It is a very short (can be finished in one day) book, but somehow it feels stretched out. All the advise could have been covered in a blog, a short one at that.
It claims to be for South Africans, but then, examples use USD and foreign entrepreneurs as reference. It does not offer advice or mindsets of any of the challenges unique to South Africa.
It feels like a long add for his industry, spending most of the book implying that you should sell your equity to venture capital firms, which makes sense if you realize he owns such a firm.
He regularly, refers to his "poor" upbringing, but went to a prestige and expensive university in the country and did one of the most expensive courses, that alone puts him in the top 2% of South Africans by wealth.
This book feels like a first step in a process, I will not be surprised if he launches an online course or some other scheme after this book, making this book the advertisement flyer for that service.
