Feeling Bleu
The first appearance deceives many and things are not always as they seem. For Bleu Alston, love was nothing more than a four letter word. Being faithful was foreign to her even though she had a man. Rico loved Bleu with his whole heart but the feelings were neither mutual nor reciprocated. He went to the extreme to get and keep her but his all never seemed to be good enough. Although he wasn’t perfect, he felt like he was perfect for her. When both their secrets began to surface, their lives and the lives of those around them will never be the same. When everything starts to unravel, Rico learned the hard way that he wasn’t the only one who was feeling Bleu.

Chenell Parker has flown under my radar but I am so happy I’m on the plane now! She does stand-alones the right way! Her books are long but the are packed with so much detail, so many moving parts and so much drama but everything works together and flows so naturally! Its like watching a good as$ movie! It’s almost difficult to review her books because you want to tell so much but not give anything away! This was my second book by her and I’m currently reading my third. She does not disappoint!
The story primarily centers on Bleu and Diesel aka Swag. They met years ago and it resulted in a one night stand. They vowed to let it be just that to the point where they didn’t share any names or contact info. Well fast forward years later and they meet again when they realize there’s a common denominator in their lives, Bleu’s “boyfriend” and Swags right hand/ best friend since second grade. These two are determined to take their secret to the grave. That is until OTHER secrets come to life that result in the destruction of a few relationships.
When I tell you this story was MESSY… it was MESSY, like an explosive diaper up a baby’s back MESSY 🤣😭.
There were plenty of others in the story that brought this story to life both in a good way and a bad way! If you enjoy and good FULL story jam packed with sex, love, betrayal, lies, deceit and drama then this is the book for you! There are a few 51/50’s in this book too! One day these characters gone learn to stop playing with people feelings. Even though Jason got what he deserved in the end because he should’ve been man enough to take the L, I honestly felt sorry for him. That girl definitely played in his face and thought it was cute until Karma bit her in the as$!

Good ass stand-alone
Omg I just loved this book. I was so in love with Swag 😍😍😍 he was definitely Zaddy lol he is one of my favorite book bae. I was so sad what happened to Royal, that was sick and wrong as hell. I knew Rico was a fuckboy. I’m happy all the snakes got what they deserve. Bleu was made for Swag and Swag was made for her. Lexi was a sad case her mom messed her up. Overall Ms Parker don’t never disappoint I can’t wait until the next one.

As always, this Chenell Parker read was on point and the perfect weekend gem. I love how karma works in all her novels and Feeling Bleu didn’t disappoint. Bleu was a character full of confidence and edgy. Swag was truly what his nickname suggests. It’s no supervised that their union produced sparks ⚡️!

Bleu and her sister Belize were something else and they had those role reversal lol 😂. Lesson learned.
Meet my boy Swag. Loyal to the bone and take no prisoners. He and Bleu connection were surreal and Swag don’t play because he’s a real OG. The things Bleu did in her prior relationships, Swag will not condone at all. He got Bleu acting right even though she is still stubborn to the core.
This book had the drama, loyalty, family unit, betrayal ~~~ you name it and this book had it.
Now I’m a huge huge Boston fan and he has a special place in my heart ❤️, but I was digging Swag confidence all da way! Yeah baby!!

Couldn’t finish
I tried so hard to get through this story but I couldn’t. I really didn’t care about Belize situation, I felt like she bought jay on herself. I pretty much knew that Rico slept with Liberty , I figured she was pregnant by someone else and that was why she wanted an abortion. I really didn’t care for none of the characters I felt like Bleu was nothing, who stays in a relationship they have no ties to for two years? Why did she need a reason to leave other than she just didn’t wanna be with him? Swag was a lot irritating once they got together, he was doing entirely too much. He was more insecure than anything. I wouldn’t consider him an alpha male. I got to the part where bleu killed Jason and after skipping so much already I just gave up. I couldn’t get into the story to save my life.

Bleu and Diesel!
I really enjoyed Bleu and Swag's story! They met years before as a one nightstand not knowing they would unite again! Rico was a punk, trying to be what he never was and trying to hang on to a one sided love affair. Shameka was being used not even realizing it and I felt like karma met a lot of these characters just because they were grimy and conniving. The fighting was funny as usual! A great read! Some grammatical errors but a great read in typical Chenell Parker fashion!

