Aubrey Bondurant is a romance author who believes life is better with humor, heat, and a happily-ever-after. She writes the kind of stories she loves to read—smart, flirty, and spicy enough to make you blush in public.

When she’s not writing, Aubrey is usually spending time with her family. She can be tempted by anything caffeinated, great cocktails, and any dog big enough to knock her over with enthusiasm. She’s convinced the world needs more kindness, more laughter, and way more swoony book boyfriends.

Getting her power back, and finding his worth…

Geez, life is complicated, hard and challenging. It’s only now that I’m heading towards the big 5 – 0 that I’m realising that there is one rule I live by.
****FIND YOUR HAPPY PLACE****

I had grand plans to write a review about facing demons, knowing your own worth, and not letting others' negativity bring you down, but seriously, Miss Treated is all about moving forward. Sure, there were stumbling blocks, uncertainties, and douchewaffles to deal with along the way, but mostly, this is a story about finding your own HAPPY PLACE!

When I first finished this story, I thought my review would be all about Kelsey and how she had overcome her abusive relationship. Then, after some consideration, I realised that Dominic had just as much growth in this story. The two of them were so perfect for each other and knew exactly what would give the other safety and peace.

I think the most significant show of strength from Kelsey, was 'seeing' her stand up to her ex and mother. The two of them were utter, utter DOUCHEWAFFLES! I'm still fuming at how awful Kelsey's mother was and I wanted to reach into the book and slap her silly. With Dominic, he appears to have it all but behind the *surfer guy with the money* facade, is a man trying to find his place in the world. His moment to shine was when he acknowledged that his place wasn't beside his father in business, but going with a different path. Sometimes proving your worth means standing up for what you need to be happy.

I get a little twitchy when an author decides to keep a series going by creating stories for additional characters. In this case, my twitch is more in excitement because I NEED to know who is the perfect partner for these characters. I am really looking forward to Brooke's, Leo's and Gabe's stories.

Aubrey Bondurant writes good stuff. (I'm so elegant in my flattery.) Even when writing about heavy subjects, she manages to keep it positive and find the perfect characters to be perfect partners. If you haven't tried one of her stories yet, I highly recommend giving this series a try.

Stacey is Sassy, received an advanced copy of this story. The copy provided is not the final copy and may be subject to edits and changes.

I loved this so much!!

I don’t think I’ll be able to express properly how much I loved this book and how it made me feel.

So. Many. Emotions!! Nic and Kelsey stole my heart.

Dominic (Nic) Chambers…arrogant and cocky but OMGoodness, the heart on that man!! Not an asshole-ish bone in his body. He’s kind and generous and yes, super flirty, but he’s got a heart of gold the size of Texas.

Kelsey was dealt a shitty hand in life with a mother who’s a manipulative narcissist and a father who didn’t give her the time of day. And an ex who wanted to control her. But man oh man, did she ever turn out to be one tough cookie.

When Nic and Kelsey met, I swear I could feel the sparks. They couldn’t be around each other without feeling things. All the things. Good things. Happy things. Hopeful things. I couldn’t help but root for them.

Ms. Bondurant always makes me FEEL everything when I read her stories. And Miss Treated was a perfect example of that. I absolutely adored Kelsey and Nic made me swoon HARD. I loved their kindness, their vulnerabilities squeezed my heart, and I wanted to dive into the pages to protect them, defend them, keep them happy, all the while making them feel special and loved and needed.

Miss Treated is an emotionally gripping story that packed a punch to the feels and had me hooked from beginning to end. From when Kelsey’s purse spilled all over the floor and Nic was picking up her runaway feminine hygiene product, albeit with an arrogant wink, to that pivotal moment when Kelsey possessed the strength to make peace with her past. I couldn’t get enough.

This book was everything I knew it would be. Plenty of heart, splashes of humor at exactly the right places, and all the charm and passion and love that made this an amazing and perfectly written office romance.

Sensitive subjects were handled with tenderness and care. With realness and honesty and love. So many moments in this well-written story squeezed my heart and pulled at the heartstrings. The way Kelsey and Nick’s friendship grew was the sweetest. The way they bonded was beautiful. And the way they both were stronger in the end made my heart burst with joy.

I felt all the love that poured off these pages and it filled me with warmth, contentment, and happiness. My heart is full.

I can’t recommend this enough. If you’ve read the other books in this series, you’ll love this one. If you haven’t read the others, you’ll still love this one.

