Bruce Connelly, Robin Moon, Ross Steven Pickering, Mark Hayes and Joseph Carrabis, with a foreword from Harvey regular Andy Hill. Edited by C.G. Hatton. “Highly recommended… a great collection of weird tales!”
An entertaining mix of science fiction, fantasy, horror and steampunk short stories. It even included a couple of flash fiction stories, this time. I liked some stories more than others but that's always the way with an anthology.
With each volume adds more authors to the Harvey Duckman Guild of writers and each story chosen to be included in this amazing compilation continues to impress. I often find in these stories that I am left wanting more and regularly I find a new author within these pages that impresses me and from whome I wish to read more. Volume 7 does not disappoint. The regular Peter James Martin story of Brennan and his Rat friend Riz made me laugh as alway, the stories by the newcomers Tamara Clelford and Dominic JP Nelson-Ashley are simply brilliant. Mark Hayes is magnificent as always and I always love a SimCavalier story written by Kate Baucherel. The cherry on top was the story of the Little Knitty Dragon by Joseph Carrabis which just blew me away. I could go on and describe all my experiences with these wonderful stories but I'll simply say read it yourself, you will not be dissapointed.
