Super Steamy, Yes. A few editing errors but overall well written.
So, my problem is these are listed as 'Dark Mafia' on kindle and I went into this series expecting that. Which goes to show that when your expecting a certain element in a book and that book does Not have that element, it greatly hinders your enjoyment of said book.

This is NOT Dark in any way. At All.
What it is is a very Erotic Romance. The main male characters are a part of a mafia family, but the stories themselves are not dark. I think if you read these with that in mind, knowing your going to get a Super Steamy Erotic Romance, you will enjoy them more than I did.

I do plan on continuing this series, but with a completely different mind set.

Oh, and there is some 'Sappy' dialogue. So really these have a 'Sweet' flavor to them.

Just remember, they are Erotica, Not Dark Erotica!

This was pretty fast pace book and i love this series lol even when i went out of order!!

We met Corey in the last book i was sorta interested in this one since Corey crappy ass dad is a crooked FBI agent and i knew it was trouble since Stefano and the family are well a mob family.. and this didn't disappoint!!

Corey was sassy, stubborn and gave Stef a run for his money.. but a mistake has her in Stef bed tied up and sorta kidnapped since she witness him kill a person which was Stef fault lol for bring her into a casino game lol.. as for Stefano lord he was stubborn, bossy and protective of his girl even when she told him about her father he did make a mistake and didn't trust her or his gut that she was innocent and didn't have nothing to do with the guy.. but that didnt stop Corey for showing Stef she was always on his side.

A good mafia romance read.

Pretty good. Strong heroine who doesn’t want to be in love. Alpha hero with a good side who doesn’t want to be in love. Yeah you can do that math all in your own. This was a good mafia romance read.

The beginning of this book was great but lost me a bit after the sexual relationship between the MCs started. The multiple flash-forwards left out the important time of them developing their relationship, and thus it felt as if they went straight from f*ck buddies to "dating", although I use that term loosely. I say that because except for the last 10%, their relationship seemed to just revolve around sex. The dramatic ending with Corey's father just made me roll my eyes because it was pretty cheesy and cliche. This can be read as a standalone and reading the first book is not necessary, although it will help you understand the Tacone family better.

In the last book Nico was going crazy trying to handle everything to do with the casino and have a girlfriend but there wasn't enough hours in the day so he called little brother Stefano to help. Stefano has a lot on his plate with Nico gone with business but one little red head card dealer has his attention.

Corey is the cousin of Nico's girlfriend and has worked at the casino dealing cards for a while. She is smart but doesn't seem to believe it. The daughter of a crooked FBI man who cheated on her Mother and put them down all the time it's kinda all she knows.

Stefano has plans for Corey to rise up in the casino but one little mishap has him locking her up in his room. Is he protecting her from turning him in or trying to keep her for himself?

This is the second book in the Vegas Underground series featuring Mafia Romance. It is another stand alone story but believe me, you will enjoy reading the first book, as well! Renee Rose is a wonderful author, her characters come to life - the reader can easily connect and relate to them and the story is well developed with meaning and substance.
This story features Stefano, Nico Tacone’s younger brother, who is a HOT, Alpha male with lots of kink, a bad boy who isn’t looking to settle down. Enter, Corey who works at the Casino, smart, sassy but isn’t looking for a relationship since they have all ended in disaster. Yes, we know that once they meet the sparks fly and the air is filled with electricity. But, Corey’s father is an FBI agent, ummm how does one introduce him to a Mafia boyfriend, even it he is a crooked FBI agent? And Stephano’s family doesn’t always except outsiders. Renee Rose doesn’t make it easy or possible, maybe they can’t overcome their inner problems and family matters. The plot continues to intrigue, we are immersed as the suspense, mystery, danger, romance, hot, sexy scenes entertain us and make for a VERY enjoyable read! Thank you, Renee Rose for another amazing story!

I loved the sparkling chemistry between Corey and Stefano. They were so made for each other❤️

Being an alpha, Stefano definitely did a number on me by giving some decision making power to Corey.
Fighting the past, living on her own, not relying on others Corey is an image of a typical strong woman. But when she met an alpha she learnt to share the control which is mesmerizing.

So far the series is pretty enthralling. See what happens ahed😉

Jack of Spades is the second book in the Vegas Underground series. Picking up right where King of Diamonds ends, Corey is busy working in the Bellissimo when the new Head of Security, Stefano, has a new job for her - dealing for the private parties. But her first night goes completely wrong and Stefano takes her as his captive. Their passion is completely hot and mutual, but neither are committed to each other. The best laid plans always go wrong and just as they begin to open up and trust each other, a figure from her past blasts their security to pieces. Can Stefano ever trust Corey again, and will she ever be willing to go back to him?

Holy smokes, set me on fire, because that would probably be cooler than some of the passion I felt from this book! Corey and Stefano had this amazing chemistry that they knew how to push all of their buttons, add in sass, show vulnerability, listening to and generally being fascinated by each other... the list doesn’t end just like I wish this book had never ended. Corey was so hurt from her past, so I loved watching her blossom and break open some of her shell just for Stefano. I loved the vibes she got from gambling, too! Stefano was definitely the heart thief in this book, though, as he stole mine. I loved how dominant and cocky he was, but I also love how he would listen to Corey and made her dreams possible! I totally swooned over his character in this book and he may be my new book boyfriend right now. Together, they were just dynamite. Loved this book! Love this series! I’m so excited for the next one already, but I may have to go back and reread this one ASAP!

