Cute short, Samantha is moving into her new home, the movers are trying to exhort more money from her. Luckily her new neighbor, Blake a police officer. When he asks what’s wrong, poor Sami at the end of her rope blurts out that her husband of over 20 years cheated on her and she lost the house in the divorce and now the movers are shaking her down. He makes the movers empty the truck and put all her furniture where it needs to go. He then invites her to dinner. He’s been calling her Little girl and she questions him about it. Especially since she’s older than him. He explains he’s a Daddy looking for his Little Girl and Sami is that girl. She’s read all about Littles but didn’t believe people really lived like that. She’s apprehensive but decides to trust him and they start a relationship, but when she sasses him and he spanks her she bolts. A few days go by before she realizes he really does care and she goes over with their rules written on pretty paper. He comes home and they talk. All is forgiven and he tells her he loves her. He introduces her to his captain’s Little so that she now has a friend.

In Pepper North fashion, she's given us a very relatable scenario about Samantha, aka Sami, who is just moving into the duplex, and Blake, the cop next door. This is an instant attraction with all the insecurities of someone new to the Daddy/little girl lifestyle. Oh, and then throw in an age difference and the storyline kept me fascinated. It did my heart good to realize you're never too old for the first time.
Can't tell you why I feel the draw to these stories, but how can you not help but love a daddy that protects you from the bad things and people in the world. Love how they seem to just care without much effort on their part.
The Little in the story has to adapt to her new life and you can see her struggles and feel like you are right there with her.
Samantha is starting over not by choice but because she was forced to sell her home after her husband cheated on her & filed for divorce. Now at her new home movers are trying to extort more money from her to bring her remaining belongings into her house. They are threatening to hold her belongings until her neighbor Blake comes up behind her asking what the problem is; the movers back down when they realize Blake is a cop.

Samantha, aka Sami, lost it all pretty much. Divorced and losing her house she is moving into a duplex. The movers are giving her trouble. Blake, who is her neighbor evidently, steps in on her behalf. He thinks he's found the one. Find out how it all turns out. Nice, quick read.
°Non virgin MCs °Switching POVs °Dd/lg °He's in his early 30's, she's in her 40's °Alpha hero °No cheating °Divorced heroine - she was married for 22 years °Hero's past wasn't mentioned but he didn't seem to be a manwhore °Free of OW/OM drama °Short separation - both celibate °Pushing away from the heroine °No intimate scenes with OP °No epilogue/HFN :(
Samantha was moving into her new duplex after her divorce, when a police office walks up to see if she was having a problem with the movers. His name is Blake and he lives on the other side of duplex and he is a Daddy. Now you will have to read this to see if or how they get together. Enjoy
I loved this story, Sam I is very sweet. She was a very lucky little girl to find her Daddy. I loved that she is an older little and even older than her Daddy.
Another great story from Pepper North. These stories relieve my stress, from my chemo and my husbands Parkinson's. Thank you Pepper for all the great stories.