✨A TOP READ OF 2021✨

OH THE FEELS! And a super high swoon factor! Dominic Chambers is super cocky without being a douche! He is freaking wonderful! I am not sure how the heck Aubrey does it.... but she has me wanting to claim 80% on he men she writes as my own! And he is JUST the kind of man that Kelsey needs! She managed to come into his life at just the right time. The angst is mild..... when the heartbreak moment happened.... my heart did a bit of a dip into my stomach. Kelsey is one of the strongest heroines that I have read about in a while. She is rising above the crap that was thrown at her by the woman who "raised" her and the man that was supposed to love her. I totally feel like the love that Dominic has to give will be PERFECT for her! I am just so in love with this couple! Definitely one that everyone needs to read!

5 SMOOCHES!

I love Aubrey Bondurant’s books, and I’ve read them all. She describes her writing style as adult contemporary erotic romantic comedy—I like to call it smutty chick-lit—but whatever she calls it, you can count on an engaging, smart and witty story. She always pulls me right in with vivid details and relatable characters and a sexy, consuming love story. If you haven’t read Aubrey Bondurant’s books yet, you’re seriously missing out. She’s a not-to-be-missed indie author that contemporary romance readers need to have on their TBRs.

I’m really loving Aubrey Bondurant’s latest series, the Miss series. Workplace romances are a favorite trope of mine, and Aubrey does a fantastic job telling these complicated stories. I absolutely loved Kelsey and Dominic’s story. It was an emotional journey of a woman finding her footing after a lifetime of dealing with a narcissistic mother and ex. Nic was so charming. He’s a good guy, a little lost and looking for that something missing in his life, but he knew right away that Kelsey was it. The problem was she wasn’t sure if she could trust her instincts about him and if she should risk her newly healed, fragile heart. That’s where the fun began as Nic worked double time pursuing Kelsey.

Miss Treated was blisteringly sexy, intensely emotional with just enough angsty drama to keep me on the edge of my seat, furiously tapping my Kindle. The feels were real in Nic and Kelsey’s romance, and Bondurant perfectly peppered in some much appreciated humor and a bit of hope that pulled on all my heartstrings. I’m so excited for the next few books in this series, and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. Five smooches from me for Miss Treated by Aubrey Bondurant!

So much YASSS BITCH.
I felt for Kelsey. It wasn’t the absolute worst life but she had no one in her corner for a long time (maybe Chase but he also had his own stuff going on). Surrounded by toxic and unhealthy relationships - an exfiance who would emotionally abuse her as well as a toxic mother. She went through a lot of hardship and is finally working on standing on her own two feet, happily.
Dominic was an absolute dream and the perfect man for her. He had a tough time as a kid but became such a respectful, supportive, and kind soul - honestly, could exactly be the reason for why he matured the way he did. Always looking out for her best interests and he was such a flirt! He’s so flipping cute!
There wasn’t THAT much steam, not a lot of banter either, it’s majorly a basic romance but sometimes it’s what I need. A good story, great characters, and real life shit.

Our lovely heroine (Chance's sister from a previous book) has gotten a job with a family business to help ferret out some accounting issues (think embezzlement). She's taken with the COO (the son of the owner), who is equally taken with her.

This is labeled as opposites attract, but I didn't see that at all. I immediately recognized the family issues/similarities.

Another good one from this author.

This was truly an enjoyable read - I loved the story between Kelsey and Dominic.
The story wasn't something I expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed.
He helped her through her past history with her awful Mother and her crappy ex Joel - YUCK!!! She in turn helps him see is potential and what he wants out of life, and his future.

STEAM: 🔥🔥🔥

I have been sleeping on Aubrey Bondurant's The Miss Series, and I am not making that mistake again.

Miss Treated is the sixth book in this series, and while it was fantastic as a standalone, I will definitely be going back to read the rest of the series.

Kelsey Maxwell is starting her gig as forensic auditor on contract with Chambers Tech, where Dominic Chambers is COO working for his father. Kelsey just wants to focus on the task at hand, but it is hard when you have a good-looking distraction like Dominic. Dominic is tired of his family ribbing him as a commitment-phobe; he has promised his dad that he would stay as COO for at least a year. Now he has to help Kelsey get her tasks done, and he struggles with keeping things professional and keeping his attraction at bay.

