Kevin Kangas is a writer/director of independent horror movies. His movies include "Hunting Humans", "Fear of Clowns 1&2", "Bounty", "Garden of Hedon", and "Terrortory 1&2", many of which can be found streaming on Tubi, Roku, Fawesome and many other channels.
He also authored a book on his favorite holiday, Halloween as well as a new vampire novella called "With Teeth" that's available now!
If you are looking for a new daring take on vampires where the word 'suck' will take a new meaning, this might be for you.
We follow a married man that is tempted by some very special type of hookers everyone is talking about. Combining horror and humor we follow two friends that will get too close to something way bigger and more dangerous than they expected.
The book had a really cool final battle and a lot of action is packed in this under 200 pages novella.
Unfortunately for me there were some things that did not work for me. The use of the F word was not needed and the misogyny got too much for me at some point. I do not see how these things helped the character arc or plot so for me they were unnecessary.
I've been a big fan of Kevin Kangas' work ever since I saw his film HUNTING HUMANS. The idea of a serial killer being hunted by another serial killer was unique at the time (this was years before Dexter), and I've enjoyed every film he's put out since then.
When I heard about this book, I was all over it. I really like his non-fiction book, Halloween The Greatest Holiday Of All, and his story is one of the standouts in the anthology, The Devil You Know. I was eager to see what he could do with a longer piece, and I was not disappointed.
WITH TEETH is action-packed and has a new spin on the vampire lore, one that will make men involuntarily cringe.
I won't get into the synopsis because it's literally right up there, but I will tell you that if you're a fan of vampires, action, vampire action, or just horror in general, this won't disappoint. Kangas brings something new to the vampire trope and will have you turning the pages from beginning to end.
The cover is perfect for this fun, gross, horny vampire-ish tale! It's totally influenced by the sexy-scary VHS movies we all walked by at the video store and were intrigued and creeped out by.
With Teeth answers the question all of us (it's all of us, right? Right?) have wondered about vampires and blowjobs, and takes it up several inches- er... notches. Sleazy, gross, a great one-sitting creepshow.
This is a fun Vamp story with a bit of gore, a bit like the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie, so if you liked it you will like this, there is a bit more to the story than just people vs vamps also, and I liked the characters especially Pops, I's like to read more about him.
aka Don't Stick Your Dick In That: The Book! This is one of the worst books, in the poorest of taste, misogynistic, full of all kinds of slurs against all kinds of people, one dimensional characters, female characters who are exclusively either frigid shrews or vampires whose only character trait is "loves sucking dick", book I've ever read.
