About the author

After almost 40 years teaching English in UK Secondary schools, I am now enjoying retirement and all that life throws at me.
I am a graduate from Bristol University and I always knew I wanted to teach, though I wasn't sure whether to teach Art or English - in the end, English won.
In retirement, I enjoy walking, painting, photography and writing. And of course...my 4 grandchildren!