Lawd Rico was blowing me. He really was doing the most behind someone who really didn't want him. Bleu didn't play any games and she clearly didn't care about what she did while in a relationship. Liberty was annoying and her reasoning behind everything was dumb. I liked Swag from the beginning and could tell his relationship with Liberty wouldn't go far. Bleu's siblings were something else. Lexi was a whole bitch and listening to her bitter momma caused way too many issues. Belize definitely got caught up but I was happy she was able to learn from her mistakes and get things right in her family. Somebody should've given Liberty the beat down of her life. She took things too far just to get Swag's attention. Rico was annoying and burned way too many bridges along the way. Instead of taking his L like a man he chose to go about things the wrong way. He got over on the one willing to help him and did the unthinkable. I was rooting for Swag and Bleu and was truly glad how they complimented each other. There were roadblocks along the way but each situation was handled accordingly and those in the wrong got what they deserved.

If you have never read a Chenell Parker book, you are missing out.. A few things Standalones Love em. But the characters, always have a clear and detailed life. This one Bleu and her sisters and brother, had such a bond, but not with Lexi, her weak self was ruled by her own bitter mama.. Rico what a total chump, liar & stupid, walking around like he had something, he did a weak mind.. He got exactly his Karma. Liberty wow I knew she did something to her own child, YEP she lost everything, and its her own fault and partially her family for NOT getting her together when she was young. Boyyyyy did her mama tell Diesel Everything. The Alpha Man Swag /Diesel Whew, who would have known that 1 night stand with Bleu would make them both Happy. Swag showed Bleu he was running things and was Real Man and took care of her, in all aspects. Belize sure went thru it messing around on her fiancee Avery, her affair of choice, Jason Whew he was truly whooped, with no cheese on his cracker Bleu was a force to be reckoned with when it came to her sisters.. King sure was taught a lesson, about his behavior and cheating & multiple baby mamas but the one really wanted, Massoni she left him alone, and started dating, he got his act together. EXCELLENT READ

Rico smh. I think he tried to do right by Bleu But she wasn’t feeling him and he didn’t wanna let her go. He put himself im a position to be played and embarrassed. Then all his bih ways came to light.
Liberty…I understood her bitterness but she was doing too much.
Avery…I was not feeling him. (Not because of anything bad) I get that you can’t turn off love. But self respect should out weigh love. His situation with his wife was messy. Wifey had a side boo for a whole year dropping her off at home! That trust is dead in the water!! The love may be there but if you can’t trust your significant other we going our separate ways. But this is just me.
Swag did not take ish from nobody. He said what he said and backed it up.
Belize after everything…I couldn’t play the sympathy card. She got off too easy for what she did.
Lexi..that poor woman needs professional help.
I would glad Shameka seemed to have an HEA. I felt so bad for her.

Just when you think you have the characters figured out...BAM... Chenell hits you with a twist and turn. From start to finish, I thoroughly enjoyed the drama, humor and little gems here and there. Bleu was her own woman. I love the relationship she had with her sisters, but that Lexi wasn’t right. She was a poison and Bleu dealt with her perfectly . Swag was the man! Loyal and dominant. Rico and liberty caught me off guard! They just couldn’t let that hurt go. I’m happy karma put them where they belonged. I couldn’t believe the lengths they’d go to get their ex back, after they initially messed up. That was crazy!

This is the 2nd book I've read by this author, and you know what? I love it! Ok so why did I not give 5 stars? Well, because both books read the same but with different characters. I'm not gonna knock that, cause let's be honest if you've read one MC story... you've read the chuffing lot. I know I can pick up other books that may give me more suspense, but these books are the reading equivalent of Coronation Street or Eastenders... drama drama and more drama. I hate the TV Soaps, yet love to read about the hoe's, baby mamas, deadbeat fathers, wifey's and fam.
Yes the phraseology takes some getting used to, but these books are like opening a window on another world. They are colourful, creative and at times so flipping funny that I only wish I could use a put down like the women in these books do. I can't believe that more people aren't reading this author.

WOW Chenell as always you leaves me wanting more. I must say you did an amazing job. When A one night stand leaves your body waiting to feel that kind of love again. Bleu thought something was wrong with her when the only thing she needed was her true love and a real man. Swag proved on more than one occasion that he was what she needed. He was there for her as well as her family. I'm so glad that everyone got their karma especially Rico and Liberty. Now they will be able to live in peace. Them sisters had a bond like no other I hate that Lexi was poison against her sisters but oh well she was grown she should've had her own mind. Chenell I'm already looking forward to your next book. BLEU AND SWAG 💙
I loved it. Very well written, great character development and storyline. This book had my attention from beginning to end with all the twists, turns, backstabbing and revenge. Bleu was something else and although at times she could be stubborn I loved the fact that she was headstrong and knew what she wanted. She definitely met her match when it came to dealing with Swag. He was just as headstrong and wasn't about to give Bleu the satisfaction of thinking she can run over him like her past flings. Rico was an insecure and annoying punk who got exactly what he deserved. These characters have been through some mess but through it all everyone that deserved to be happy and on top got the best ending.. This is definitely a must read.

