The lives of these three men are fated to intertwine. Is it the beginning of the end?
While this was an ok start to a story about a werewolf territory war, there is absolutely no steam. And I mean none. I have made it through the whole series, which definitely needs to be read in order, and it was entertaining, don’t get me wrong on that part. It was the label of “a steamy werewolf romance” that I have an issue with. There is nothing on page. You get a hint of something about to start and then suddenly it is the next day. All I am saying is you might want to correct that label on the cover.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Lance is the new head neurosurgical Doctor in Lyca District. Carl is looking for his missing older brother. Harry is a young nobleman. What can all three have in common? They all have one genome, something in their genetic that make them unique. This was an interesting beginning for these men and they learn the curved ball fate has made a new life.
This was an interesting and intriguing story about three men that find they have something in common. One is a neurosurgeon, one a nobleman and the last looking for an older brother that is missing. Each has a genome that is in their genetic makeup that no one else has. This makes the storyline interesting and has twists as you read this with great characters that will have you wanting more! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is a very interesting start to a story I'll know more as the story develops but it seems like it could be something worth exploring. So looking forward to read the next book.
First book and introduction to this shifter world and the main characters of the series. I’m intrigued by the world building, the characters, and it is such a short read, I will continue with the series.
Gutter Grounds is the second salvo in what promises to be a very interesting series. Lycan shifters, doctors, family, money, Mafia, and power. Intriguing, yes, twisted, you bet, can't wait.
Short serial installment with cliff hanger ending. No idea where the story is going. Simplistic style writing. Great character development. Not enough to rate. Will wait for series to finish.
