Jack was at the local tavern in Skagway, Alaska, when the local drunk was man handling one of the tourist from a cruise ship. Jack could only handle it so long before he walked over to put a stop to it. He ended up knocking the guy out and sending the woman back to the ship, but when Nova got to the ship, her pass port and ID were missing. That meant the guy man handling her must have taken them, anyway without them she was not allowed back on the ship. Her only choice was to return to the bar, where the owner gave her a couple of shots of whiskey and she stayed until close at which time the owner sent her to spend the night at Jack's cabin. The next morning he would see about getting her back on ship. Jack was a total gentleman until the next morning, when she pushed him over the edge. He wanted her to stay with him, but she could not since she was under contract for the next five months. They made arrangements to meet as often as they could, before her boss found them and she had to board ship. Then her boss had to bust Nova's bubble and tell her that Jack was a member of a drug family out of Detroit. Now Nova had no idea what to think or what was even going to happen. There first meeting was not for a month. This was a different kind of book, where a bad guy turns over a new leaf. I do not know if you want to say it had a surprise ending of an ending with a twist.

Jack is a local at a tavern in Skagway, Alaska. When he sees a drunk getting too handsy with a woman he steps in to help her. Nova is working on a cruise ship and got off to do some tourist stuff. A guy in a tavern starts bothering her just as she is heading back to the ship when Jack helps her. When she realizes the guys has stolen her wallet and she can't get on the ship without it until the director is there in the morning she goes back to the tavern. The lady bartender ends up letting Jack know about Nova's situation because he comes back and takes her home with him for the night. The next morning they share a heated time together before she leaves and they promise to meet up again when she comes back through. However will his past causes issues for them and have her ending things? Can they make it work?

This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

There is a ruckus going on at the bar, Jack looks over and see one of the drunk fisherman man handling a woman. Later he finds that same woman stuck out and lone till morning, he can't but help her. Nova works on the cruise ship, but when she tried to get aboard is when she realized she lost her ID, headed back to the bar lost at where to go, when a handsome man offers to help. Jack has run from his family, wanting to get out of their lifestyle and his past, he made his way to Alaska. Nova is wanting to follow her heart and that is to sing like her mother.

This hot read hold heat, passion, danger and suspense. Nova and Jack's connection is more than lust, with a secret Jack has not yet explained. But when Nova finds out, will it be to much with her past or will her secret keep them apart.

Nova is a singer. She is on her first tour with the cruise ship traveling the Alaskan coast. She is young, curvy, single and feisty. On her first docking she runs into some trouble. Jack comes to her assistance. Jack is big, hunky, all male. He has secrets that could endanger both of them.The main characters are original, dramatic and likable. They have an instant attraction to each other. They also show each other tenderness and kindness and love. It is a story filled with drama, suspense, passion, and an instant love. Can they make this work? Will they be able to give up their dreams? Will their love even last? A great little story which is entertaining, dramatic, suspenseful, steamy and romantic. I really enjoyed the story and the characters.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Jack is hiding out in Alaska from crazy family and he rarely ventures into town but the one night he does he can’t and doesn’t just stand by while a woman is being abused by the townsfolk. Nova works the cruise ships and gets to spend one day while they are at port but that one day is the start of a journey she never saw herself venturing on especially with a hot and sexy man like Jack will it be enough and can the two of them find a HEA?

Jack ends up saving Nova from the town drunk. She singing on the cruise ship that dock and when she tries to get back on the ship she has no ID. The drunk took her ID. Jack ends up taking Nova to his cabin to spend the night and they find that the attraction they feel is real. They have a wild night and then Jack has to let Nova finish her contract on the cruise ship singing. Neither one of them knew each other very well. Nova hears some gossip about Jack that she doesn't believe. Then she finds Jack's twin brother Bo who ends up taking her to Jack. There is drama, action, and plenty of steam. Nova leaves after being rescued ti retur. To the cruise shop but is unable to return to it as she has lost her wallet with her ID. What will she do? Should she return to the tavern to see of she can find it? This is short, sweet instal9ve story with a HEA.

Jack is on the run from his past and Nova is a singer on a cruise ship that docks near a local Alaskan tavern. When Jack saves Nova from a slimy fisherman’s attempted assault, the insta-love begins, but is it enough to withstand the possibility of Jack’s past catching up with him?

I really enjoyed this steamy little read. I’ll be honest…I didn’t care for Nova as much as I would have liked, but Jack gets a gold star. I could picture the cozy little cabin. I definitely recommend this little gem to pass the time.

Jack is in a bar when he sees Hunter being aggressive towards a woman. He pulls Hunter away from the woman and out the bar. Nova has been having a horrible night and it gets worse when she can't get back on the cruise ship. She stays at Jack's cabin. When she comes back to Port later, she learns more about Jack than she wanted to know, but will it cost her?

Wowsa this book was so good and had me hooked from the beginning until the end and such a fast read and Insta love story. What happens when you meet the man who stands up for you? Nova works on a cruise ship and it's docked in Alaska never in her dreams did she would run into a man who could make her want more out of life until Jack saves her but is Jack hiding a secret that could destroy it all?

This was such a short sweet story that hit all the marks, the main characters Jack and Nova had such chemistry but a very haunting past. But they both knew that they had such love for each other it showed so much through this story. I hope there is a second book I would love to know what happened to Bo.

A really good book

Enjoyed reading the story of Jack and Nova. It's quite an adventure for both of them. His brother is hunting him down.. because Jack left the family fold. Nova is a singer on a cruise ship. What could go wrong you ask. Everything. This is a very good story, it's saying....Read me, read my. :)

I liked this short story. Nova is singing on an Alaska cruise ship and is in port for the night. She meets Jack when he saves her from a very drunk, Hunter and then gives her a place to sleep when she's stuck without ID and can't get back on ship. Nova and Jack have sex before she has to leave. She ends up pregnant from her first time. Liked the twist with his brother and the ending as well.
