Well, that was an interesting plot twist that I did not see coming. Also, for PIs Juliette and Samuel are totally oblivious to their feelings lol.

How I choose my rating:
1* Didn't like it at all. These are rare as I usually just don't finish any book I dislike this much.
2** Didn't like it. Again usually DNF if I dislike it this much, but occasionally I feel it still has potential and I try to stick with it to the end.
3*** I liked it. It wasn't great but it was enjoyable enough. It is unlikely I'll ever reread it but I might finish the series if it is a part of one.
4**** I really liked this book. Maybe not a work of genius, but highly entertaining. I might reread this at some point, and I will almost always finish the series if part of one.
5***** I loved this book. I found little to no issues with it at all. I will probably reread this and possibly more than once. I will definitely finish the series if it's part of one.

ENGLISH:

For the first time, it seems there is no murder and that is a great cause for celebration. But then Juliette finds a mysterious letter on Samuel's door and he immediately recognizes it. It's a message that he has received before, so Samuel knows perfectly well what creature it is and also that a new death has occurred. It only remains to find the victim... and the identity of the creature that has been playing with Samuel all this time.

Thank you so much to the author for the book!
I received this ebook in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the interactions between the characters throughout this book, the meetings between friends, the couples interactions, in the midst of conflict, confusion and a lot of drama. Juliette is very confused about her feelings because she really likes Luca, but she also begins to have feelings for Samuel and doesn't know how to process that. Luca is sweet and really perfect, but in this book he also struck me as too overprotective and that really bothered me. Instead, Samuel trusts in Juliette's abilities and because of that (among other things) he is my favorite. And I loved seeing him a little tipsy, it was a lot of fun. I loved the interactions between him and Juliette, they left me fangirling. I also loved the relationship between Dylan and Aaron, they are so cute together.

I really liked this book, it's my favorite in the series. It had some beautiful scenes and really shocking parts, with some unexpected revelations that changed everything and broke my heart. Plus, it had an action-packed fight full of adrenaline, with a really exciting ending. I found this particular case very interesting as well as all the discoveries it revealed. I loved this book, it's definitely a new favorite.

This was a fun one.

A mysterious death, a holiday celebration, lots of new relationships, a new monster.

I liked the mystery in this book, with the letters and handwriting clues. And the ties to the water. I enjoyed the Thanksgiving meal and everyone getting together.

I’m not sure how I feel about this Luca guy with Juliette. And after this book I have Strong feelings about Serena and Samuel. Strong.

In all, this is one of my favorite, maybe my favorite, Circus of the Dead Chronicles book.

People are still dying on Madeline Island, but Juliette and Samuel are both possibly finding true love. How can they reconcile their feelings with the bad things going on around them?

When a group of Juliette's yoga students are involved in a shipwreck, Samuel reveals that he thinks a siren is at work. How does he know? Because he has been receiving mysterious love letters since he arrived on the Island.

Juliette is determined to do more to solve this case and soon finds herself the target of the Monster. Who is behind these deaths? Or, are they truly just accidents?

"We make a good team, Juliette." Samuel seems to be relaxing and starting to become the better person that he claims he wants to be. But, will he be able to find the killer? Will he find true love? Stay tuned to the next episode to find out!

If your on a boat carry earplugs

I had 3 people I thought could be the siren. You really through quite the twist to the plot with the revelation about the handwriting. I knew Aaron & Dylan were going to hook up. I love how Juliette & Samuel are getting closer together. Juliette doesn't even flinch as much or think about how badly she treated him. I am really excited to see her and Mason getting along. I almost cried when he ran to hug her after he changed back to a human. I totally see Juliette falling for Samuel. I think he has underlying feelings for her that he hasn't acknowledged. I mean kissing her cheek, when she has a boyfriend. That's very bold of him.

I love how this feels more like a cozy mystery than the darker feel of the original series. I still can't stop turning the pages as much as the original, but this series gives me a happier calmer feeling. The mystery of the letters in this book is really good and I love how it is not an obvious clue. Juliette getting to be the one doing the saving and the solving is awesome. I love that she's shown as a strong capable woman who knows what she can and can't handle. Plus it's awesome a mere mortal gets to be the one to help an immortal being. I can't wait to read the next book and find out more of the mystery of the island.

Totally commend this author for making each and every book so intriguing. The thread for this episode is the mysterious siren. How do you overcome something like that? Sure, you instinctually think earplugs, but the manipulation can be much more than just the token song. Needless to say, even amidst the ever present dangers, normal life ups and downs also stops for no one, not even a supernatural threat. Love getting blindsided and/or hung off cliffs. Cant wait for next! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.

When one of her students crashed her boat and die, there was something strange related to letters and sirens. Samuel was enjoying his relationship with Juliette’s yoga mentor and seemed things were going forth. Dating Luca but confused with her reactions toward Samuel, Juliette needed to keep her mind busy researching and connecting dots and suddenly, she was aware where the real threat was. Took me by surprise! Like Juliette’s character. She is getting better each time, witty, smart, quick thinker and ready for the action.

The chronicles continue and this time it’s getting personal. Samuel is receiving love letters that coincide with shipwrecks in the local cove, could they be linked and can Juliette figure out who this months monster is before it’s too late?
Secrets are revealed and the aftermath is sure to send shockwaves through the island.

This is book 5 in a series and not to be read as a standalone. These books are short enough to be read in one sitting and are action packed from start to finish.

This was the first book in these chronicles that really surprised me, I had no clue who the siren was going to be but I definitely wasn't even considering Serena, the nice, mellow yoga teacher who was a friend and mentor to Juliet. Poor Juliet had to kill her to save Samuel, I'm curious what is going to happen next. Serena had a larger party in the series and her disappearance is going to cause some issues.

More intense action in this one! There is a siren aiming to kill people and Samuel and Juliette must stop her.

That was a twist I was not ready for! I am insanely heartbroken and really hoping that everything gets resolved soon.

I love these! This shorter, serial format is super fun. Like little bites of books. I get a new monster, a new personal issue, some romantic tension, some resolution, and an intro to the next problem. I like checking the off on Goodreads. It's akin to checking off my to-do list. Very rewarding. Highly recommend. This one was fantastic!!

I knew it!!! From the very first moment Serena came into the picture something seemed off about her and she was too perfect to be that good. I was waiting for her true colours to come out but I did not think that's what she was! Wow this story just keeps spinning and morphing into unexpected things. I love the variety so much. Next please!

Juliette and Samuel are on the hunt for the most deadliest monster they've hunted yet. This one is beyond conniving and will lure them in like no other. Things are getting pretty intense on their little island. I just adore this series. I volunteered to read this book.
