I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Elena’s car is on its last legs so biting the bullet she is off to get get a car loan. The last thing that she was expecting Paul, her advisor but also a man that only her dreams could conjure up and he’s asking her for a date. Paul took one look at Elena and saw the woman he had been waiting to claim had just walked through his office door. He has never flirted with a customer before but with her everything feels different and there is no way that he is letting her go. Could they have really met their perfect match?

Great quick read, I do enjoy these quick reads they are great for me when I’m working and Jane Fox never disappoints with her stories. 3.8*.

This is a story from a fun series I enjoy reading. The books are short but pack so much into them! The premise of the stories is that sometimes Fate needs a little help getting deserving people together. Welcome to the files of the Zaftig Dating Agency, where alpha men find the women of their dreams! This series gives the reader stories about all kinds of different people and topics, and the people you meet here will take you on their journey to love.

Paul Lawrence is a banker. His co-worker, Danny, said Paul’s loneliness is getting to him as he turns 40 and longs for a family and someone to love. The woman selected for him to meet is Elena Wiley who is a lifestyle blogger who writes on a wide variety of topics. She needs a loan to replace her rusty old car that’s not going to last much longer. The meeting place selected for Paul and Elena to “find” each other is the Central State Bank as she applies for her loan.

Paul invites Elena to lunch since he is just about ready to go out for something. She has to walk her dog, so they agree to have lunch in Central Park as they walk her beagle named Moose. As she arrives, Paul and Moose check each other out. He passed the “dog test” quickly as he and Moose quickly bond. Walking and chatting, he told Elena he always wanted to travel, but it wasn’t something he wanted to do alone. When though bought tacos and sat on the park bench, Moose took an opportunity to jump and knock Paul’s taco to the ground. Trying to help him, Elena dropped her taco too. As they tried to wipe up the mess on each other, Paul decides to take the rest of the day off and spend it with Elena – perhaps finding an easier way to get clean? Has Mona’s match already started another couple on their journey to happiness and love?

This story was different for me. It progressed much faster than most, or at least felt that way. Paul flirted immediately, which was not exactly professional for a bank loan officer and his customer. Within a half hour, they were meeting for lunch and a walk in the park. And in their initial getting-to-know-you chat, they talked about traveling the world together! There was no sense of build-up, just extravagant plans within a half-hour of meeting! It also didn’t feel like I was getting to know the characters as well and never got to the point of genuinely liking them, as I always have before with the stories. Elena also playfully slaps at him and elbows him frequently, which feels too presumptive after their half-hour friendship. Bottom line is that this one did not engage my emotions and was not one of my favorites.

Can't Buy Me Love is the story of Paul Lawrence, a forty year old banker who works at Central State Bank, and Elena Wiley, a twenty-seven year old lifestyle blogger.
Mona Zaftig of the Zaftig Dating Agency has been contacted by Danny, a co-worker and friend of Paul's, because Paul is lonely and it is getting to him. Mona thinks of Elena because they have a shared dream of traveling the world and also having a house with a large family and dogs. Elena is doing well making a living as a blogger, so much so that she has decided it is time to get rid of her old car and get a newer and dependable one. This requires a loan and she just so happens to bank at Central State Bank. When Paul sees the lovely and curvy younger woman standing there he stops in his tracks and stares. As luck would have it, or really Mona playing cupid, Paul's next appointment of the day is the lovely lady, Elena. Let's just say that Elena gets the loan, Paul gets a date and they both get very lucky.....forever and ever!!!

This is a sweet and saucy short story that was an enjoyable read. The story-line is quickly paced and the characters are charming. Can't Buy Me Love is a charming story and a lovely addition to the Zaftig Dating Agency series.

I've read several books in the Zaftig Dating Agency series but I think this is my favorite.
Every book has the same concept; people looking for love get signed up by friends and Mona Zaftig makes it happen.

This story, although short, is an accelerated romance with a happy ending. Paul who dreams of living with a woman and traveling the world.
Elena wants a loan to buy a new car and meets Paul there. Previous encounters with men were often broken because these men did not pay attention to her dog. But Paul offers Moose the opportunity to travel and well, he invites his woman to come along.

