A great book if you get beyond the glaring continuity issues
The BRIDE TO AN ALIEN SERIES is a great read. I have read all four released books, KYRIX is a prequel, ARAX is technically book 1 if you read in order the author wrote them unless you prefer to read them in chronological order as I tend to prefer then read KYRIX first the ARAX 2nd, ERYX 3rd then this book PRAX is 4th. I an currently waiting for the next book RIVIX. To be released in mid august 2021. Now…. ok first our HEROINE in beginning comes off as a wonder woman defending the most vulnerable victims women & children caught by “sexual trafficking” when we first meet, SCARLET is a ATTORNEY who defends vulnerable people she is on her way to court to defend a victim of sexual trafficking who’s horrible crime was used fake credentials to attempt to get home. Samia was kidnapped by “CARTRIGHT” and his goons and had unspeakable things done to her. She managed to escape and was caught by uk immigration. Enter SCARLET who with Samia’s testimony Cartwright and goons get out of prison SO, he sends a goon to threaten/kill Scarlet. Enter PRAX who immediately kidnaps her for her safety. our heroine does not tell him she has a daughter, fine understandable she in the beginning is protecting her daughter then when she realizes PRAX means her no harm, she doesn’t tell him because she fears he’ll run screaming that she has a daughter, ok fine. But scarlet doesn’t tell him she has a very important case that a very innocent woman will go to prison without her and when Samia goes to prison the bad guys get out of jail with out scarlet helping Samia, they are free. Ok there is no time to tell him any of this cause now Scarlet & PRAX’S lives are in danger. They are captured and forced to do the bidding of ANAX’S. bad brother who want them to break THE MAD KING XENOBACCIOUS or whatever his name is…out of prison or many many threats to both Scarelet & PRAX’S loved ones including them…. We get it. So what’s my big problem? The author basically wrote our heroine as Wonder Woman but she forgets about all her vulnerable clients especially SAMIA! Once Scarlet starts getting a steady diet of vitamin “D” it’s “SAMIA WHO?” “Cartwright who?” Loose ends abound! In the end. We can only imagine what became of Samia. Her court date came and went a week or more went by and by the end of book Scarlet & PRAX & daughter live HEA. That’s not a spoiler we all know it will be A HEA For them, but SAMIA & CARTWRIGHT’s & his GOONS are never mentioned again and it was made clear in beginning without scarlet.. Samia goes to prison and Cartwright gets away scot free!
I SPENT ALL NIGHT FULL OF ANXIETY I could not, review at 3am and also could not sleep my head would not quiet! also minor points PRAX sees a bra for the very first time and not only does he know how it is worn and what kind of fasteners it has and where they are located, but also how to easily remove the bra that he has never heard of before! Well? isn’t he just the psychic of them all! Also he knows what “martial arts” is, but has never heard of karate.. umm? Ok? I guess. This book is full of continuity pot holes! Those were just a couple. It’s a great story except of course for Samia who gets kidnapped, violated, & escapes only to be imprisoned by U.K. immigration. and the SEX TRAFFICKERS go free! this is not said in the book mind you.. but it is well inferred due to the very fact THE AUTHOR LEFT A BIG GIANT PILE OF EMPTY! Scarlet is so wrapped up in Vitamin D her job no longer matters by the end of the book. So much for our so called “heroine” I’m serious! for the third time in writing reviews on this series, I’ll repeat THE AUTHOR “Kate” NEEDS A NEW/BETTER ALPHA READER! I volunteer as tribute! I already alpha read for other authors. If I can save one bookworm like me from being stuck awake all night, tossing and turning cause the good book they just finished left them with high anxiety “abuse triggers” in a series that is not supposed to have abuse triggers! Then I have done the world of bookworms like me a GRAND SERVICE! And believe me “IM KNOWN, FOR CATCHING CONTINUITY ISSUES!”
Author could have had PRAX use his Alien connections to free Samia giving her a full pardon and gotten all Cartwright & bad guys put away ..or better yet, dead. I expected that ending.. to the book SADLY IT NEVER CAME. We have no idea what became of Samia cause she was never mentioned again past chapter 2 or was it chapter 3. Scarlet thought about her after PRAX “kidnaps her, but only in selfish comparison. She never thinks about Samia ever, again after getting vitamin D. So PATHETIC ! I could not sleep, so I got up to write this. So now, I can rest. Bless you Samia wherever you are. In my mind, you died and are at peace now. Along with Meredith Sinclair’s dead cat left alone with no fresh water for a week or more!

