Jerome Martin has written children's books about science, history, Shakespeare and food. Before joining Usborne in 2014, he spent a decade studying literature at Harvard, Cambridge and the University of Iowa, and several years behaving responsibly in a copywriting office. A decent book! It was super interesting, and it taught me about a boat called the Mary Celeste that was found and it was still intact with all the crews belongings, and it was still floating. Nothing was broken, just the entire crew were gone 🤯 they still don’t know where the crew went Anyway, would’ve been a 5 star if it hadn’t been for the “BILLIONS OF YEARS AGO” Besides that, pretty cool! Great for new learners to marine biology (like me 🤪)
In my opinion this book is easily 5 star. All the facts are incredibly interesting and I love the way it is written. I also really like the illustrations with the little blue people. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys soaking up wonderful facts while passing the time.
