but after contemplating for days, the answer is still no. Maybe next time. 🤞
Camden is a matchmaker in this mmm book. The dynamic is complicated but not. I enjoyed the balance of personalities and how each person fit in the love puzzle. This book really worked for me. These characters had trust in one another. A deep trust and it flowed into their love for one another.
Not all mmm books seem balanced but this one was a perfect mix of each character’s strengths and weaknesses. And their chemistry was SO hot. I hope this is not the last we see of them.
I rarely read age play and poly books but I still enjoyed this one. I loved the characters, Camden was absolutely adorable, August was really sexy and sweet, and Anthony was the best character. They just blend in the most perfect way. This book was steamy and super sweet at the same time.
Daddy/Little play and others kinks. Low anguish and hot scenes. Camden has his Daddy (August) and they have been together for a long time, but he feels that something or rather someone, is missing in their relationship. And I agree, they were missing Anthony,🤭 I liked their interactions, and God, I loved August and Anthony, they were so cuteee. I can describe the characters as Camden: naughty and sweet, August: thoughtful and kind, Anthony: lonely, but he and I are the same in the kitchen, we suck, so I found it funny when he tries to cook. My complaints: I felt a bit rushed as Anthony agreed to be part of the dynamic, but there wasn't much time to think, so that's okay. I don't read MMM much, but heck, I enjoyed this one.
LOVED! This book was hot! And depraved! And sweet! And not depraved enough (I'm only saying that because I'm selfish and need more depraved scenes).
Also, I'm a HUGE fan of the epilogues in this series. I never realized just how much I would love the glimpses we see of couples lives a couple minutes, hours, weeks, and years after a story concludes. They are seriously one of the things I love most about this series and I hope Cara Dee does it again in future series as well.
Cara Dee hit it out of the park yet again! I love how her mind works and I'm even more glad that she freely shares it with us. :)
DNF @67% Okay. So listen. This is more like a 2.99 stars. Barely just a tiny bit 3.00 stars.
The writing and writing style itself its good. Good grammar (as far as I can tell which isn’t much but whatever) and the characters are okay.
But 2 things. I found it to be way too fast paced in terms of sex and romance. It was insta-lust followed very closely and in a very blurry and sneaky way, insta-love.
The characters met for the very first time and in less than a week (A WHOLE ASS WEEK) they are having sex without condoms from the very first time and inviting this stranger to live in their house while he’s on vacation. These gay men are going to get murdered. This is how you get murdered. And also contract a sexually transmitted disease but I digress.
Another thing, but that’s just me, its that I don’t vibe with Daddy/Little Boy play. I can get behind a Daddy and a bratty boy but when you start talking about a grown ass man “regressing” and “turning” into a child, you lose me. No kinkshame but... not for me, honey. I thought this was going to be about Daddy but NOT Little Boys. But that’s on me! I should have known and realize that Cara Dee is on a Daddy/Little Boy train and has been on it for a while (please, mother. Get off. I miss your other books but you do you, I guess. I’ll just be here.... crying).
The book dabbles on some Rape Play, as far as I went on 67% there is only one scene and its relatively mild, and some puppy play. Both are very mild up until 67%. I don’t know anything after that nor do I care.