In book two of this series, we get Stefano and Corey's story. I think I like this one better than the first book. It's hot, it's steamy and I love it that Corey is a kick a** woman who can take care of herself but when it comes to Stefano, she needs him like she needs air to breathe. Corey works in the casino owned by Stefano's family. He's head of security and wants her from the first minute he sees her. When things go bad in a private game she is working, Stefano must take her into hiding to keep her safe and assure his family that she won't say anything. The relationship takes off from there. Throw in Corey's "dirty" FBI agent dad and you have misunderstandings out of the roof. Will Stefano realize the mistakes he's made and find Corey or will she be lost to him forever.

This book is one of the best I've read from Renee Rose. It's dark, it's gritty and it's so hot, you need a fan and some ice water nearby! I HIGHLY recommend this book.

The second book in the Vega Underground series and it features Stefano, who is Nico´s younger brother and Corey, who is Sondra´s cousin.

I loved reading about the interaction between Stefano and Corey. There is an instant spark between them, but also mistrust. I loved seeing them dance around each other and getting to know each other. Finding out their hopes and dreams and flowing building more then just lust. The characters were layered and complex., which made for a wonderful read.

It is an action packed, well written, emotional book with plenty of scene that will steam up your kindle

Good read, lots of sex, too much spanking. I am not up for all that, thus no five stars. The mafia part was good. It kinda of wrapped up fast at the end. The dad just didn’t seem scary enough...Stefano was dumb.

Some authors you'll remember their books because their stories were interesting. Others, you'll remember after thinking for a few minutes, trying to figure out what the storyline was all about. And then there are some books where you simply go... holy. Shit. Renee Rose is the latter. Every time i pick up her books, i never know what to expect. I mean, i now that i'll be reading a BDSM genre novel, but what will happen to her storyline? A complete surprise, each and every time.

I mean, i try to figure it out, but in the end, it's always a new surprise. Jack Of Spades is no exception. I had read the previous book in the series and absolutely fell in love with how dark this author went with her story line, making no excuses for her strong, dominant men who were raised with a fist in the gut and a gun in the hand. Quite honestly, i love reading that type of novel, of characters because that's when you realize that life isn't always unicorns and rainbows. Sometimes it's dark, gritty and so very unapologetic in what they want, need and will have.

I fell in love with these characters because on their own, they are strong and independent, but together, they are something to behold. They were absolutely fascinating. How Corey took on this dominant persona when she works, but when she's with Stefano, there's something with him that makes her bigger than that persona. And it has nothing to do with her submissive nature, but rather with how he makes her stronger and feeds off of it.

I absolutely loved this book. Loved the characters. The dark nature of the story, but especially, the way that this author developed her story. I'm looking forward to finding out if we'll get a chance to read more of this series in the future.

You had me at "the Henry Cavill good looks"!!!

Whew! Another spankalicious steamy mafia romance from one of my favorite authors! Corey's cousin is marrying Stefano's brother, so it didn't take long for them to cross paths. Add in the fact that he's the new head of security at his brother's casino where Corey is one of their best dealers, and the stage is set for a truly epic romance!

Stefano recruits Corey to deal a private game, one that quickly gets out of hand and turns into chaos. Now, Stefano has "family"-related problems to deal with, and he doesn't know Corey well enough - yet! - to know if he can trust her. But, oh boy, that is a short-lived problem. Stefano doesn't even waste a second making Corey his in every way possible, whether she's ready for the inevitable or not.

By the time Corey catches her breath and feels like she's back on her own two feet, in swoops her dear old dad, a man far more corrupt than any in the Tacone Family. Sh...tuff gets real, real quick, and it's a nail-biting, heart-pumping ride through to the oh-so-sweet HEA.

There's plenty of action in this story, including a destination wedding and a championship poker game, a couple shoot-outs and more than a few spankings, a whole new use for stockings and more chemistry than the science lab at MIT! This story is even hotter than the first book, if that's even possible. Stefano and Corey are fireworks personified, and it was so much fun to read their story. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Plays Her Like A Virtuoso

Oh if only we could give this well deserved mafia romance by the inimitable Renee Rose the well deserved 10 ⭐️ it warrants! I thought the first book in the Vegas Underground series was amazing but this one was superb from start to finish. I can’t wait for the 3rd book in the series Ace of Hearts! I just cannot get enough of Ms Rose’s magnificent reads!
Fantastic well written storyline that’s gripping that I simply had to read in one sitting. I highly recommend this as a one-click you must read ASAP!
The hot, naughty, oh so hunky suited Stefano Tacone blew me away from the outset. The Tacone Chicago Crime family own Bellissimo, a high class gambling joint in Vegas. Corey Simonson is a roulette croupier at Bellissimo and recognises Stefano’s type, he’s a player, somebody she will never mess with! Stefano is the new Head of Security and wants her to deal in the private games upstairs! Will she be safe? Is it illegal? Can she refuse what the crime family ask of her? Corey has a good eye for a rat and dirty deals but will it help her? Will Stefano kill her for the murder she witnessed? Is she so lost in him and can she find her way back? Will Stefano find out about her father? Both are lost to the forces that brought them together but the gap between them widens every day!

