A great intro book for the amateur practitioner. I learned a lot with this and hopefully can start applying the basic concepts to my own journey.

Can't wait to try some of these spells out! Very informative and the writing style is inviting and friendly. Not overly complex and a good book for beginner witches like myself.

This was an excellent guide for beginners, but that does not mean the more experienced of us won't get much out of it. I always find that I'll learn something new in anything I read. Chamberlain is clear, detailed, and to the point with no unnecessary details. Her book is easy to read and understand, and people of all religions will find it useful.

Ms Chamberlain’s books are so inspiring !
I love Lisa Chamberlain’s Books. Her words seem magical, she writes with love and knowledge. Her instructions are clear and concise. I have read others that seem like they are giving you instructions for assembling a piece of furniture. Lisa is like an older sister or best friend, gently guiding you along. She has many books available about the craft and she is very knowledgeable in all.I highly recommend anyone wanting to begin a journey into this realm of thought and belief to giver her books a first read.

Enlightening!
I love how simple yet informative this small guide it. I'm a beginner myself and still trying to find my identity. This guide certainly has further increased my interest in Wicca and spells, specifically candle and fire magic. Thank you so much for this guide! I'll be buying the rest as well!

This book has been very helpful in terms of candle magic. I even copied down some of the spells, as well as the correspondence tables, into my Book of Shadows for future use (credit given to the author on the footer of the page). I now want to read the rest of her books, I feel like I can learn a lot from Lisa Chamberlain.

lisa chamberlain has a wonderful line of books. i’ve enjoyed each of them that i’ve gotten my hands on. great for beginners, or going back to basics. helpful, practical, and very approachable. she practices and uncomplicated form of magic, and encourages you to personalize it so it feels right for you.

Thoroughly enjoyed!
Didn't know what to expect and was just looking for an inexpensive, easy into to candle magic. This was great! Hit all the points without being to wordy. Simple and to the point. Will be ordering more from this author. Super easy to read and understand!

Good for basics and introduction, nothing more. I would’ve appreciated some factual history, citations and references. Instead it was purely anecdotal. I do appreciate the table of correspondence though.
