Fun and entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series
This is a fun and entertaining supernatural cozy mystery series. A great cast of characters with a fun and unique storyline. A family of witches live on one of the islands off the coast of the state of Washington. Little small town called enchanted Cove. They are the only witches that live on the island. The rest of the people that live there are human. Their family was banished from the paranormal world hundreds of years ago. Until recently when the ban was lifted. The family owns and runs A coffee café and coffee sales company. The main character is a young woman who grew up outside of the family until her father died and she moved back to the island. She did not even know if the time she was a witch. Has she moved back to the island with her to aunt and uncle and two cousins she soon found out that she was a witch as well and had magical powers. Overtime if she’s learning the powers the magic. She also happens to stumble across a body or two or a mystery or two that her and her cousins end up helping solve. Read on and see the full story and be entertained from beginning to end.
The editing is very much improved from Silver's earlier novels. This is very helpful because they were littered with typos and grammatical errors to a point where it's intensely irritating to read. It would be great if Silver got them all edited and reissued.
There's a very weak "solve".. suddenly she knew who the killer was.. with the flimsiest reason given.
We're supposed to find Kaillie's never setting foot in Palm Rings sudden switch to I'm going with you believable.
And she told Ross she loved him in the previous book so why is it suddenly a big deal?
And his reaction to the big revelation was just a waste of words it was also unbelievable.
The "investigation" was not going anywhere.. presumably that is why it required the "suddenly I knew who killed her" moment.
I don't know why I am going to try the next one because they are not a satisfying read but wth.. here goes nothing!!
Spell the Beans is book 6 of the Enchanted Enclave Mysteries
Yeah Eliza figured out who murdered Brianne and saved Eliza and Ross from magical death. Of course the save included her familiar Cleo who chased down the murderer and joined Ross in taking down the murdered. Now Eliza had to explain the magic to poor Ross, but he took it very well. The greatest humor had to do with Aunt Lucy keeping her nemesis from winning the major race!
Really like a series that takes me away from reality. I like what Samantha Silver writes. I've read a several of her series and always enjoy them. I like these characters and the plot. A wedding in Palm Rings...yay!! Looking forward to reading the installment. Just wish that publication dates were closer together but fully understand and worth the wait.
Following the cousins on another adventure is always fun. Aunt Lucy, good luck with the mayoral race. The family is consistent and comfortable to follow. I kind of feel like the author walked through this one to meet a contract deadline. I hope this trend doesn’t continue with the next book. I do enjoy this family and hope for more motivation.
Spell the Beans (Enchanted Enclave Mysteries book 6

I'm enjoying this book and series of books they are so good!☺☺☺I am really enjoying the characters and story line of this series of books and the way they are so well written!
I can't wait until the last book in this series comes out later this month. This one was full of murder and mystery, ego and bigamy (against women in jobs normally held by men only), witches and magic, elves and werewolves. Enjoy!
I have enjoyed all 6 of the stories and 6 was great. I can't wait until I can read the next installment. Its a cliffhanger, Back in the day of Saturday matinees. Great characters and fun stories. I recommend this series.
This is a well written and developed characters. The story is catching and with the strong characters makes for a very enjoyable read. Great Reading Everyone!
