I mean it's cute. Very adorable. Maybe too adorable for my personal taste? The art style is really pretty and I love the underlying lesson but I'm not interested too much about it. One of the good things is the postitivity this manhua shows. The toxicity levels are very low and eveyone's supportive of other's dreams and other factors also. Unfortunately I stopped at Chapter 44. And I heard this is just the first season? I'm not cut out for this much fluff. Just my preference.

I pretty sure they both like each other (you can't miss the loving looks!) I can't wait for them to get together in the future, but for now their friendship is enough!

这应该是我第一本关于运动员 (芭蕾舞者、拳击手) 的小说。

故事平铺直叙，人物之间的对话真实逗趣，情谊真挚动人。没有恶意的挑拨离间，没有无谓的嫉妒猜疑。虽然这些在现实面前都显得不太可能，但这样的美好在故事里毫不虚假，恰好符合人物性格，直击我心。他们展现的运动员精神和执着也特别令我动容。非常励志、有正能量、简单平凡的一个故事。

故事叙述了人物从八岁到二十岁的这段时光。一开始是江深和乡下同伴陈毛秀 (狗毛)、青灵子、沈树宝四人之间的珍贵友谊和简单快乐的童年，总是互相调侃又不忘扶持。每个人都有自己追逐的目标，却也同时照看着彼此。我喜欢这样深厚的感情，是朋友也是亲人，即使各奔东西，仍持续留意彼此，相聚时依旧尽兴。到城里学习芭蕾舞之后，江深的交友圈子渐渐扩大，他认识了拳击班的白谨一和赖松、舞蹈班的宋昕等人。这些在江深年仅八、九岁结识的朋友，见证他追逐成为芭蕾舞者的梦想，白谨一更成为他生命中不可或缺的存在。

我喜欢江深对跳舞的那份纯粹。江深跳舞的原因是因为他喜欢，他说，跳舞的时候他会想到这份喜欢，还有对人生中人事物的喜欢。我想，就是这样的喜欢让他全身心投入舞蹈中，散发出与众不同的魅力。

我也喜欢江深对感情的处理。他从一开始的懵懂不自觉，到后来厘清之后不退缩也不隐藏。好坦率的一颗赤子之心！

每个人物都很幸运，他们有自己的追求，有各自闪耀的亮点。有好几件事情让我揪心激动得热泪盈眶，他们对事情的看法是最原始的坚持和珍惜，没有杂念，想做、要做、会做。但愿我也能如此。

[22/01/22] FIRST SEASON REVIEW:

LISTEN TO ME EVERYBODY. If you want to read something drama-free, very cute, slow-burn AND with a relationship/cliché “from childhood friends to lovers”… let me tell you that THIS COMIC IS FOR YOU. And even if you are not into these, you definitely should read it, just saying.

Basically, this manhua is about a guy called Jiang Shen who is a countryside boy that starts practicing ballet for fun even though his parents are having a hard time with money (showing him they will always support his dreams). It ends up that in the building where he practiced there was also a box studio training, and here is when he met Bai Jinyi for the first time and he starts calling Jiang “little swan”. Bai Jinyi, unlike Jiang, is from a rich family who lives in the city with all the facilities you can imagine.

Since they met (back in the ballet studio when they were 12 years old kids), they develop a beautiful friendship in which they grow together supporting each other and their respective dreams (Jiang want to be a famous ballet dancer and Jinyi wants to be a professional boxer), and sooner than later they start developing feelings deeper than just friendship and we have to wait and see what happen with them.

Guys, this story is the most adorable thing I could’ve read, both Jiang and Jinyi are the silliest but the cutest boys because they LITERALLY flirt in front of everybody 24/7 and they still don’t get that THE TWO OF THEM HAVE FEELINGS FOR EACH OTHER. But not just they are incredible, the whole comic is full of side characters that are really nice with Jiang and Jinyi (and of course, they all have their own interesting story going on).

Lastly, I also have to say that this manhua still is not perfect, because it could look like everything that happens is kinda “for the sake of the plot” and most of the time the situations were so unrealistic (WHICH is not bad at all because this is fiction at the end of the day, but it bothered me a bit).