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first I've read of this author and series, but things were explained in such a way that I wasn't completely lost on the politics and relations between the aliens as well as the alien's relationship with Earth.
Prax is an alien prince taking a public relations tour of Earth. A year and a half ago, aliens made contact with Earth and have recently began visiting. During his visit, crowds of people (and paparazzi) gathered to watch him. In the crowd, a woman was pushed onto his path and he stops to help her up. The attraction is immediate, but she quickly leaves.
Scarlett is a lawyer and single mom to a 9 year old daughter named Violet. She shares custody with her ex- who abandoned her when he found out she was pregnant. She falls into Prax's path while leaving to pick up her daughter from school. When she is held at gunpoint the following day, Prax saves her. She is his fated mate and he kidnaps her, bringing her aboard his ship to protect her from danger.
Shortly thereafter, Prax's cousin ensnares his ship and blackmails Prax into freeing his father- the previous king- from his imprisonment and threatens Scarlett's life. They must do this together- accepting an invitation to a royal baby shower to gain access. With Prax's reputation, the possibility of war, and the lives of Scarlett and her daughter on the line, can they find a way to safely outsmart their blackmailers, or will they be forced to release an insane, cruel, and tyrannical king back onto the world?
This book had good action and storytelling to keep you turning those pages. The romance progresses fairly normally at first, but heats up all of a sudden when Scarlett decides that comrades-in-arms with benefits is the way to go until they figure a way out of their situation. Scarlett is a fighter, does not like to be told what to do, and is very forward when it comes to speaking her mind. She blames Prax for putting her in the situation she's in, but slowly falls for his charm before suddenly giving in. Her sudden change of mind threw me off a little- especially in such a short amount of time- but still worked. We meet some great supporting characters.
Overall a really good story that had me devouring the pages; well developed world, and interesting characters. I would have liked more interaction between Scarlett, Prax, and Violet. Prax and Violet's meeting was done in a bonus chapter rather than in the story itself. I would have liked learning what the dynamic between Scarlett and her ex would turn into as well. Enjoyable read. I recommend it. 4 stars.

This is a brilliant book. The characters are brilliant as is the world building. This is the story of Prax and his fated mate Scarlett, there is action, a kidnapping and blackmail but after all that it ends in a happily ever after ending.
Prax is on a tour of earth, he’s near Scarlett’s law office when she has to get to her car to pick her daughter up from school. When she’s knocked out of the way when a journalist pushes her out of the way, Prax comes to her aid. After she leaves he finds he can’t get her out of his mind and when he sees his mate mark he knows why. He has to find her and goes about hunting her by her scent, when he finds her she is being threatened by a man with a gun who wants her to step down from defending her client. When Prax arrives the gunman is down for the count but when Scarlett tells him that his boss with more than likely send more people he freaks out, he knocks her out and transport to his ship. When Scarlett wakes it’s to the ship being brought in to another ship by tractor beam. Turns out it’s his cousin Agrix and if Prax doesn’t break his father out of prison Agrix will blow Praxs ship up especially when it will be kept near the palace. Prax agrees and Agrix has his engineers add cameras, bugs and a bomb to his ship so he knows is Prax goes back on his word. Along the way Prax and Scarlett get very closely acquainted several times. When it seems Prax isn’t holding up to his end of the bargain, Agrix contacts Scarlett and informs her he has her daughter and he will kill her. Scarlett tells Prax and they have no choice but to break the evil ex king and deliver him to his cousin. When they arrive on the ship and Prax and Scarlett refuse to get off until they get Violet back Agrix tells them he never had her, Scarlett confirms this and they jump out of the ship just in time as it launches. Prax can’t have him free though and fires an electrical thingy into the side of the ship which conveniently blows the bomb and the ship up. Prax and Scarlett are injured and when they wake it is inside the infirmary in the palace. Prax and Scarlett have many questions to answer but they will heal and Violet is safe and sound. That only leaves the wedding.

