Ellen lives in a small town in New England, between the Atlantic Ocean and the White Mountains. She lives with her husband, two sons, and one very spoiled puppy princess.
Ellen writes in the early morning hours before her family wakes up. When she's not writing, you can find her spending time with her family, gardening with her puppy and chickens, or headed to the beach. She loves summer and flip-flops, running on a dirt country road, and a sweet love song.
All of her stories are clean romances where families are close, neighbors are nosy, and the couples are destined for each other.

I truly enjoy clean romance stories and Ellen Joy doesn't disappoint her readers. Each story is unique and interesting on its on merit. Although I like how they relate and join together.
Which is exactly what the MC does in the first book, I thought maybe I skimmed over him breaking up with with his girlfriend of 2 years when he went back to the inn and starting acting like a family but nope. Its mentioned before he forgot about her but that cheapened his relationship with the fmc knowing he didn't even bother to break up with her AND she didn't ask, I couldn't read anymore.
This was a great set of books for me. I love reading about life in a small town and following a family through the series. As I finished one I couldn't wait to start the next to see what happens to the characters. I'll definitely read this author again. Her books are like a good movie that your enjoying so much you don't want it to end.
I unfortunately did not get to read the entire series, I only read half the book before Amazon Kindle took the book back. I would love to finish this book, but will have to wait until I can find the book again. I was really enjoying the story when Amazon Kindle wants to charge me 12.00 a month, that is crazy.
I enjoyed how each of the 5 books came together as one story. Each set of characters having their own happy ending. I will definitely recommend this read to others.
Really great books couldn’t put the books down-such a beautiful ending every book had a happy ending. So glad I found this author “Allen Joy” she writes happy up lifting stories!
Really liked the characters, well-written plots, didn’t want to put the books down. So glad I found this author, I’m excited to check out the next series!:)
I enjoyed the series. I wanted to visit all the places from the books. I even found myself googling Camden Cove. It’s so funny because one day, a new customer pulls in the parking lot in front of my farm store and has a tag from Maine. He had just bought a home nearby & we chatted for a while as he shared some of his life, working in Portland and surrounding areas.
Each book, you feel like you know the characters and I did laugh out loud a few times. I also found myself having to close the book and cry during a particular event in “The Farmhouse by the Cove”.
This was the first time reading anything by Ellen Joy. As a matter of fact, I hadn’t read any books in quite some time before getting into this series. As soon as I finished the Camden Cove series, I immediately started on the Prairie Valley Sisters series.
I recommend this book series if you like small town settings, romance, some drama, real life situations and clean stories.