These two are just amazing. Dominic is the perfect alpha-roll. He is hot, kind, and caring. He adores his mom, and despite their differences, he respects his dad and his brothers. I love how he respects Kelsey and her boundaries. Aubrey Bondurant did a phenomenal job in creating someone who has the sensitivity and care to support someone with Kelsey's past. And Kelsey. My heart broke for what she had to deal with, and it soared for how strong she progressively becomes in addressing her problems.

I really enjoyed their progression from colleagues to friends to lovers. The underlying tension as we navigate through this slow-burn is just so spicy.

There is an element of romantic suspense that I really liked. The whodunit element kept me at the edge of my seat, and I liked how they resolved it in the end.

If you're looking for sweet and spicy with a small side of suspense, Miss Treated is now available.

This was an absolutely awesome story and I loved every second of it. It stars Kelsey, who in a previous book we met as Chance's step sister. She had an awful ex and she tried to commit suicide in Chance's book Miss Trust.

Now she is all better and has dumped her ex and she has a new job working for Dominic's father as accounting investigator in San Diego. But her real investigation is very hush hush so Nic has no clue and she is not allowed to tell him the truth.

Nic and Kelsey become friends and fall for each other but they have a massive secret between them, one that can destroy his entire family.

Nic is a COO for his company but he is a free spirit and has agreed to work at the company for one year to see if its a good fit for him. So he ends up as a boss/co-worker in a way to Kelsey so they both decide to keep their feelings and relationship on the down low side.

In this story we see Kelsey's evil mother and her evil ex, but we also see Kelsey be strong and I adored seeing the changes that Kelsey has grown since Miss Trust.

Nic is a huge flirt and falls really hard for Kels and while she is so not his type he really sees beyond all the material things into her heart and who she is as he falls for her. Kelsey tries really hard to resist flirty Nic and I loved how she makes him chase her and tries hard to resist him.

This was so well written and I absolutely adored every moment of the story. I loved Nic's mom and Nic himself was such an awesome character. In this story we also meet Nic's brothers (he has two of them) and I fell hard for them. I hope they get stories too in this series.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sorry. Didn’t finish as so boring.

I’m really disappointed with this book. The writing is good, the characters are well written, so why didn’t I finish it?

It’s so boring! Never ending pages on her feelings, and how she’s weak and has to take anti depressants. Doesn’t this writer know that a lot of people are on or have taken anti depressants? It’s nothing to be ashamed of, and I felt annoyed that she wrote the character as she did. And yes I have been on them. Three times to be precise. And I found it annoying how she describes herself as weak for taking them!

So Kelsey is determined that nothing will happen between her and Dominic, as she says he’s a pu..y magnet. She likes him but is terrified of relationships. So when she jumps on him and starts snogging him, then goes back to his place, it’s slightly unbelievable!

Dominic/Nic. Hmm… Not sexy at all! Never held a job down, or a relationship. Had leukaemia as a child and has always put off settling down. I just couldn’t get on board with him at all!!! I want a strong man who knows what he wants. Dominic doesn’t know what he wants. At all!!! He’s working at his dads business, because his dad says he never sticks with anything, so he demands a year from him. And Dominic’s elder brother fell out with his dad!

It’s just all a big mess. I’m really sorry. I persevered as the writing was good. I gave up instantly, when they jumped into bed. As it was totally not her character!!!

There was nothing happening. Kelsey is called in as a tax fraud specialist, to Dominic’s dads company. I kept waiting for something exciting to happen, and it didn’t. Sorry.

Kelsey is starting a new job. She is doing it on shaky legs. It's her first since leaving, her ex-Joel. Joel is a narcissist, along with her mother. After a ten-year dysfunctional relationship, where verbal abuse, gaslighting, and isolation were her norm she broke free.

It was unfortunate, that it almost cost her everything, including her life, when she tried, to commit suicide. Now, things were looking brighter. Chance, her brother got her this job, it's up to her to keep it. On her first day, she meets the first man that has ever made her heart flutter.

Not only does he look like he belongs on the cover of a magazine, but, he also has a great sense of humor, and his a$$ is perfect. However, Dominic is the COO and the son, of the CEO. So, not happening. Why? Because, Kelsey is a forensic auditor checking, for fraud.

