This book explores the history of slavery across different centuries, countries, and continents, concluding with the story of Black Harlem and racial segregation. It is a well-detailed and informative read for anyone interested in the Atlantic slave trade. Was running out of time unfortunate enough so I couldn’t grasp all the details .

Zeer interessant, zwaar boek om door te worstelen.
Ik vind het wel jammer dat er veel citaten in het boek in het Frans, Engels of Spaans niet vertaald werden. Er wordt vanuit gegaan dat de lezers van meneer Portocarero allemaal talenknobbels zijn.
