This non fiction accounting of one of the largest prison breaks in the U.S. reads more like a novel and grabs the reader right from the start. This well documented account also is chock full of history and anyone wanting to learn more about the Civil War would find it fascinating.

Another well researched book about a sadly unknown portion of American civil war history. How many people have heard of Libby Prison during their school years? I know I didn’t.