Satisfied Reader
Bleu was living her best life. She was all about her money and family til Lexi showed her her true colors. She felt it to never cross family due to jealousy. Diesel got that one night and it turned to endless nights. Bleu waa a firecracker and he was the bomb. I can't believe Liberty would do such harsh things to try and get the attention of someone who wouldn't even look your way. She needed a double dose of her own kool aid. Nelize got a second chance of happiness and she gon embrace it tighter this time. Tyler went thru so much and he's right where he needs to be. Thia author always puts her all into her books and it shows. Grear Job

Let me first start by saying I enjoyed this book. It was an awesome read..loved it🔥🔥. That being said, it started off with Bleu having some heauxing tendencies, but thankfully that eventually was straightened out😉. Swag was the man. I loved the relationship that him and Bleu built. I loved Bleu’s relationship with her sisters. Despite having different mothers, they still bonded like they didn’t. Loved it❤️❤️. There was drama, betrayal, laughter, love, loyalty and all the feels. Now this one here kept my attention off the rip!! No need to take it slow...don’t pump those breaks!! You are in for a treat through out the whole book!! Great Read!!
Now that's how you write a standalone! All of the drama that you would get in a series and still the characters ended up with their happy endings. Bleu was spoiled and got on my nerves not listening to Swag, but Swag got her right on together. Rico and Liberty were crazy asf! How can you want a man so bad that it will cause you to hurt your own child, CRAZY! Missy and King got it together and i loved it. I bet Belize won't ever try to cheat on Aspen EVER AGAIN!! I love the bond the sisters had and how loyal they were to each other.

GREAT LOVE STORY
I have NEVER read a book by this amazing author that I didn’t like… I don’t care what the title is, I will always read her work. I love the evolution of the sisters as well as the relationship between bleu and swag. I was shocked at Liberty’s desperation and the hurt it caused her son and family but glad it worked out for them. I was glad all the couples made it to the other side of happiness. As always, looking forward to the next great story by this New Orleans author!!

I love the evolution of the sisters as well as the relationship between bleu and swag. I was shocked at Liberty’s desperation and the hurt it caused her son and family but glad it worked out for them. I was glad all the couples made it to the other side of happiness. As always, looking forward to the next great story by this New Orleans author!!

Loved Bleu and Swag
I really enjoyed this read. Swag was the right person to get Bleu in line, and they were made for each other. The way they met wasn't traditional, but it was meant to be. Everything they went through had to happen to see if they could survive, and they did. Rico made me so sick, and he got what he deserved. I'm not gone lie Belize and her situation, I didn't think she was gone come back from that, but I'm glad she learned her lesson. That darn Lexi is sad, and the beat down was nessarry. Good read

Rico was so desperate if someone doesn't want you get over it. Bleu wanted to end things with Rico but he always found a way to make her feel bad. Rico loved bleu but she didn't realize he wasn't the one to capture her heart. Its funny how love creeps in when Mr. Right has always been there but it just wasn't time. I loved the bound with Bianca, Belize and Bleu their sisterly bond was strong. Definitely worth the read. 💜🔥💜🔥💜🔥

I always stop what I’m reading whenever Chenell drops a new book! She never lets me down. It’s guaranteed that I will #1 Get a new, hot Alpha male book boyfriend #2 Find the characters relatable and to the point I feel like I know them personally #3 Have a good laugh #4 Learn a good life lesson, there are always hidden gems in the story and #5 CLOSURE!! I feel good after reading her novels, not all stressed and unsatisfied with the ending.

Swag was that man and he was a perfect fit for Blue. I couldn't believe that a woman would go so low to harm a child for some man's affection/ attention. And I was at a lost for words when it came to Rico. He got no sympathy from me. He was dead wrong all the way around. King stepped In to this position and I was happyhr did. Go!Missed for putting your foot down. Jason love sick crazy. I'm happy Avery came around and they sister deserved that beating period.

Simply amazing
This book had me hooked from the very first page,It was like reading a book within a book. The title gave secrets, infidelity, betrayals, and just enough drama. Despite having multiple moving parts it came together seamlessly and flowed pretty well. Bleu had everybody n they momma pressed! 🤷🏾♀️. Bleu certainly found her match in Swag. He certainly not one for the games when it came to his loved ones. His bunny meant everything to him 💙💙💙
