It's always so great to read another Lassiter Family story and get introduced to the Lassiters of Connecticut.
Jade Lassiter has been in love with Cynthia's brother (she is married to Samuel Lassiter) Blake Thornton since Cynthia's wedding. The only stickler is because Blake had been introduced to so many family members is that he mixed up Jade's name with Opal's. Now to his defense Jade never corrected him, so when he kissed her the spark exploded between them and then ended with a new to his nuts LOL!!! That was years ago, and now to the present.
Sometimes two people need a little help from an outsider to get the wheels turning, and that helped comes from an unlikely source, Blake's dad with a movie he was producing that would star his son and cast an unsuspecting woman by the name of Jade. Mr. Thornton was determined to see the same kind of happiness for his son that his daughter Cynthia has with her husband. The thorn in all of this (no pun intended) is their mother, a woman who has relentlessly tried to control every aspect of Blake's life. Mr. Thornton has moved to secure a different team for his son, cutting his mother out who foolishly thinks she runs everything.
Jade and Blake come face to face after a couple of years apart and the fireworks are even more powerful than their first kiss. Blake is determined to make Jade his once and for all, and Jade is determined to have her happily ever after with him. But there are enemies of the Lassiter family that have decided it was time for them to be eliminated, Jade is in their crosshairs and it becomes a race against time to save her and the family.
The Lassiters of Connecticut make an appearance this time and reconciliations are happening between the families. And my girl the Matriarch of the Sally Lassiter finally gives the beatdown of the century that has been long overdue to her enemy, oh how enjoyable and satisfying it was to behold LOLL!!!
What an amazing story, through and through. There were surprises, new additions, and more mystery, and I can't wait for the next story to drop.

I am an avid reader and for me, this is the BEST book I have read in 2021. Jade is the Lassiter sister, who for all accounts has the spirit of her mother , Sally. In this installment of the Lassiter's , Jade is in New York, living out her dream as a dancer. Her gift of dance is flawless as was the one her mother possessed. A benefactor is requesting she dance in the latest Blake Thornton movie. Jade and Blake has history since his sister is married to her brother. However, Jade is in a love/hate thing with him, since for nearly 10 years he has called her by her sister's name.
Blake has never forgotten a kiss he got from Jade that brought him to his knees!!!
Inside these pages is chemistry that is over the Richter scale on so many levels. Intrigue and suspense because a hidden force is trying to annihilate the Lassiter bloodline. Jade's story was spectacular. I could not imagine this story would be this involved. Jade could throw hands too. Blake was a momma's boy, but a sexy one. The good part was how the story evolved and drew the audience into the drama, the joy, and the beautiful story.

Okay so every time I finish a book in this series I say…this was great I can’t see how it can get any better. Once again I was wrong . Jade,the youngest twin girl, twin to Adam Lassiter and film star Blake Thornton ( who just happened to be her sister in law,Cynthia’s brother) had tapped danced around their feelings for each other for five years. Neither of them had a clue that once fate Put them in the same city at the same time. That forces that neither of them could even imagine were at work to not only make sure they would never be together as a couple,but the demise of the entire Lassiter family had been set into motion.😧
When I tell you I could hardly put this book down. OMG 😱
YES There is passion, but there is lots of suspense, and a number of surprises that add a whole new layer to the awesome Lassiter Family❤️. I am about to move on to Luke’s story unfortunately I have to give my eyes a break. I’m just glad I don’t have to wait on a release date😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

Another great read. I cannot get enough of the Lassiter's. I was feeling kind of sad because I was down to the last Lassiter sibling. But, Iris Bolling introduced a whole new family of Lassiter's in this book. I have hopes for more great Lassiter family reads.
In previous books, I got a sense of the family dynamics and how their lives progressed as each sibling found their soul mate. Blake and Jade's book gave that and so much more.
I thought Leah's father, LT's half siblings, as well some others were a piece of work, but I think Blake and Cynthia's mother is at the top of the trash heap.
I enjoyed the family relationships, the mystery and intrigue. There were some interesting twists in this one, and I even appreciated the ending which was a major surprise for me.
I am kind of dreading and looking forward to Luke's book. At least after it's over I can start on the Brooks family, lol.

