The worst thing about this book is its cover.
It's a stark contrast with the beautiful interior design,
The less you know about YouTube, the more you will get out of this book.
The book's format is simple: each two-page spread has a key tip from a popular YouTuber on one side and color photos of that YouTube on the other side.
The key stats of each YouTuber are displayed (i.e., # of subscribers, their username, and their favorite YouTubers).
The title of the tip summarizes the tip (e.g., "Don't pigeonhole yourself").
Then there's one paragraph expanding on that concept.
The second and last paragraph is all about the YouTuber who is giving you this tip.
Every 3 pages, you get a two-page "Technical Tangent."
These are super usesful.
You get several practical tips.
For instance, one tech tangent is "Before you hit record."
It says:
Shoot it with your 4K smartphone or used DSLR.
Go steady (don't shake).
Get lit.
Check audio.
It breaks down all 4 of those tips.
Overall, if you'd like to increase your YouTube audience, this book is quite helpful.
It should pay for itself.

I’m actually super surprised at how well put together this book is! I always had it in my Amazon cart and kind of hated that I needed to buy it physically vs for my Kindle, but it was great! I have experience on YouTube and I’ve also done my own level of research and the author is super correct! I definitely urge anybody who is trying to get into YouTube as a career to read this, or even casually taking it seriously. It takes points from a lot of big YouTubers who were willing to share useful and helpful advice. Loved it!

This was a really interesting and informative read, as I always wondered how people are able to make a living on YouTube. The author really did their research and spoke to successful YouTube personalities, so the advice isn't from someone that just threw together a book. The time and effort put into writing this comes across to the reader. I learned a lot from this and now know how it is possible for people to make a living off of YouTube!

I was really impressed with this book. A friend recommended it and it was a great read. Lots of amazing information and really easy to follow. Although its quite a comprehensive book, I found myself going through it quite quickly as it was so well organized and easy to follow. A MUST READ for Marketers!

3.5 Pretty good tips, though most are common sense so this book is definitely more for beginners. There are some useful information and links at the end of the book.

總體上來說感覺挺敷衍的一本guide，內容有一點時效性，沒什麼太大用處。一星給正方形開本。
