It's been a while since the previous series (Wolfe's Creek), but we finally found out what happened to Turner and his mate. Even though this was sort of a spin-off of Wolfe Creek series, it could be read as stand-alone. Just like Wolfe's creek series, the White Wolf series revolved around a one-mate universe. It was still all about alpha shifter finding his one true mate. And since he was one tough alpha, he's the only shifter in his pack with a human mate.
The story was CM Steele romancing style. Meet, claim, bit trouble, and HEA. The H was all alpha, provider, and protector. While here, the h was badass law enforcement with a sweet and humbling heart. A good matching, if you ask me.

Fun shifter romance, fast paced and couple focused. That is one of the things I enjoy about Ms Steele's books is that the couple is very focused on each other, even when they aren't fated mates. Turner is the Alpha and he is as strong as you would expect. What I loved was that his mate Maria is as well. She is a cop, how cool is that?! She has a way with people and she is confident in herself and her abilities. A power couple for sure, talk about made for each other. I love how the shifter mindset is portrayed as different from the humans, not telling us but showing it. They are so family focused and determined to protect the pack no matter what. And as this was the start of a series, there are more stories to look forward to, yay!

AMAZING AND HOT
Having been a huge fan of the Wolfe Creek series, I was really looking forward to this soon-off and CM Steele DID NOT disappoint!!! Turner is the perfect mix of newly mated wolf and Alpha. He knows his mate on sight and falls completely at her feet. Maria is the perfect match for her Alpha mate; strong and feisty without loosing her femininity. She tempers his sometimes over-possessiveness and temper and he treats her like a queen. Looking forward to more from the White Wolf Ridge wolves.

Great spinoff!
This was excellent! I love that we got to revisit past characters. This was an amazing beginning to the new spin off series. Love true fated mates, and it will be fun to see what happens with some of the new introduced characters. I hope Max's story doesn't hurt our hearts, he seems hellbent against having a mate chosen for him, hope he doesn't do something stupid. Loved this story, it was the perfect insta, the mating was insta and the story was well drawn out afterwards. I like it when they go through things together from the start, rather than have all the drama keeping them apart til the end. Lots of Love❤ & Lots of heat🔥

Turner a wolf alpha has been dreaming of a woman for months now, they are intense erotic dreams and he’s tired and cranky from lack of sleep. Maria a human has been having the same dreams and doesn’t know why. She’s a deputy in Wolfe Creek, Turner lives in White Wolf Ridge. The two meet when a Wolfe Creek pack member kisses Turner’s younger sister. Maria sensing something supernatural is going on in town follows her boss and the lodge owner, who is the alpha, to their meeting. The two see each other and instantly recognize each other from their dreams. He takes her immediately to the town lodge and explains shifters to her and they mate. They return to White Wolf Ridge where there is drama with the chief of police, a human, and Turner’s human receptionist. His sister gets shot by the crazy receptionist, who Maria kills after she shifts into a wolf. Turner shots the chief after he tries to kill Maria. Epilogue with them married with two pups.
This is a spin-off series, I felt a little lost while reading because characters were thrown in with out really introducing them. Liked the dreaming of each other and their mind link.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Turner is the first book in the ‘’white wolf ridge’’ series. This story is short; slightly slow paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Josiah is a busy businessman and alpha of a wolf pack. For just under six months he has been having dreams of his mate. Maria is a police officer that is not aware of shifters among her. When she meets Josiah will she give love a chance or will she run?
The chemistry between Josiah and Maria is clear to see and I liked them together.
It was nice to see from characters from the other shifter series like Hunter and Erik.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Holy heck the wolves are back 😍😍😍 Fated mates DV and a whole lot of steam and action. Turner found his way to Wolf's Creek to straighten something out.... but boy did he find his mate.😍😍😍 J/P obssessed and with just eyes for his woman. Maria found her mate and nothing could stop him from claiming her.👍👍👍 Great start of a new series with great and interesting new characters and beloved old ones from Wolfs Creek. Can't wait for the next book in this series 😍😍😍😍

Nice story about the love of Turner and Maria. Mating to a human is not what Turner expects. Maria is happy to have found the love of her life. I’m looking forward to the other stories in this series. We get a good glimpse into a couple of characters future stories. HEA.

Entertaining
While I did find this book very entertaining, it did start out a little rough to me. The reason for that was that the POV seemed to shift randomly and in a way that could be rather confusing. But overall the book was good. It had good characters, lots of action, more than enough steam and a great HEA.

It was a good read.. was waiting for Turner's book after reading about him in the Wolfe creek series.

Excellent read
OMG, what a great story. It captured your attention from the start and never let go. A fabulous plot with beautiful characters and intriguing dialogues. An excellent job by the author. I will highly recommend this book.
