Selwyn Hughes was a Welsh Christian minister best known for writing the daily devotional Every Day with Jesus. He founded the Christian ministry CWR and wrote over fifty Christian books. George Carey, the former Archbishop of Canterbury, described Hughes as a "giant in the faith".

First of all I would NEVER rate the Word of God with two stars. This is the tenth year that I have read the Bible from beginning to end and I use different versions and different formats and I found this one too cut up and I got lost figuring out what time and action was being referred to in the Old Testament especially. I will be going back to an old favorite The One Year Chronological Bible in NIV for 2022.

This is a fabulous daily Bible with passages from the Old Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and New Testament everyday. It really helps with those books that can be a bit long winded and hard to read. The spacing and pace was great until the last week or so when either half or entire books of the Old Testament was being read in a day. I wish they would have worked that a bit better.
