Between Them #1

Between the Billionaires

My first taste of the Big Apple is as sweet as the eye candy.
But have I bitten off more than I can chew?

I moved to New York from my sleepy little hometown, ready for some excitement in my life.
And maybe in my bedroom.
So I'm excited when my co-worker decides it's time for me to experience the nightlife.
Billionaire best friends Jared and Dallas are both hotter than the sun,
And they both want me.
I've gone from "never been kissed" to dating two gorgeous guys at once.
But how am I supposed to choose which one will claim my virginity?
Maybe I don't have to.
It turns out Dallas and Jared are interested in sharing not just me, but each other.

I worry I'll be coming in between the two friends.
But maybe that's exactly where they want me.

Between the Billionaires is an MMF bisexual menage romance with no cheating and no cliffhangers; just a lot of steamy goodness and a happily ever after for all. It is a standalone that can be read and understood by itself but it's linked via characters and setting to the other books in the Between Them series so you can continue the fun once this one is done!

Meh

Didn’t care for this one. There was no emotional connection at all. Didn’t like that one of the heroes was a slimy std trap manwhore. and I despised how the heroine was dating the two guys SEPARATELY for weeks, neither one knowing that she was dating the other. She was just way too skanky a heroine to like. I don’t think I’ll be reading anything more from this author at all.

I am leaving this review voluntarily after being sent a free book. While shorter than usual, it didn't leave you wanting. Jade, Jared and Dallas meet at a night club and each go home separately. Dallas and Jade had shared phone numbers and started dating. Jared reconnects with Jade after going into the restaurant she works in and they start dating. Jared is also in love with Dallas. After awhile Jade arranges to meet Jared and Dallas at the same club where they all reveal their feelings. This leads to an equal threesome where their love is expressed physically. They eventually make it official with a commitment ceremony.

Cheesy but Sweet

Talk about fast-paced. This story was on a Zipline. Meet. Make Out w/#1 Meet. Make date w/#2. 1 and 2 are summoned by the virgin (really). Menage in an Instant. Only weeks go by when the “I love you”s result in a proposal and a baby announcement. It was a sweet story, but I feel like it was written following a pattern, with only the bones of the relationship put into words, and they sound so cheesy. Like a 16 yr. old wrote their adolescent dreams. Enjoy.

Two best friends dating one woman, what could go wrong? Absolutely nothing!

This has a nice slow burn where a woman with little sexual experience manages to engineer a threesome with two guys that are each willing to let the other have ‘win’ the contest. It turns out there is no contest, just a lot of steamy sex and love and sharing and a HEA for all three. Hot, romantic and sweet.

I loved this MMF romance. Jade is new to NYC. On a night out she shares chemistry with Jared but kisses Dallas. Jared and Dallas though are best friends. Jared is insecure about relationships at first as he has feelings for Dallas. A hot read with a HEA.

Great book!!

This was a very good short read. You have a beautiful woman who meets two best friends and she likes both of them. One of the men is also bi and has not told his best friend yet. But the woman lets them know she wants both of them at the same time. Very good book!!

SUMMARY: (SPOILER WARNING)

Jade heads to the club with her friend Sammy despite being unsure about it. It's not really her scene. While there, she meets two men on separate occasions who stir her interest -- Dallas and Jared. Little does she know they are best friends (until later).

She starts dating both of them and decides she wants to lose her virginity to not just one of them, but both of them.

Meanwhile, Jared is struggling with his long-repressed feelings for Dallas. And he is nervous about telling Dallas that not only is he bisexual, but he's in love with him.

REVIEW:

This one started off so adorable! I loved their early interactions.

I loved Jade's level of innocence. She's not naive, but she's so sweet and exploratory and I loved that.

I also liked both Jared and Dallas.

Jared I think I liked a little more because he's on the quieter side and I found that pretty attractive about him.

But I also liked how Dallas was exploring actually dating a woman and taking things slowly instead of just one night stands. It was neat to see him open his eyes to approaching women in a new light.

It was all going so well until the big reveal that she wants to have a threesome with them. At this point a lot of bombs are dropped all at once: she's been dating both of them, she wants to be with both of them at the same time, Jared is bisexual, and Jared is in love with Dallas too. It's just a lot of reveals all at once. And it made the entire ordeal feel rushed and insincere. If these different reveals had happened over time (rather than all at once) and there was more time for the characters to soak things in, I think it would've felt more sincere in my mind.

As it was, I felt like Dallas' reveal that he too is in love with Jared and Jade was an afterthought. We had no internal monologue from Dallas that would indicate he had harbored feelings for Jared. It just seemed like he blurted this out so that he wouldn't be left out. I didn't feel that kind of sexual chemistry between him and Jared at all.

The sex was also a big letdown. It was rather rushed and the main scene between the three of them didn't flow well. It didn't feel very steamy after all that buildup. Disappointing.

Also the whole "billionaire" thing wasn't even a thing. We are never told either in them are billionaires. It's clear they are wealthy (especially Jared), but not like obscenely so. So I don't understand the title.

Still, the romance itself was super sweet during their dating times and I really enjoyed those pages. I actually found myself smiling at the adorableness of their dates. So cute.

So overall it had a great start and was very sweet in terms of the initial romance. But the ménage wasn't well fleshed out and the steam left a lot to be desired. I think I would still try more from this series though, to see if those issues are addressed in future stories.
