A compelling account of the circumnavigation of Alaska's North. Stuck does a great job describing the area, the residents and the recent (at the time) history of Alaska and its northern coast. This is the final adventure that Stuck made with Walter Harper, and that account alone makes it worth a read. Always out at the fringe of the narrative, is the fact that the trip started in late 1918.