Hace más de dos años que comencé esta lectura, pero deje que terminará para leerlo todo, amo mucho todo aquí, los personajes son increíbles y cada uno nos deja algo diferente, sueños cumplidos, metas alcanzadas, así como sueños no cumplidos, pero convertidos, amo a los amigos, a Chen Maoxiu que nunca tuvo sueños enormes como todos a su al rededor, pero vive orgulloso del resto y cómodo atendiendo una villa, a su hermana Chen Qinling que fue motivada y apoyada por su hermano para alcanzar su sueño de ser pintora, a Shubao que siempre apoyo a sus amigos y cumplió su sueño, siendo los primeros amigos del cisne, siempre presentes, apoyándolo y alentandolo, al igual que sus preciosos padres y el abuelo, quien marca de manera profunda con su historia y la de su amada, a Xing Song que fue la primera compañera del cisne, que renunció a su sueño, pero volvió al escenario al lado de su amigo y se casó con aquel que siempre peleaba, el amigo de Bai, Song Lai, que al lado de su amada, creo un gimnasio de boxeo y ella una escuela de ballet, ambos siempre protegiendo a los chicos en su primer estudio, al par que recibió y protegió al cisne cuando entro a la academia, Jing Luoyun, siempre animando a todos y siendo tan amable, Liu Xinghi que a pesar de su actitud, es increíblemente empatico y amable, protegiendo a los suyos y aunque a veces nervioso de los avances del cisne, jamás se intimido o trato mal, encontrando el amor y siendo feliz, al primer trío de oro de la academia, Luoxiang, Junyi y Allen, que tuvieron problemas, lesiones y arrepentimientos, pero que lograron ser felices al final de todo, Junyi y Allen siendo maestros del actual trío, siempre para ellos y aunque con problemas, por fin juntos.

Y por último, aquel par que unió tantas historias, aquel par que me hizo volver a creer en el amor, Jiang Shen el adorable pequeño cisne que bailo por amor hasta el final, qué hizo amigos increíbles en su camino, qué creció de manera increíble, que nunca dejo de soñar y que ama con locura a aquel que estuvo desde sus inicios, mi (por mucho) personaje favorito, el joven maestro Bai Jinyi, ese niño en un inicio serio, pero siempre protector, sin miedo a demostrar lo que siente, que pese a su carrera como boxeador se cuida de lesiones en su rostro para no preocupar a su amado, que siempre procuro, defendió, espero y amo a su cisne.
Aquel par que desde su encuentro se enamoraron, quienes siempre estuvieron para el otro, alentandose y apoyándose aun cuando sus profeciones no tenían nada que ver con la otra, aquel par valiente que tras un baile del lago de los cisnes revelaron su relación frente a todos, quienes se casaron en las vegas el mismo día 12 años después desde que se conocieron, aquel par que juraron amarse hasta que la inevitable muerte los separara.

A ellos y a todos los demás, los amo. ✨

sobrang innocent ng relationships dito na kahit bahid ng label wala. I've decided to rate what I've read so far, it's...cute. It's refreshing, very adorable, and the art is really nice as well. I believe this is Shounen Ai? The story doesn't contain smut or anything like that which is fine by me. There aren't major conflicts either or unpleasant characters, my one note is the romantic relationship is so vague with labels!

They didn't ask each other out or confessed or referred to each other as romantic partners (boyfriends), they talked every night on the phone, went home together after practice, gave each other gifts, LIVED TOGETHER, and, still, no labels!

I'm not sure if this is how it usually is in Shounen Ai, but I feel like the who-they-are-to-each-other conversation is a huge plot point that should be included, right?

Apart from that, as I mentioned earlier there's no conflict whatsoever. Everyone is supportive of each others' dreams, no homophobes so far, LUV THAT. I understand that it might not be realistic, but it's nice to see couples just be lovely together without someone being all GAY BAD🙄 You can't pray the gay away, right? lol.

Un manhwa /danmei chinois que j’ai découvert lors de la JapanExpo à Paris cet été.

Pour commencer, parlons du graphique, je le trouve incroyablement sublime, il est tout en couleurs ! J’ai vraiment beaucoup apprécié ce premier tome. Il n’y a pas vraiment d’intrigue et on est plutôt dans un slice of life. La romance commence tout doucement et elle est très douce.

Les personnages sont attachants et adorables. Tous les opposent, l’un est riche l’autre reste pauvre, l’un vit a la campagne alors que l’autre vit en ville, ils sont aussi des passions différentes, l’un est boxeur et l’autre est danseur mais pourtant ils se complètent parfaitement.


En bref, une très belle découverte. J’ai trouvé ce premier tome tellement mignon et doux. Je le recommande a 100000000% si vous recherchez une histoire d’amour slow burn toute mignonne et sans prise de tête,

Si alguien quiere leer una historia de amor, de romance, con desarrollo de personaje, sin drama exagerado, que te muestra que es posible amarse y ser una buena historia, sin recurrir a clichés, que aunque puedan gustarte, suelen ser innecesarios.

La historia tiene un desarrollo continuo, tanto de las etapas de los personajes, como sus relaciones personales, profesiones y obviamente su historia romántica.

10000000% RECOMENDADO, de rápida lectura y no genera esa sensación de negación post lectura...

Just completed reading Season 1. Such a unique and nice story. I read the whole in just one sitting. The art is exquisite, so beautiful. Every scene is perfectly drawn. I fell in love with the characters, they are so nice and happy-go-lucky. I like this slow burn in the relationship between Jiang Shen and Bai Jinyi. aaaaa if i would have to describe this novel, it would be "a novel that will reminds you of your youth and your dreams". aside from adoring these 2 main characters, i also love the supporting characters and the way they support these 2 main characters. this novel is a breathe of fresh air, a kind of novel that you will read after reading some devastating or heartbreaking novel just like me lol. this novel really cured all the heartaches i got after reading case file compendium.
