Well, Angela you have done it once more, kept the story rolling, kept the suspense coming, and added a few tricks along the way. I really, really enjoyed this one quite a lot. Many will disagree with me, but this one was not full of sex scenes, and that pleased me immensely. Being 73 yrs. old, and having been there and done that, needless to say with age that sort of goes by the way. The action and adventure of this LAW #16 was just one big boom after another, as you did not give away what the Eagles were up to, or their assignments to protect themselves actually entailed. Brava for a wonderful book. Destiny was faced and used up many lives, including some major characters. The one I am thinking of, I won't miss, however, she had problems from the beginning of the series, I think with all that she was mentally damaged. Now gang, we wait for LAW #17, lets all do the hurry up and wait dance, shall we? I always try to wait for awhile before I read the newest addition, then try to savor the story over several days..................yeah, that works, ha ha.

For new readers you can know that Angela White is way high on the list of best writers. Her writing puts me a different world. Her books are very long and so you get a real look at the characters. The plot is very good and reading this book made me feel like I was in the book. Strange huh. I just can tell you that there is good action and this book uses a little more of the characters strange abilities. There is one battle that is the one to determine the outcome of the world. Jeez, you just have to know that it is some super writing, characters and plot. You will not want to stop reading but the book is the size of some writers sets. I won't try to tell you more about the plot of the book and I will not want to give away the suspense.

Exceptional series! I was hooked buy the middle of book one. WWIII, NUCLEAR WAR, SURVIVAL, and EXCEPTIONAL CHARACTERS/PLOTS. Just some of the things this series has to offer. Witches,Demons,Mother Nature and more. Angela, Mark, Adrian and many more come to life in these pages. I love a good series and this is an exceptional one. I read all 16 books one after the other every night since November 1st. I do not read science fiction this is different. This is even a love story. What can I say, I do not like spoilers. I like KILL THEM ALL AND LET GOD SORT EM OUT

This was another huge instalment of this epic post-apocalyptic series, where Angela faces major dilemmas, choices and decisions. I think she is the strongest character despite the powers. The men have fragile egos and continue to undervalue women. The children are intriguing.

There are battles - it's disturbing to think that with so few left that the fighting continues; that greed for power, ugh.

Well-written and detailed with thoughts, feelings and a great sense of place. I like that the story switches points of view.

These just keep getting better. This is another fast paced face off between Safe Haven and the UN. Paradise is not all its cracked up to be and the thought of three years of peace is not making everyone happy
Before that happens though there is another fight with the UN , people are evolving, and not everyone who claims they are a friend is telling the truth.
If you have made it this far in the series you will stay up way too late reading the latest in Safe Haven drama.

Fabulous book but the sides of good and evil keep changing!

Peace never stays long but it has moment to exist.... but even as it does and people try to enjoy a tropical island without threats and wars every minute, new plots are hatched and good and evil are not so easily defined or labeled. I keep waiting to be tired or bored with this series.... Am beginning to think it may never happen!

Sad I Read It So Fast

Because now I have to wait another year for the next installment! As usual, Angela delivers an engaging story that makes you feel as if you are right there with the survivors. For anyone that is looking for adventure, suspense, and a fast paced story with twists and turns throughout, read this series. You will not be disappointed.

This series never ever fails to wrap me up in its life. I get lost in the story and I’m always disappointed when the book comes to an end.
I find my self holding my breath! Crying at times! Other parts make me laugh!

Angela has many stories in the whole story.

I was behind in my Life After War series. So I had some catching up to do. I read books 13-16 in about a week and a half. Now I am stuck waiting for 17 and 18. Lol. So I just started reading book 1 again. I love Angela's books. I am caught up on Alexa's Travels now also. Now waiting for the next book in that series. Thank you Angela for supplying my mind with these pleasures.