Corey likes her job at Bellissimo and doesn’t plan to screw it up. Nico is the owner and is seeing her cousin Sondra. But when a jerk of a guy tries to cheat at her table, she isn’t having it. Stefano is security for the Bellissimo. He just happens to be sitting at Corey’s table. She thinks he’s a cheat but he is only making sure that she is on the up an up. These to meet with a slap and dirty talking and hot sex along with a spanking or two make this a steamy ride.

First off, make sure you read “King of Diamonds first.” This will put you into the frame of mind for this story. It all goes together. Stefano is the younger brother of Nico. He is as hot and as much of an Alpha as Nico. You have to love these brothers. They want to stay away from their family ties and be legit. But they love and make love intensely. Corey and Stefano are equal in passion. Her father is the biggest pain. I was in tears when he showed up. Things did turn out but UGH, if her dad just stayed gone. Now we have a new book to look forward to, “Ace of Hearts.”

This is the second book in the Mafia Romance series and it revolves around Stefano, younger brother of Nico, and Corey, one of the house dealers. He meets Corey when he plays at her table and tries to bribe her to cheat for him, she calls security and he is escorted out. Later she is introduced to Stefano, who is now head of security and he is instantly smitten with her. At a high stakes game, where she is the dealer, one of the players draws a gun and Stefano kills him. From then on he keeps her by his side, trying to figure out what to do with her and from here the bond between them grows. There is a lot of drama in this story which includes Corey’s FBI dad, blackmail, mild BDSM and more. The story is a great read and worth reading. I would highly recommend this book and you will not be disappointed.

What happens in Vegas definitely stays in Vegas.
Especially when the Bad Boy falling for the sumptuous dealer is the part owner of the Casino she works in.
When she is in the wrong place at the wrong time, witnessing a crime being committed and could be a danger to the charming Italian Mafioso, he simply locks her away in his bedroom. And there she stays until, when he finally lets her go, she is not at all sure if she wants to leave.
When it seems that this relationship is well on it's way to a happy end, a corrupt agent manages to destroy their trust in each other and a confrontation ends in disaster.
I'm not telling any more!!!
Just this much: fire extinguishers may be needed!

I don't normally read mob books but this one wasn't too bad. Stefano and Corey had a strong attraction and generated a load of heat.

I liked this book better than the first book, King of Diamonds because Corey was kicka$$. Although she succumbed to Stefano's charms, she was strong, tough, and could hold her own.

This is a standalone book. You could easily read this and go back to read King of Diamonds. If you prefer to read in sequence, read book 1 first and it will give you more background into this book, Jack of Spades.

OMG!!!! Peeps!!!! King of Diamonds set this series off but Jack Of Spades lit the trail!!!! This hot morsel features Nico Tacone's little brother Stefano. He is hot. A true Mafioso. With a hella lot of kink. He is a bad boy who wasn't in search of a good girl. He meets Corey and all bets are off. He finds her intriguing and it was something about her that made him want to go ALL IN. This story is hot with a super speedy hot storyline. This is the story to read if you want Kink, a bad a$$ Mafia guy, and a true queen of spades. The best story to follow up King of Diamonds.

High-stakes game...

This is the second book in this series and what a series it has been so far. This book centers around Stefano and Corey. Stefano is the younger brother of Nico from "King of Diamonds". When Stefano and Corey meet, sparks fly and the chemistry is HOT! A high-stakes game ends in gunfire which leads to the two spending lots of time together. Of course there's kink involved...it is written by Ms. Rose after all. I would definitely suggest this book to my friends.

I flove this series. It's hot, dangerous, and enthralling. Corey tries to smack, knee, and bite Stephano, and it makes him all the hotter for her. Lol. I liked watching how far Corey and Stephano would go (and to what lengths) for their love. They made fireworks look tame. That's how combustible these two were. Stephano does nothing in halves- he's over the top start to finish. I was quickly immersed in this captivating love story. I can't wait for the next book.

This is definitely a 5+ star kind of book. The high intensity romance is off the charts hot. Throw in family drama with a mix of mob bosses and a crooked FBI agent and it just adds to the ride. The characters are super likeable, the writing original, and I absolutely loved the dialogue. I read alot and find it hard to pick favorites, but Renee Rose is definitely becoming a favorite author for me.

I LOVE this series! What’s not to love about a super sexy, alpha man with a hint of danger?! This book builds from the second but could be read standalone. It definitely has the action and danger. It is super sexy. I adore the relationship between Corey and Stefano. There is push and pull that Ms. Renee is so good at and we get to know both characters and their motivations. I cannot wait for the next one! Five sexy stars!!

Corey witnesses a murder and ends up Stefano's captive. Quick, dirty, hot sex follows but will real feelings and complications get in the way? I enjoyed this steamy tale.
