"The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence"
A. Einstein 1879-1955

the way it is written and communicated through its graphic forms of typography and pictures (illustration, photog, collage), I can see how this would appeal to the younger readers, as an introduction to complex subjects to further engage their exploration + curiosity.

it's also great for adults to read for their young audience (kids, nieces, nephews, etc), humour is sprinkled throughout the pages, amusing for adults and kids.

Awesome science popularization book for children. The illustrations are really well done and drive home the points made by the author in an effective manner. It also relies on humour and it functions as a good introduction into what an atom is and why we are supposed to be thankful for its existence. :)
