My review today is on the Romantic Suspense, Last Landing. This is book six in the series Hope Landing Romantic Suspense. I have loved this series and I'm always sorry to see each book come to the end. I'm a big fan of Edie's. This story is well written, action-packed, and full of drama. I really enjoyed this one and I know you will too.

Former SEAL, NCIS Investigator Dale Bonham refused to listen to his FBI task force partner, Tamra. He burst into the room after his former partner. Tamra was caught by the drug dealer and used as a shield. Dale felt like he had no choice as he shot her to bring his ex-partner down. She would probably never forgive him. Now four years later he works for Knight Tactical, he and Tamra are being threatened by his ex-partner who is out on a technicality. How can he keep her safe when she still hates him? How can he ignore how beautiful she is and not lose his heart again? The FBI is watching his team; they must bring in a new man for help.

FBI Agent Tamra Bosch is on unpaid leave for having punched a fellow agent in the face. She is in Hawaii at a private resort going crazy. Dale shows up trying to talk her into coming with him when they received word that there is a warrant out for their arrest. Their enemy released a video of the two of them attacking him and killing him. Tamar has no choice but to flee with Dale. how could he have gotten more attractive than he was when she saw him last?

A terrifying journey to find Yablonski and prove he is still alive. They are chased by police, the FBI, and Yablonski himself. God has a plan for these two broken souls, a plan for a hope and a future. God has a plan for you too, a plan for peace and not for destruction. Give Him your heart and watch Him work in your life even in this time of chaos.

Another Must-Read

I'm going to only point this out once and never mention it in any other reviews I write for this series. "Focused" and "led" (past tense of lead). If you can get past those two repeated mistakes, then you'll enjoy these books. Ok. That's done.
Now I really enjoyed the dynamics between the hero and heroine. It's kinda funny how one is more extroverted and the other more introverted, but they both have trouble communicating with each other. The reasons are plausible, too. The crime felt a bit different this time, but I still loved the story. I hated that Dale flapped his arms when nervous and also slapped his thighs, but that is a quirk that'd probably annoy me in real life. The great thing about these books is that I find them easy to dive into. The characters are people I'm loving to learn about. And the stories give me a little time for wonder and fancy.
If you enjoy suspense romance with an inspirational spin, you may enjoy reading this.

This is my favorite of the series so far. Fast paced with some snarky interplay between ex-CIA agent Dale Bonham and FBI agent Tamra Bosch. Their history involves him shooting her … not the best circumstance for a budding romance. But when enemies from their past target them, Dale and Tamra must find a way to overcome their conflicting personalities and work together. Will they do so in time or end up in prison … or worse?

Though some of the books in this series needed some editing, nothing raised any red flags in this one for me. I continue to enjoy the Hope Landing Romantic Suspense series and recommend it for anyone looking for clean, contemporary romance with Christian themes.

Cooperation

He shot her! The only way Dale could save Tamra from Yablonski was to shoot her through the shoulder so the bullet would take him down. Definitely not a point in the plus column for Dale. Now that a common threat has come up against both of them can they actually work together to save their lives? Due to the evidence against Dale and Tamra Knight Tactical team members can only help from a distance. Despite all the odds against them Dale and Tamra continue to put their trust in the Lord. “Lean not unto your own understanding, but in all things acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.”

Tamra never liked working with special agent Dale. Some of that might be because he shot her once. But the fact that he seems overly confident does not help.
Dale has always felt drawn to Tamra. But he tries to avoid her as much as possible. He knows when he is not wanted. When the two of them are forced to work together again, can they find enough common ground to move forward into a positive relationship?
This book is a part of Hope Landing series. While it could be understood as a stand alone, I think it is more enjoyable if all books are read in order. The book is clean suspense with faith elements and a bit of romance.

This is the 6th installment of Edie James’ Landing series. I received this book for an Honest Review.

I have read all the previous books in this series, and even though you could read this book as a stand alone...I would recommend you read the others first...it is great to catch up with all the characters.

This book is as good if not better than the previous books. I call this series a cozy suspense. Not a real mystery. And quite a few playful moments in the book. I am looking forward to her next one!

I have read every book in this series. I could not stop reading it. I love the real life situations and that her characters are flawed, not super heroes just good people wanting to do the right thing letting their faith lead them. The family that Knight Tactical has formed is something I would love to have. I enjoy the updates of the team in each installment. Thank you Edie for providing a great read that sparks my interest from the first chapter to the last all the while being an intriguing and exciting read but keeping it clean. I can recommend this to all my friends without hesitation.

So thankful that I found this series....

I don’t remember how I came across Hope Landing, but I’m so thankful that I did! Both my mum & I anxiously await the next book to come out, try not to spoil it for the one who hasn’t read it yet, & then excitedly share all of our favorite parts. We both love the non-stop action, the characters, & their faith. I’ve been looking forward to Dale & Tamra’s story since they’ve been sniping at each other in the earlier books! Awesome story-that’s all I’ll say - NO SPOILERS!

Dale, an ex-NCIS investigator, and Tamra, a FBI agent, have a history that involves them butting heads and putting his ex-partner turned criminal away. Four years later they still butt heads when Dale's ex-partner is released from prison due to a technicality. Both Dale and Tamra are on the run from law enforcement officers and the bad guys so they can prove their innocence. This story is different because the Knight Tactical team has their hands tied, but a new ally Seely helps Dale and Tamra. I enjoyed the snarkiness, opposite personalities, danger, and intrigue.

Edie James is fast becoming one of my favourite authors!! Actionpacked. Nail-biting-suspense. Cannot-stop-reading. But a few apt descriptions. We meet Dale and Tamra and boy oh boy are they in for a rough time!! I just could not wait to see how their story ends after their shocking start!! Well Edie you did it again: outstanding book!! I absolutely love how you weave suspense, faith and romance together into an incredible read!! Now I have to wait on pins and needles for the next book!!

Love these faith filled books. the whole series

These two sort of rub each other wrong. He says or does something that upsets her. And she just stops sharing. Then suddenly they are on the run together and learning more about each other. But when will they be honest about their feeling. Meanwhile they are Still on the run with a new teammate. The ending is awesome with as they say “All the feels”.

Last Landing

This is a wonderful addition to the Hope Landing series. Dale and Tamra find themselves on the run from law enforcement agencies everywhere. The suspense, danger and sparks are all flying as they try to prove their innocence. Will they be able to stay out of jail long enough?

Always enjoy the faith of the characters in this series. I just wish Tamra and Dale hadn’t waited until the last minute to share their attraction to each other. I almost felt more attached to some of the supporting characters than the two lead characters. Based on that, I looking forward to Seely’s story.

I couldn’t wait for this book to come out, and it didn’t disappoint! Last Landing opens with a bang and doesn’t stop. I love that both Dale and Tamra are strong characters on their own. Definitely enjoyed this book. Now I’m anxiously awaiting the next one!

Side character introduction

Romance wise this book needed more, hence the 4 stars. I like the disguises. I found the side characters very interesting, but not my favorite book of the series. I do love this genre.

I think Dale and Tamra are one of my favorite couples in this series so far. Their characters both really popped off the page, and I enjoyed the twists in the attempts to figure out who was really after them. Well done mystery/thriller.
