Lauren Perry knew her life was fine. She was married, she was happy, but the loss of her brother made her re-evaluate. She wanted to make sure she did all the things.
Mackenzie Miller knew his life was fine. He was married, he was happy, but there was one thing playing on his mind. He wanted to make sure he wasn’t the only one.
So what happens when you’re content and afraid of becoming complacent?
You make another list, of course.
Except, is Mackenzie’s list unachievable?
The Facilitator, part 3 is told from Mackenzie Miller’s point of view and contains graphic scenes of a sexual nature and is intended for mature audiences.
Tracie Podger currently lives in Kent, UK with her husband and a rather obnoxious cat called George. She’s a Padi Scuba Diving Instructor with a passion for writing. Tracie has been fortunate to have dived some of the wonderful oceans of the world where she can indulge in another hobby, underwater photography. She likes getting up close and personal with sharks.
Book three in the Facilitator trilogy and I am disappointed.
I really enjoyed the first two books however changing the character perspective in book three is a bold move and it's a choice to make the new perspective sound identical to the other character. I was constantly pulled out of this story because Mackenzie sounds identical to Lauren and I had to remind myself all the time that I was in Mackenzie's head, not Lauren's.
Plus the word 'chuckle' really grated on me, a word search on Kindle revealed it appeared 109 times! It felt very overused.
And then the death of a sibling. Having recently lost my younger sister I realise I'm extra sensitive to this but having the death of a sibling or close relative to a main character in a book regardless of genre should be addressed properly. If you want a death in your book but you don't want to show the aftermath or address it at all, kill off your character that lives down the road. There was no impact to the death of the sibling and no need for it to feature.
Overall this was a fail for me.
At the time of posting this trilogy is available on Kindle.
4.5 swoony, steamy stars with lots of emotion and all the feels. And yes Mackenzie Miller is still damn hot in every way, in fact I think he just gets hotter and hotter. Lauren is one lucky lady!
As opposed to the previous two books, this was told from Mackenzie's pov. I loved getting inside his thoughts. His fears, hopes, dreams, insecurities and his deep love and desire for Lauren was wonderful to see and of course, finally we got his list ;-)
I also loved seeing how far Lauren had grown from the shy, lacking in confidence girl in book one to the now confident siren in the bedroom, not afraid to ask for what she wanted and needed. These two seriously set the sheets on fire!
They are now in a solid, very loving relationship, so the dynamics were different from the first book as they now know each other inside and out. This book still moved their relationship forward though as they admit the thing they both still need. Written with care and feeling, it covered some sensitive and heartbreaking subjects. It was moving, there was lots of emotion, hurt and loss, but was still infused with drama, a little suspense and humour. Other beloved characters, in particular Alex and Gabriella made a welcome appearance and of course there was a lot of steamy hot action (and not just in the bedroom).
I've loved the journey both mentally and sexually Mackenzie and Lauren have been on throughout the three books. This was a fitting and satisfying climax (pun definitely intended) to their erotic love story. I'll always hold onto a bit of hope we'll see them again because phew (fans herself) Mackenzie stole a little piece of my heart at the very beginning!
It’s taken me a couple of days to be able to write a review for this book as I have needed time to process this is the last book for Lauren and Mackenzie.
This book was the prefect ending for this couple. We still get the hot and streamy parts we come to expect from these books as well as the ups and downs they go thought and this book ties up the series perfectly (I know I keep using prefect but it the only word I can think to use for this book).
We also get to see what was on Mackenzie list.
Although this is the end of the series I am holding out hope the couple may get a steamy novella at some point in the future.
The third and last part of The facilitator trilogy brings more on the table that I thought I knew. There’s not even a boring moment when life settles down with these two and you think they will carry on with their happily ever after after reading the second book. I loved this one much more, because it’s very rare that we get to read books after they get married and I loved how the author has brought up a new challenge for both of them to get over and tick it off that list. If you’re looking for a great steamy romance story, check this trilogy out and you won’t be disappointed.
The Facilitator, part 3 is the concluding part of this series, I promise ;) I want to give a little heads up, though. Some of you are reading part 1 and loving it, so I wanted to remind you that come part 2 and 3, this couple is in a committed relationship. The dynamics are different; the storyline is most definitely going to change as we watch these guys develop as a couple <3 I hope that you love his book as much as you did the other two.