Dominic is working closely with, Kelsey, and is finding himself infatuated, with her. From day one, rescuing her tampon when it fell out, of her purse. Yup, he's a keeper. Kelsey is like a shaky colt, on her new legs. When he turns his million-dollar smile on her, is it solely for her?

Dominic has that personality, that attracts every woman, within one hundred miles. After being lied, to for so long she feels overwhelmed. But, she explains it, and they decided, to allow her to set, the pace. Will this affect her work, not in the least? Not at all, right? This has characters who face, their demons, or they face them like a train, coming full force. Choosing a life filled with, positive feelings. Do the two find their way and their place in the world?

Lets just say that poor Kelsey is the reason why the I believe the book is titled Miss Treated. She has gotten out of a relationship that was in no way healthy. I was so frustrated with her Ex Joel and her mom (I use that word loosely) in this book. They made her believe she was week and couldn't survive without them So belittling and undermining. I promise once you read this book you will get what I mean, How can people do the things they did to her and say they love her. Kelsey does have a coming out of the ashes when she meets Dominic. She is good at her job and that is where she shines. Dominic is in a stage in his life where he is that new fawn being born his looks have gotten him far in life, but for sure not taken seriously. He is so much smarter then people give him credit for and he is taken by Kelsey when he sees her. He can his pick but something is different about Kelsey. First she doesn't just bow down to him like most of the other women in his life. Second she challenges him. She wants him to see himself as she see him.
This book had a lot of different levels of people dealing with issues and without giving a spoiler it is so worth your time to give it a read.
On that line it is ok to admit and acknowledge when are struggling. It does not make you a weaker or lesser of a person.

This is a really solid romance. I've been following along with this whole series and while there have been some hits and misses, this belongs in the hits category. I've been excited for Kelsey's story, and I was not disappointed.

Kelsey is a fabulous character. She goes through so much growth through this book, having escaped an emotionally abusive relationship with her ex-fiance. After the events of book #4 in this series I couldn't help but root for her. I think the author did a great job portraying mental illness and other tough topics here. Kelsey is kind, loving, and so strong. Nic is a great character too and I love seeing them together. Their relationship is very sweet, and is a nice slow burn. Their chemistry isn't off the charts, and this isn't the steamiest romance novel I've read, but it's a solid read.

The side plots/drama are well done too. We have some angst from the audit Kelsey is preforming for Nic's company, along with appearances from her emotionally abusive ex and her narcissistic mother. I will say it is fairly predictable, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Overall I would recommend this, but, sure, it's not the best romance novel I've ever read. There could have been a bit more depth, and I think the chemistry between Kelsey and Nic could have been better. It was a bit insta-love at times.

I’m loving the Miss Series and Miss Treated is the perfect addition to the series. If you love office romance look no further than Dominic (Dom) Chambers and Kelsey Maxwell’s entertaining yet emotional journey because this is a story with all the feels and I’m sure like me this couple will take over your life, you will become captivated by their journey and you won’t be putting this book down until the final word has been read.
Kelsey hasn’t had an easy life, she had parents who either treated her badly or didn’t care, she had an ex who only wanted to control her but all the pain and hurt has only made her stronger, more determined to succeed and less likely to fall in love. So will Dom win her trust ……
Dom may be cocky and arrogant but that doesn’t mean he isn’t kind and caring, he may be a flirt but when he falls he gives his all and he has fallen hook, line and sinker for Kelsey.
I fell hard and fast for this couple, they touched me on so many levels with the love, the friendship and the support they have for each other, this is a heartwarming romance that will appeal to all romance lovers and once you add in some secrets you will find yourself on the edge of your seat wondering if this couple will find the HEA they both so deserve. I love this series but I think this is my favourite couple so far.

5 star Review Miss Treated (Miss Series #6) by Aubrey Bondurant

I really enjoy Aubrey Bondurant’s style of writing and Miss Treated was an entertaining read that had be riveted from the first chapter.

This is Dominic (Nic) Chambers and Kelsey Maxwell’s office romance story and oh what a story it was. I fell hard and fast for both Nic and Kelsey, separately and especially together; they made such a great couple and were well suited to one another. We met Kelsey in Miss Trust as she is Chance’s step sister; life has not been kind to her and she has struggled.

From the moment they meet there is an attraction and the sparks fly but Nic will have a hard time convincing Kelsey to take a chance on them. The friendship that build between them and the push and pull of their relationship as walls were built and then crumbled made for an enjoyable read. However as Kelsey’s job is not what it seems, the secrets that lie between them may destroy their relationship.

