A Lynching: Justice on the open range

Rate this book
The spring of 1889 brought hope for a bright future as Wyoming prepared to become the 44th State of the Union. In the land where God’s own majestic beauty coexisted with the untamed spirits, anything was possible. Morgan Sandburg teamed with Russel Potter and Rudy Hatch to explore the wonders of Yellowstone. All the while, the range detectives abused their authority as they cleansed the land of squatters. The Tales of Wyoming are a collection of interconnected short stories of the Old West. Each story is a standalone adventure. A Lynching builds upon the characters and relationships created in the other stories.

When the open range became much less open and people were to keep their cattle penned in with fences, it became a chance for many to be accused of being cattle rustlers but can those in charge be trusted with making sure all the cattle markings are above board or will they simply decide things based on their own interests?

This short story from S.M. Revolinski continues with the tales from Wyoming and focuses on a lynching based around the changes happening on the open range, it is well written and is a good story with the small markdown for editing.

Really Good Series

The 11th book in the series isn't among my favorites but was still an enjoyable read. I've not been disappointed in following the stories of Morgan and Abigail through their experiences.