An extended epilogue to end the trilogy. IVF story which I enjoyed but some random drama inserted for no benefit and was a bit jarring. Still plenty of spicy scenes!
I've enjoyed the Facilitator series. I'm sad to think that part three may be the final installment, but it is probably the most personal, emotional story of the three books. As always the couple indulge in their sexual fantasies but the ultimate fantasy for Mackenzie is a family with Lauren. When Lauren's brother dies, he realizes that his dream is also hers. This book is a very personal journey for the couple and just when you think things are going smoothly, they aren't. While the sex scenes are hot and steamy, the depth of the couple's relationship is the true draw of this story for me. After his accident as a young man, Mackenzie had been told he'd never have a child, but his relationship with his wife, Lauren, reawakens that yearning for a family with her. Their journey to become a family is filled with ups and downs but their HEA is assured by the end.
I binge read the 3 books (the facilitator part 1. 2 and 3) WOW. I really enjoyed the story and the sexual tension between Macenzie and Lauren. I particularly liked the way the first 2 books were written with Lauren's perspective and book 3 is written as Macenzie's story. I'm love the romance and sexual encounters between the couple also the other factors in the story (kidnap, murder and the extended family and friends) The way it is written makes you get to know the characters and I quite like Mary (she's just like me) Although I wish I was Lauren. Although I feel I need more. Im also please the ending was happy and they were content.
The sexiest, steamiest couple ever are back with a bang (no pun intended). The first two books in this series are narrated by Lauren. This one is narrated by Mackenzie and I enjoyed the different perspective this gave to the books overall. As with the first two books, there is a really good story underneath all the mind blowing sex (I mean, Lauren's orgasms are so intense, she faints!! And God knows how much money that woman spends on underwear), this time it's a sensitive and touching account of devastating loss and Lauren and Mackenzie's journey to parenthood. Very enjoyable.
This is the third book in the series, that must be read in order.
I have loved seeing the final instalment to Lauren and Mackenzie’s story. As expected this has the steam we have had in the previous two books, but this addition showed us Mckenzie’s list.
It was a nice roundup for the series, answering questions I’d had from reading the other two books. I particularly enjoyed seeing Mackenzie’s perspective.
There is potential for this series to go further - but I feel this book completes this couple’s story.
This is the third book in the series and, once again, doesn’t disappoint. This time it is written from McKenzie’s point of view rather than Lauren’s point of view in the first two books. Oh my word, I’m sure every woman wants to be loved as hard as McKenzie loves Lauren! Whilst the sex remains steamy as ever, their relationship has grown and the dynamics are now different. Lauren has grown in confidence, and is no longer afraid to ask for what she wants. McKenzie, as always, is willing to give her everything she wants and more.
Best friends Gabriella and Alex have welcomed their first child into their family and McKenzie and Lauren are now re-evaluating their decisions over their potential journey towards parenthood. This concluding part of their story contains loss, devastation, kidnap, murder and, as usual, plenty of sex. A dramatic yet touching end to this series.
I absolutely loved this series, usually I like my books more dark than fluffy but this series is so much more than the kink between the pages although they are HOT as hell !! In this book we see a softer side to Mackenzie and I just wanted to hug him and tell him everything would be ok . If you haven’t met Mack & Lauren what are you waiting for just make sure you start at book 1 you won’t be disappointed , it’s a must read series
I loved this series. Lauren and Mackenzie are so in sync to what the other needs. It is beautiful thing to read and feel that connection to the character's. I feel this was a perfect ending to complete this series. It was beautifully written and the ending was fantastic. I am sad that there story has come to end but I enjoyed their journey.
Yet again, a brilliant read. Great to hear more from the main characters as their lives develop. I love their extravagant outrageous lives, sitting nearly with their simplistic side. It works so well. I love an erotic tale that also has a storyline that makes me want to read, not just skip forward to the hot sex scenes! Brilliantly done.
Lauren and Mackenzie are back and I so loved hearing all the details in this third and last book in the series from Mackenzie's POV. This sexy loved up couple never fails to deliver the goods when I read about their antics, but this time it is a very emotional personal issue that is close to both of their hearts.
As always the writing was good and flowed well. The sex between these two is entirely something else and is explosive, kinky and downright HOT !! But there is also a really good story running along side as well which I so enjoyed with some action and lots of anticipation too.
I think this book is on par with the first book in my opinion. I've enjoyed the ride with them, experienced the highs and the lows, and I will surely miss them.
I was given a copy to give a fair and honest review.
