This installment definitely had more adventure, but it was a little all over the place. The timeline felt rushed and sporadic, leaving some things left unanswered/incomplete. I’m also disappointed in Vivilyn’s character growth. She has the gift of Sight and yet she’s blind to things happening right in front of her. I want strong, determined, confident. Not oblivious and forgetful. There were quite a few editing errors in this book that I couldn’t help but notice.

I cannot wait for book 9! I love the epilogue, it lets me know more about a certain someone and gives me hopes that I will see more from that character later on! I read this book the quickest out of them all, definitely a page turner!
