A SEALs Regret is the third installment in bestselling author, Cayce Poponea's romantically suspenseful Trident Brotherhood Series.
Cayce Poponea currently resides in Southern Georgia, with her three dogs and a wonderful husband. A true romantic at heart, she writes the type of fiction she loves to read. When she isn't setting behind her computer screen, creating yet another heart-stopping, page-turning novel. You can find her enjoying down time with her family.
The story of Rayne and Matthew is very emotional and tear-jerking. This is the third book in the Trident Brotherhood Series. This romantic suspense will grab your attention right at the beginning and keep you page turning. No shortage of regret, danger or drama. They say honesty is the best policy as lies can have far-reaching consequences. Well written with strong, complex characters and an engaging story. I read an advanced reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
The first two Trident books I loved. This one not so much. The first two read as stand alone. This third edition literally began near the end of the second one. Multiple plots compete with each other. Matt works hard to reclaim Rayne’s trust and love after he broke her heart. He and his SEAL brothers try to reduce the criminal element in town. Rayne discovers mysteries in her family history. When I finished it, I was left with a cliff hanger for the SEALs and a feeling that Matt and Rayne’s HEA will be effected by her family’s past. There were too many unanswered questions regarding her brother, father and mother for me to find this an enjoyable read.
This book has small town gossip, cheating, meth lab, gun running, the cartel and so much more. Matt (Reaper) is an ex Navy SEAL who still goes on jobs to get rid of the bad guys with his SEAL Team buddies. Rayne works for a funeral home and knows how to shoot guns with precise aim. Matt told Rayne a lie which hurt her and caused her to move to a trailer home. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I like the storylines of these books but they all seem to drag on for me. Plus there are things that really don’t add up. I don’t want to give spoilers the reason that Harper is upset with Logan just doesn’t jibe with their characters from their own book. Yes I’m continuing because I’m the type of person that has to know what happens next.

This is a well written book filled with tons of emotion. The author brings drama, suspense, action and danger as well as the steamy romance. The characters are strong , the story moves quickly and smoothly and held me captivated to the end. I loved and would recommend this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This was a good storyline but the read is slow at times. Matt is a good SEAL and man. He told a lie to Rayne when he was in an upset stage of his life. Rayne is living in a dump and has two men who want her. She sees something she shouldn't have and has to rely upon Matt to help her out.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
This is the third installment of the Trident Brotherhoof Serie, and even though it is a standalone reading the previous books will only heightens the experience.
I enjoyed the story, thd characters are well developed, but it feels like the protagonists story started a book or two earlier.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.
This was a brilliant story - lots of action and suspense as well as steamy scenes. The characters are amazingly well written and you the storyline is fast paced and keeps you on the edge of the seat!! Highly recommended!
This is the 3rd book in the Trident Brotherhood series and it doesn't fail to pack the punches. My heart shattered with this story! The emotions, drama and suspense will keep you on your toes, while ripping your heart out. Prepare for an emotional journey and buckle in for a ride.
A great story I loved it from the start hot chemistry between the characters full of danger and drama definitely worth reading and the couple of books before this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
A great read. The storyline is emotional and the characters are so endearing. Honesty is the best policy and it certainly applies here. Loved the ending!! I am voluntarily leaving my review of this ARC.