Prince Prax M’Etein and Scarlett Moore story is just another one that keeps you on the edge of your seat right up till the very end. Prince Prax is here on earth for a PR tour that’s boring and is hoping it’s over quickly and when a gorgeous female is pushed and begins to fall in front of him he catches her just in time but when there skin touches he knows she is his fated mate and decides staying a little longer getting to know this female. Scarlett Moore is a immigration lawyer who deals with human trafficking all day long but after a long day going home to her daughter Violet makes life a lot better but keeping her from he ex and his gambling issues is a job in its self. The prince decides to visit Scarlett the woman who is his mate at her office but when he arrives she is being held at knife point and Prax attacks and kills the man’s to save his mate again and takes her back to his ship. Now they are being blackmailed and are forced on a mission and if they don’t there families will be hurt. How does it all turn for these three, do they stay on earth or not.

Prax had my heart going pitter patter through the whole story. He and Scarlett were fantastic together. Scarlett is a lawyer in the UK and ends up falling (after being pushed) in Prax's path. He helps her up and by the next morning he has the Herkleian matebond of stars in a circle. He was off to get Scarlett who was his mate and take her home. But when he found her she was being held by a human with a gun. Prax saves his human mate and whisks her away to his ship. Then the adventure begins. His evil cousin, Argrix, grabs them, threatens them, sabotages Prax's ship, threatens to kill Scarlett, and he seems just as evil as his father, Xeobaccus. I love their plotting, twists, arguing, and the steam between Prax and Scarlett. I hated to see the book end as it was so entertaining. Can't wait for the next book in this series. I love this series and you will too. all books can be read on their own, but there are characters weaving through.
Scarlett and Prax have quite a time, with him kidnapping her - to keep her safe of course. However, the deposed king continues to impact on those trying to make a better life and he is using other family to get his way.
With emotional blackmail and threats to her daughter, Scarlett has to bow to the fact she must help Prax, who is also being blackmailed, to try and break the deposed king out of prison.
Really enjoyed this, lots of drama, humour and misunderstandings in only the way human and alien interaction can be, lol!

Really enjoyed this, lots of drama, humour and misunderstandings in only the way human and alien interaction can be, lol!

Another wonderful story in this series I enjoyed reading. Prince Prax M'etein is doing a public relations tour of Earth and Scarlett, lawyer and single mom with a nine year old daughter named Violet. Scarlett left her job to pick up her daughter from school fighting the crowds that surrounded Prince Prax to reach her parked car when the reporter and she collided and tripped and landed onto the pavement. Prince Prax seeing the mishap comes to help her. Scarlett finds the Prince very attractive but when the buzzer on her watch warns her, she hurriedly leaves to pick up her daughter. Prax can't forget about the human women so he goes hunting for her. What occurs between them in the highly enjoyable story with engaging characters and a appealing storyline was a wonderful story. This is the third book of the Bride To An Alien Prince series, fourth if you count the prequel. This story follows Earth girl Scarlett and Prince Prax M’Etein.
It is an easy read, HEA, without cliffhangers. If you haven’t read the series you can still read this as a stand-alone, but the experience is enhanced by reading the previous books, especially in the world building.
There are a few “roll your eyes” scenarios, but not enough to detract from an overall enjoyable SciFi alien romance.
I would recommend this book and series as a lighthearted, easy read. These are available with Kindle Unlimited and well worth the free read with membership.