I loved Nic's support of Kelsey and it was encouraging to watch him have her back as she dealt with her mother and ex. It made for a a heartwarming story of love and romance and ticked all the boxes for me and has moved in to my favourite of the series so far.

I am really enjoying this series.

Kelsey has been torn down by narcissistic people her whole life. It’s taken her until not long ago to realise this is what was happening. After many months of therapy she’s finally ready to go back to work because she knows that she is really good at her job and she can disappear in the numbers.

Dominic is a sweetheart. But because of his childhood he doesn’t know how to commit or find the thing that he is passionate for. Because of this, his own father thinks he’s aloof and disinterested even when he’s working hard to understand the company business.

Dominic is surprised that his charm skills don’t work on Kelsey, which makes him fight that much harder to get her attention. Kelsey can see that he’s a flirt but after only just finding herself again she’s not interested in a relationship just now. Because Nic takes the long road to get to know Kels it really works in both their favours. Kelsey gets to see that Nic is only pursuing her. And Nic realises how hard a fight Kels has had in her life. This two were sweet and kind for each other, I loved that Nic has a huge family for Kels to enjoy since she renounces most of hers.
I’m really looking forward to more of this series, especially Nic’s brothers!

This author knows how to bring out all your emotions in her writing .
She knows how to draw out every single emotion , through her style of writing , & her characters.

I fell hard for Dominic, & Kelsey, & their story .

Kelsey has been downtrodden all of her life . She knows she is getting better , but she still feels broken .

She has a new job at Chambers Technology, her plan is to prove herself worthy , by doing a good job .

Then she bumps into Dominic, & the heart she thought was broken begins to pump again , but can she trust her judgment, & her heart .

Dominic isn’t doing the job he wants , but he is trying to prove to his father that he is responsible, & he can commit to something. He is committed to one year , & one month in he is wishing the year would go faster .

He knows he wants something, he knows something is missing , but he doesn’t know what ……. Then he accidentally bumps into that something he wants , that something that it missing …….. Kelsey , but he just has to persuade her to take a chance on him , & to trust in him.

This is such a brilliant read , loved every second .

5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I’m so glad this was my first book of 22😭

Did I just demolish this book in 5 hours? I absolutely did. From the minute I picked it up I was hooked. As always Aubrey just blows me away with her writing, I never get bored.

For me Kelsey was such a special character, everything she accomplished after what her ex put her through strengthened her character. From the preview of her we got in chance’s book I knew I was going to love her broken parts and all. I even shed a little tear at how little she thought of herself at one point.

Dominic was the cutest little darling, I say it like that because honestly this man was just everything. Most characters are dark and broody but Dominic? He was all light. After his childhood suffering it was a breath of fresh air to get to see him thrive. The little self doubts he had of himself made my chest ache a little and him with lady? God ovaries.

Don’t even get me started on the epilogue. It was *chefs kiss* for me.

Can we hurry up and get Leo and Gabe’s story? Because I’m having chambers withdrawals already and can sense that I’m going to be falling in love with a certain Leo very soon.

This book first of all ... is about second chances.
Not the normal "2nd chance at love" story, but an elevated one.
This is Kelsey's story of her own second chance.
At life.
At love.
At work.
At family.
Everything.

To understand, I *strongly* suggest reading "Miss Trust" first by the author (go ahead and really start with book one in this series if you haven't read any of them!!) to understand what I just said.
But as you learn to understand Kelsey, you'll get a chance to understand Nic, too.
These two in this story are pretty incredible. They've had ups and downs. Some better than others.
The name of this story is so perfect for both of them.
But don't take my word that it's a book that'll tug at your heartstrings and find yourself falling for both of them (Because Nic, y'all!!) and then you'll find yourself cheering for them to win at what they want:
Fairness.
Happiness.
Genuineness.
Acceptance.
Patience.

LOVED this story SO much.

I had been in a reading funk for so long, I wanted to pick up a book and read. I picked out this book quite randomly and I was very surprised at how much I loved it. I am always hesitant at picking new authors and that too, this randomly. The characters felt so real, it felt like I knew them personally. Even though it was a fiction book, the authors kept them real.

I loved the hero. He wasn't a good boy hiding behind bad boy exterior. He wasn't an asshole. He was a boyfriend I would want. A true boyfriend material. I loved Kelsey. I could feel through her struggle, her attraction, her resistance for relationship.