I absolutely loved this book. After having read the first two books I was curious how this book would compare. It’s brilliant! I have enjoyed how these characters have revolved in each book and Tracie does an excellent job with this book as well.
I highly recommend reading this series and getting to know Mackenzie and Lauren. And if you enjoy a great written hot romance novel this will not let you down. I’m so glad that I purchased a copy as well.
A fine ending to the trilogy. It’s a tale of love, empowerment and ultimately family. There are definitely introductions to concensual more erotic elements of life and that’s part of the empowerment, but ultimately the love of the two main characters carries them through the rough times they face.
This is the long and awaited book three in the series looking at Lauren's and Mackenzie's story.
At long last we finally get to see Mackenzie's list and what he truly desires alongside the expected steam and passion that is never far away with these two.
The big question though can he actually manage to achieve everything together with Lauren and complete the final part to this couples story?
The 3rd addition to this series is narrated by Mackenzie and I think I preferred it that way. He was brutally honest with his feelings and this book was more of a story that just extremely hot sex. We also find our his list. This addiction has heartache pain and laughter.. And as with the others my favourite character so far is Mary. Her voice in my head was real and I laughed out loud at her one liners. Fully reccomend this series
This is the third book in the series and the first told from Mackenzie’s point of view. Absolutely needs an adults only warming! Well written, graphic without being poor taste A good read!
This took me long enough to read. I have had this loaded onto KU for months. Every time I got a chance to sit down and read it, something else got in the way. This book was a wonderful end to this series. MacKenzie and Lauren came into their own in this book. MacKenzie made his list, but was doubtful that it could be fulfilled, and frightened that it might not come true. This book, even more than the first two, showed how incredibly matched the two of them are and Ms. Podger wrote them to show off their personalities. The book is well written and was a perfect conclusion for Lauren and MacKenzie.
Sometimes I feel it is necessary to wonder out loud what reviewers are thinking. One rule of thumb is to never mention other books by other authors when reviewing a book, whether you like the other ones or not. It is an insult to the author that you weren't paying attention to her book. That said, I'm off my soapbox and on to another book!
Having read the previous 2 books in this series I was excited when I saw this one had been released. I loved McKenzie and Lauren and I was looking forward to the same amount of sizzle and steam in this book, unfortunately for me, I was left a little disappointed. This book is told from McKenzies POV, so he asked Lauren for a new ‘list’. Whereas the other books were heavily focussed on these lists, this book didn’t. I think Lauren only had 3 items on her list and they were spread throughout the book. We did get to find out what was on McKenzies list though. I did like the fact that IVF and adoption were written about and how factually correct the author got them. The journey it took them on and how it made them feel and the toll it can have on a couple. For me, I preferred the previous books.
We take up where Lauren and Mackenzie are married and yearn for a child, but after a car accident left M with fertility issues the odds are against it. I didn't expect to cry reading a sexy novel but it was actually quite moving. This is such an unusual book in that, yes it’s a sexy read, but the characters and plot are so well thought out that you really care what happens to them. This third episode really wrapped up the whole trilogy for me – I loved it.
This book gives Mackenzie and Lauren a satisfying conclusion. These books have been interesting when considering the progression of Mackenzie and Lauren’s relationship but in terms of plot, whilst the second and third book were a step up from the first, I haven’t really been that invested in it. There were things about each book that I struggled with which brought me out of an engrossed reading experience but I’m glad Mackenzie and Lauren got the happy ending they deserved.
I truly enjoyed this book being told from Mackerel’s pov. It was a nice change from the previous books. His insight and perspective was an intense and integral to this story. It gave me so much more in understanding him and his feelings. Lauren was as sturdy as ever and going with her through her journey was very emotional and very rewarding. I’m sorry to see this trilogy end. I want more.
The facilitator part 3 by Tracie Podger. O.m.g absolutely brilliant read. I loved MacKenzie and Lauren. I also loved Mary and how she was. Wow the policeman scene. And Mary at the shop omg lol. Omword I loved loved loved it. I wish that wasn't the end because I could read about Lauren and MacKenzie some more. I will miss them. A perfect ending. 5*.
Tracie Podger👏📖🔥🌶❤ !!!! What a scorcher series indeed!!! You bought the romance and hotness in together!!! It's wonderful to see that through out the series their loves stays strong❤💓! What a brilliant series!!!!! Loved and enjoyed reading such a find!!!!
