Best friends falling in love. Gracie and Hudson have grown up together and Hudson has known from a young age that what he feels for Gracie is real and eternal. When they turn 18 all bets are off.
I really enjoyed this book. Gracie and Hudson are great characters, and I loved watching them grow up, fall in love and build a life together. They have a gorgeous love story that is fun, sexy, intense, sweet and beautifully swoony. And that epilogue was the icing on the cake! ❤

This one was a light fast read for me pretty cute story about a friendship to lovers
Hudson has know Grace all his life they played house together shes his from that moment we see snips of age 5 to 18... their first time was so sweet...
Hudson is trying to make sure he has the funds to support himself and his wife (when they get married)
But the more he's working the more he sees his girl pull away and he won't gave that, now he's going to make sure try to talk to her about what's going on in her mind. And when he finds out he's thrilled now he just needs to get his girl to calm down and make sure her dad doesn't kill him.
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondary character, sexy times, both virgins

So cute
Such a cute story. Hudson and Grace have loved each other their entire lives. Even from a young age, Hudson knew that Grace was his future and he worked hard to make a good life for them. I appreciated that they never waived through the years.

I adore this type of romance, where the leads have known each other since birth. Watching them grow up, and seeing the friendship grow and the bonds formed. Then finally it’s attraction and all consuming love.
Fiona Davenport excelled with this one. Hudson is all man and an Alpha with an A. His devotion never waivers when it comes to Grace. She’s his forever. It’s a fast read, no cheating, no drama! It’s full steam ahead. The heat factor is smoking hot. Likeable characters and a fun read.

This was such a sweet, steamy treat! Told almost entirely from the hero’s POV, snippets and snapshots from childhood to early adulthood of loving the heroine. Until he finally claims her for himself and they start their lives together. It’s totally unbelievable, pure escapist smut but that’s the best kind! It brought all the happy sighing swoon!

Gracie & Hudson's story is marvelously paced - we get to see snippets of them as they grow up & how Hudson develops into the Alpha he is. *grin* I love the generational aspect - we get to catch up a little with both their parents & all the families from this series, and get a peek into future stories, too.

This story was amazing! I loved how we got to see small parts of them at different ages growing up. I love that Hudson and Grace were both virgins and the two epilogues were wonderful and steamy. Everything Hudson said about the bedroom and being in charge was so sexy!

Hudson and Grace, in the beginning, are the cutest little kids ever!! Hudson has loved Grace his entire life. He knew from the very beginning that she would be his one and only. To some people, 18 is way too young to know what you want out of life. And to some, it definitely is! But Hudson and Grace both knew that there futures would end up in no other way than together forever. Hudson had waited until they were both 18 and graduated high school before they lost their virginities to each other. Hudson was definitely an extremely smart, good looking young man who knew exactly what he wanted. And absolutely nothing was going to stop him from getting it. These two were definitely hot!! That young man knew exactly what he wanted sexually and knew how to get it. I can't wait for the book couple of books! Audrey and her black suit hitman. And Faith with her sexy fireman....what will he do when he finds out she's only 17! Sooo excited!

This story was a bit more unique than the first eight books in the series. One Love actually started when Hudson and Grace were five years old, then it would skip several years, touching on years 8, 12, 14, and 16 (all in the prologue) before starting chapter 1 in their 18th year.
As with the previous novellas, this one had a very alpha male (though it was hard thinking of an 18-year-old young man as an alpha) who was intent on taking care of the woman (again, hard to think of an 18-year-old girl as a woman), whether or not she wanted him to. It was definitely a mixture of young adolescents and young adults, but it worked. The author wove the years together pretty seamlessly, all the while managing to instill all the steam in this novella that she had in the previous books. It was definitely worthy of a five-star rating and, as with the others, will be added to the Keeper for the Shelves collection.

This is the story of 2 of the children of the previous couples in the Love series. Childhood love blooms into this couple's OTT steamy love story and HEA. Trigger warnings: high school fight, light bondage.
Hudson and Grace have grown up together and have loved each other through every stage of their short lives. The joy and pride Hudson shows protecting Grace is something all men should aspire to when they fall.

This book is definitely par for the course with the Love Series (i.e. obsessive alphas and young women born to be moms)! It's a great quick read for anyone looking for a quick and dirty fix to your risque romance addiction! Unlike the other Love series both the hero and the heroine are young (18), so some might enjoy this a little more than the other books with large age gaps.
The only reason I took away one star was because some of the stuff Hudson was doing/saying does not align with a teenager and it kept me from totally falling into the story (finished his Bachelor's degree while still in high school, thinking like a sexpert at 16, and just some of things he says in general). But overall I still recommend this read!!

Whoa🔥
I had figured that this book was going to be extra sweet and maybe lower heat since the blurbs made it a childhood romance... welp... I was wrong!! It was definitely sweet, Hudson and Grace had the truest fairytale❤ but whoa did the duo that is Fiona Davenport bring the heat! I was unsure about reading the heat prior to them being 18, was a little awkward...but once they hit 18 and both graduated it was alright. Hudson was definitely alpha and Grace was his perfect other half. Loved the story so much and already looking forward to the next. S/n i hope the authors can give us a family tree of sorts? I'm starting to lose track of all the kids and which parents they belong to😂

Hot for an 18 year old???
I adore this series and I never want it to end. But I admit to being skeptical that an 18 year old could be as obsessed, possessive and dominant as his predecessors in previous books of the series. I am skeptical no more. Hudson is every bit an Alpha as his father and uncles. Wow!
Besides the hot alpha and his possessive tendencies towards his girl Grace, this is an extremely sweet romance between two people who’ve known each other since they were babies. Grace and Hudson have been inseparable from birth, when their destiny was sealed.
Make no mistake, this isn’t a YA romance. This is what you expect from Fiona Davenport...hot and magical.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
One love is the ninth book in the ‘’love’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Hudson and Grace have been inseparable since they were little children.