Nice, romantic story with nice funny moments. And of course the sex. The chemistry between Elena and Paul is credible

After checking up at the water cooler with his co-workers, Paul heads back to his office ready to greet his next client, when he sees a beautiful young woman, in the lobby looking nervous and shy.
Elena needs a loan to buy a reliable car and being a blogger she hopes she can get the loan. When she see the handsome guy she thinks she's in trouble. After talking and flirting with each other, Paul send her application to be approved for the loan, he even invited Elena out to lunch. Now Elena is hoping her loan goes through and a new relationship with the sexy, gorgeous loan officer.
Mona Zaftig the famous matchmaker did it again brought two people together when they least expect it.
I am volunteering to leave a ARC review of this book.

This matchmaking series is so addictive! Every story happens without the couple knowing they have been set-up by a friend or family member. Mona Zaftig knows what she is doing! In this story Paul is a banker and when young blogger Elena comes into his branch for a loan the attraction is mutual. But is it a perfect match? I like this story for it's dual POV, straightforward actions by Paul, realistic dialogue and great chemistry. The ending may be inevitable but the journey for every couple is as different as their personalities. It's short with heat, a happy ever after and a charismatic non-human furry friend!

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Can’t buy me love is the latest release in the ‘’zaftig dating agency’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Paul isn’t looking for love but when Elena enters the bank for a loan, he wants her.
The chemistry between Paul and Elena is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the 47th book in the Zaftig Dating Agency series. In this book, Mona matches Paul and Elena. Paul works at the local bank and Elena goes to him for a car loan. Paul is 40 and his partner is hounding him to find someone and settle down. When PAul meets Elena, he instantly knows she is the one and asks her to meet him for lunch. Elena needs to walk her dog, so she agrees to meet PAul in the park. They have a great time together and Paul never wants to leave her. I really love this book, i love this series. I love how Mona matches the perfect pairs. Moose was a cute dog and knew Paul was a good guy. Another great one.

Elena needs a new vehicle and has applied for a loan. Elena is self-employed as a blogger. She has dreams. Paul is a loan officer at the bank where Elena is getting her loan. Elena and Paul have sizzling chemistry. One thing leads to another and they are going out to lunch. Lunch leads to something more. This is an instant love, enjoyable, entertaining, fast paced read with flirty characters with a dash of craziness.

I liked this short matchmaker love story a lot. It was entertaining and enjoyable. I loved Moose! The characters were interesting and likable. Danny was a great friend to contact Mona on his friend Paul's behalf. Paul and Elena were relatable. Their conversation about what they would like to do versus what they were doing was exactly the kind of thing you would expect someone to discuss. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

He's a banker. She's a lifestyle blogger in need of auto financing. He was maybe a bit unprofessional in flirting with her while working, but he knew she was the one almost immediately. Moose, Elena's dog, is adorable, and I love how protective he is, despite his smaller size. He knows right away, though, that Paul is an okay guy. The story is cute, and very steamy, another installment in the Zaftig files from the Queen of Instalove.

In this storyline, a bank is the setup with a loan officer and a young woman wanting to get a different vehicle. Paul and Elena are at a point in their lives when a significant other would fit in perfectly. Both have goals of travel and a family, along with Moose the dog. A lunch after the loan meeting and their relationship skyrockets. Wonderful series and quick read that gives you hope and a better mood - if you were having a bad day. Very well done.

It’s not a case of opposites attract. Oh no. This is more a case of two hearts becoming one. Two people with similar life goals and the openness they have to include another person along with a pet named Moose. It’s great watching two people fall in love. And that my fellow readers, is a story you can take to the bank.

This new book by Jane Fox in the Mona Zaftig Dating Service Series was such a disappointment. Characters Elena a blogger looking for a car loan and Paul, the loan officer lack enthusiasm for each other, their meeting lackluster and the storyline uninteresting like other books in the series. This one seemed quickly thrown together and didn’t leave me with that feel good feeling.

Not expecting much but still...

This series of books is never particularly deep or anything more then 20 minutes of brain candy. However after reading this one I feel brain dead.

Was this written by Jane Fox or first time writer? Were language and sentance structure wasnt going to make these 2 boring people any more interesting.

Disappointed but I guess my favorite snack has just gone stale.