I wish I was a Lassiter!
So I’m new to this world. I know, I know, who reads the last book and not the others?? While I could tell there was background I was missing, it didn’t stop my enjoyment of this story.
Jade and Blake have been dancing around their feelings for years. Seeing the toll his career and his overbearing, evil mother is having on him, Blake’s father sets up a chance meeting for the two to finally act on those feelings. Once they do, it’s full steam ahead.
I just LOVED Jade, she was classy yet she took no crap! Blake was just as sweet as he could be. I wanted to spend more time with just the two of them.
Also I loved every single one of Jade’s siblings. Her and her twin Adam’s relationship made me wish I had a twin.
Definitely going to keep up with this family and their story!

I absolutely loved Jade! This Lassiter gem did not disappoint. I read this book almost in one sitting. Iris Bolling never fails to create stories for people of color from different walks of like. Jade and Blake were a spark ready to combust! Visiting with the family we loved while introducing an extension of that family was an added plus.
A must read book, filled with love, intrigue, and the action we’ve all come to love.

The titbits dropped have me waiting with bated breath for the next stories. Iris’s brilliance when crafting a story is second to none.

Wow wow wow wow wow
This book was worth the wait I just love the Lassiders. The family is similar to my family with twelve children's that love each other and will go to bat for each other. I feel the love in all the gems and gents story this book was so good I started reading and could not put it down. I will be doing my second read on this book right after I finish writing this review.

Awesome Read!
This book was awesome! I have just fell in love with the Lassiters, I love that each one has a larger than life personality. I loved the chemistry between Blake and Jade was amazing. Loved the journey you go on as you read this story. I am not a fan of cliffhangers. I look forward to finding out what happened to Samanth and finding out who is after the. I highly recommend this book, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent read
Excellent read, I loved the characters and storyline. Blake and Jade have been attracted to each other for years. This is their journey to love, with all the plots. I love catching up with the Lassiter family. There is a target on the entire family. It was also great to meet the Lassiters of Connecticut. This book ended in a cliff hanger and I look forward to reading the next installment.

Iris Bolling NEVER disapoints! I have read every book in the Gems and Gents series and loved them all. Jade was a fascinating read. I was disappointed when it ended. I can’t wait until the next book. Whose it going to be? Luke? And with the introduction of the Connecticut Lassiters, there’s a lot more characters to meet, especially Jesse James. Buy the book. If you haven’t read any of them, start from the first book. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed reading this book and we got a front row seat in seeing why the Lassiter kids are more afraid of Mama Sally than they are of their Dad! That was some deserved beat down Sally gave to her nemesis! AND Cynthia was funny as heck! Pulling out a snack to watch the beat down!!!! Hilarious! I know everyone who reads this book will definitely enjoy it! I recommend this book to everyone!

So I had been waiting for the book to come to Kindle and missed the update when it was added. Blame it on my illness, but, baby!!! It was worth the wait!!! Only Sally could hold a class on how to keep a man while in jail this was my most favorite scene.
I love this family everyone was in NY for Jade. After Jade and Blake admitted they liked each other their life was set in stone nothing cold have stopped it. Another Joe and Sally.

Iris Boiling is impressing me with her skills as a faniminal writer this is my third series and everyone has been a great read. I love the characters, the storyline, the action, and romance. Every installment just makes you want more. I need one more Gents and Gems to wrap this up with a pretty bow.

Bravo! Simply loved Jade and Blake's story. I always believed their book would be hot. They we're definitely made for each other.

You do know how to keep us on the edge of our seats. Another great story about family and Love. I Have enjoyed reading every book about the Lassiter family and to add Joe’s family was just brilliant. The next book is definitely going to be awesome. I can’t wait. Great Job

Loved it!
I loved Jade’s story! It kinda came together quickly; but it was really in the making in the other Gems & Gents stories! I loved the reuniting of the Lassiter family...even more so as Luke’s story line with the President is ramping up!

I really enjoyed Made and Blake's story. It was fast paced passionate and just a great read! Sophia was a miserable woman and Jackson should have left her a long time ago! Dana was coo-coo and needed psychiatric help! I love all the Lassisters. Another great one Iris Bolling!