I hadn’t read the other books in this series but after reading this story I will now, this is an alien sci-fi romance with action, adventure, suspense, danger, drama, passion and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages. This is the story of Scarlett a lawyer and single mum who meets the alien Prax when she’s knocked over by a reporter he helps her up and Scarlett has tingles all through her body then she runs to her car to pick up her daughter from school. Prax is a prince he’s also a hunter he goes looking for his mate Scarlett he finds her with a man who has a gun pointed to her stomach so Prax knocks him out and kidnaps Scarlett and takes her to his ship. Fantastic story I loved it and the characters and I highly recommend this book.

Prax #3
Well I've made it through this book and am still ready for the next one. This series has been a delightful read, you wonder what the next book would be like. You read the first book, it's good , has a lot of interest and then you move onto book # 2. You find that this book is just a little bit more and still it's interesting. Then you get to #3, it's just as interesting as the other 2 books. Finally it's the end of the evil father and uncle, now you're onto # 4. The only question left is who's going to get lucky next and will the other evil brother and cousin cause more problems. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Ms Stevens has written a very good series and integrated the books very well.

Prax is everything that she's put out of her life taking care of her daughter, brash, impulsive, impetuous but oh so yummy. So when she runs into him on the street, he's the stuff of her fantasies, but when he kidnaps her, she's ready to slap him, until she gets to know the man underneath. Scarlett and Prax are fated mates and roped into a mission fraught with danger all while Scarlett denies the the bond that she feels growing between them. This is the third book in the series and I loved this one more than the firs two. Great characters, great worldbuilding, full of action and adventure, bravo!

Another fantastic read from Kate Stevens! This is number 4 in this great series. So loving all the characters but this is Prax's story and his mate Scarlett. She is a lawyer and single mother. Her x is a gambler and thus she left him. Prax catches her scent when she's knocked over by a journalist chasing the prince. One touch and he knows and their journey begins. :) Not always rosy but they come together against evil and so glad! Read and you will see. Thankfully, this person, is no great loss! But I loved that earth became their home and did like that little snippet of Rivix, his story should be fun.

Prax made a mistake in his past. It was for all the right reasons but the outcome was terrible. This is something that he has lived with ever since. He meets Scarlett by complete accident and realises that she is his mate. When her life is threatened he reacts, patience not being a virtue, which in turn lands him in hotter water. Can they come together to get the right result and will they stay together after?

Their relationship might have started with Prax kidnapping Scarlett, his mate, but it was with good intention. Prax was being his impulsive self which is the source of their trouble.
He may be impulsive but he has a good heart and that won him Scarlett’s heart. He is also an alien who knows what’s more important than the crown.

This well written book 3 in the Bride to an Alien Prince Book Series was interesting with well-crafted scenes, storylines and amazing characters. These characters have strong wills, amazing personalities, and believable interactions. This intriguing story has the following: drama, twists, turns, adventure, action, danger, love, steam and a HEA. It is a fast-paced, alien romance book that will keep you engaged throughout.

Nothing like some accidental kidnapping to get a romance started. Most of the situation could have been avoided if Prax would have fessed up from the beginning at least told his family. It was nice he was still willing to do anything for Scarlett even though she didn’t tell him the whole truth at the beginning.

Another interesting and exciting story in the Alien Prince series. I adored Prax because in spite of how it appeared, he did try to do the right thing. Scarlett was his perfect counter balance because where he was impulsive she was focused. I enjoyed reading their story.

Enjoyed reading about Scarlett and Prax, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is great. The story is entertaining and filled with adventure and intrigue. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

This was a terrific read. Prax is an amazing alien who finds the path to his fated mate Scarlett is much more fraught than he hoped. The world building is great and I'd love to read more here.