Only one think I found irritating was use of certain words like narcissists, bully. I could have appreciated other words. It isn't illegal to use, it was used in right places. But would hae liked other phrases as it was distracting a bit.

I would seriously recommend this book to everyone who wants a sweet romance with some dark tones.

HEA
Standalone, interconnected characters

Trigger warnings
Mental health issues
Abusive ex (narcissistic)
Toxic family
Attempted kidnapping, forced commitment
Attempted suicide mentioned

Kels gets her story of redemption. Nic doesn't know she is investigating his aunt for fraud, but works really hard on gaining her trust and helping build up her self-esteem. He stands by her and empowers her to stand up for herself, even when he rescues her from confrontation that gets dangerous. Everyone underestimates Nic and when he thinks Kels did the same, he walks. But she leaves too, to make peace with her past self. When they both decide on the same day to seek each other out, the past comes back for her. She's in serious danger and needs a rescue, will he get there in time?

So many triggers in this book, I would strongly recommend only reading if you are over 18 and in a safe mental place. The author even includes hot-line numbers at the end of the book.

Wow, I think this is my favourite of the series. I always wanted to know more about Kelsey's story, she intrigued me when we was first introduced to her and based on the opinions of her brothers.

I don't want to give too much of the story away as best to read first hand. There are so many things that happen and you will be enthralled by them like I was. I had many emotions while reading, definitely have tissues ready just in case.

I loved how Kelsey is a strong heroine showing that you can overcome alot with the right support. Aubrey has a way of showing real life issues in her books and how her characters overcome them, this being a less known, narcissist behaviour and the signs and how to deal.

I can't recommend this enough along with the rest of the series and the amazing author.

This is absolutely one of my very favorite stories from Aubrey Bondurant. I DO love when she tackles difficult subject matter and does it in a way that has you really thinking-not only about what others go through but perhaps lets you see your own life and past more clearly. That's what Kelsey and Nic's story did for me. From the beginning, we got to see Kelsey's transformation from an emotional mess to an amazingly strong woman capable of holding her own under some very difficult conditions. When she returns to the scene of the crime so to speak is when I cried and maybe let go of my own "stuff" and that makes for a powerful story.

Dominic and Kelsey meet when she goes to work for his father's company. As an auditor she will comb the books and find any problems. Dominic is the fun, partying playboy who has recently taken the position of COO. It isn't his dream but he has committed to one year. Can she trust her judgement?

I fell for Dominic right away. Even with his playboy reputation I knew he really was a good guy. Kelsey has demons in her past so her reluctance to consider a relationship makes sense. He is sweet, patient and and oh so sexy. Loved how their friendship builds slowly. The author threw in some suspense and surprises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Love this series!

What a lovely read! Thoroughly enjoyed this book and the feelings and emotions that went with it. Dominic was an absolute sweetheart! I loved his easy going attitude and his sweet nature.
Kelsey is also a loveable leading lady who has been to Rock bottom and is trying to overcome a horrid relationship. She is so strong, but even strong people have moments of doubt. Loved the in depth details we are given around Kelsey’s job.
The two of them together we perfect!!
What a great addition to the Miss Series. Also loved to see previous characters from previous books. Absolutely recommend you read this book!

This is the first book I've read by the author and I'm glad I picked this one up. I definitely need to get to reading the previous books of this series soon. Kelsey and Dominic's story gave me all the feels and swoon! I fell in love with their characters because they're such great characters. They are both so relatable and so not perfect. Actually, they're far from it. They have their own struggles and I loved how they work on themselves. And despite Kelsey's reservation, I loved how hard Nic pursued her. That was so much fun to read. Definitely an awesome read this one is.

Miss Treated is another great addition to The Miss series. It is a complete stand alone, but has some crossover characters. Kelsey and Nic were just the cutest couple. Each had a history of mental health and experience with bad relationships. Their stories very different, but they were able to relate with the other on some level. They really did balance each other out and so much more than what you saw in the surface. I really did not want their story to end!

Office romance books are a huge favorite trope of mine and Aubrey writes them so well. Every book I read of hers I just love. And this book was amazing I was hooked from start to finish and could not put it down. I have been waiting a while for Kelsey to get her book after already meeting her and absolutely loved it, Dominic was the right man for her and after everything she has been through he was just what she needed.
