Malcolm

They say opposites attract, but I never understood the phrase until Leni Abbott walked into my office—or more specifically—into my office bathroom, while I was naked. Even as the pink stained her cheeks and she stuttered to speak, I was completely intrigued. She’s unlike anyone I’ve met before and, wildly enough, seems immune to my charms.

She also has a son. A young five-year-old boy, Trace, who blindsides me with his toothless grin and worms his way into my heart.

Together, they make me feel things. Things I’ve never expected. This single mom might not know it, but she could be everything I never knew I wanted.

Leni

I’ve heard all the rumors about Malcolm Wright, the playboy mayor with a trail of broken hearts left in his wake. I try to resist him, really I do, but he’s always there with those devastatingly gorgeous eyes and a sexy smile full of wicked intent. When he hires my business to clean his impressive house, I know I should stay away, yet find my resolve slipping.

Then he meets my son. I fully expect him to run for the hills, but that doesn’t happen. In fact, being near Trace only seems to draw Malcolm and I closer.

Now there are two hearts on the line as I put my trust and faith into the one man in Mason Creek who may not be able to give his own heart in return.

Avid reader, writer, mother, and wife! I love to read contemporary romance. Add in a little "spice" or hot guys in uniform pants, and I'm a happy woman. There's just something about diving into a book and engrossing in the magic of your hero and heroine getting their happily ever after.

The Mason Creek world has become one of my favorite small town getaways- sweet, swoony, charming, and chock full of small town magic. Each book is a standalone, but all have delivered on what I love about the small town trope. And, after reading Kaylee Ryan’s contribution to the series, I was desperate for Lacey Black’s Perfect Kiss to hear more about the lovable sister, Lenora that we met in that book.

Lacey Black always delights, and The Perfect Kiss was everything I’ve come to adore about her writing. Emotional, heartwarming, and dreamy. In Perfect Kiss, we have a single mom tames the local playboy. The characters are both lovable and charming. I already loved Leni from meeting her in Kaylee’s story- she’s kind, loyal, thoughtful, with a humorous streak and a ton of grit. And Malcolm is just delicious- reformed player, caring and charismatic, devoted and swoon-worthy all at once. And his relationship with Trace, Leni’s son, is just the cutest. And I loved how he is so wonderful to Leni. Malcolm is understandably immediately smitten with her, and the two form a great friendship. But his reputation and her protectiveness over her adorable son Trace have her hesitant to pursue anything more - and I just loved watching her find the courage and safety to take the romantic leap of faith. The two have really beautiful chemistry, the story moves quickly, and I sighed with happiness more than once.

I always love my time in Mason Creek- and this book is one of my favs. Smiles, butterflies, and a full heart- this is what I love about romance.

Scrolling through my kindle, some days I never know what to read and so I tend to keep scrolling until one book jumps out at me and says "read me" - no I don't hear voices from my kindle, it's just a feeling. I have read a couple previously of Lacey Black's and enjoyed them so I clicked into the Perfect Kiss which is part of a new collab series. As I opened the book, I was transported to a small town called Mason Creek which sounded wonderful and homely. Perfect Kiss is the story of Malcolm - our playboy Mayor who had big dreams of being a senator and getting out of this small town and Lenora aka Leni who has moved back to Mason Creek along with her five-year-old son and owns the laundromat and does cleaning around town. Their first meet-cute is an awkward one for the ages as Leni is cleaning the mayor's office when he walks out of the bathroom with no towel and she catches a glimpse of his lovely sized package. For Malcolm who never believed in love at first sight, seeing Leni he wants to get to know her more and after spending time with her and her son who is falling in love with both of them - Malcolm wants more. Leni has been burned before and now as a single mother; she has to think about her son first. Can Malcolm prove to Leni that he wants to be her and Trace's forever guy and not just someone who delivers the perfect kiss? Find out in this sweet romance where I loved the interaction between Trace and Malcolm - that would have to be my favorite part of the story rather than the love story, which was a bonus to the smalltown romance tale.

This was my first read by Lacey Black and I loved it. Perfect Kiss is a mix of some of my favorite tropes - it’s a small town/single parent romance. It landed on my kindle around lunchtime and I finished it just in time for dinner. It was the perfect summer afternoon romance read.

Lenora and Malcolm are made for each other and their meet cute was hilarious and started this book off with a (big) bang! Malcolm is single and he likes to mingle, a lot. All that comes to a screeching halt when he meets Lenora and her adorable son Trace. Watching the player fall hard and fast for the hardworking, curvaceous single mom made for an unputdownable romance read. This book has everything - laugh out loud and touching moments, along with sexy, slow burn goodness.

Perfect Kiss gets the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

4.5 SMOOCHES!

Perfect Kiss by Lacey Black is a small-town romance set in the multi-author Mason Creek series. Malcolm Wright, an attorney and the mayor of Mason Creek, is a bachelor living the playboy life with his sights set on higher office. Lenora Abbott is a single mom who’s returned to her hometown to raise her young son around his family. She’s hardworking and determined, she owns two businesses, and she’s raising her sweet boy on her own.

This is a very fast-paced story, but it was full of all the sweet, romantic feels that I love about Lacey’s small town romances. Malcolm and Leni had amazing chemistry, and I loved watching the happily single mayor get utterly swept off his feet by this single mom and her adorable little boy. This story had all the elements that I love about small town romances. There was a bit of drama and some gossip, two big supportive families, and a gorgeous, heart and heat filled romance.

A complete standalone in the Mason Creek series, I devoured Lacey Black’s offering, Perfect Kiss, in a few hours. Malcolm and Leni’s love story made my heart so happy and kept a smile on my face the whole way through. A super quick read, I enjoyed everything about this charming, engaging and steamy romance. Perfect Kiss by Lacey Black gets 4.5 smooches from me!

Lenora “Leni” Abbott is a single mom. She works hard as an owner of 2 businesses, the town laundromat and a home and business cleaning service. Malcolm Wrightis both a lawyer. and the Mayor of Mason Creek. He’s also a confirmed bachelor and playboy.

But after Leni catches him in a compromising position while cleaning city hall, Malcolm is intrigued. Leni is not his usual type and she has a child. But suddenly she and Trace are all Malcolm can think about. Rumors in a small town, however, can have devastating effects.

I loved this story! We met Leni and Trace in Kaylee Ryan’s Perfect Embrace. Leni is an amazing mom and hard worker and would do anything for her son. Flirting with Malcolm has her wanting more, but she is afraid to trust it even though she does take the leap of faith.

Malcolm falls hard and fast. He is as sweet as can be with Trace and doesn't even think twice about including him on dates and being a part of his life. He is also all about building Leni up and letting her know how gorgeous and amazing she is.

I love that while this book shows all the good of small towns, it also shows some of the bad, such as the rumor mill and the toll it takes on both Malcolm and Leni who have to learn to both ignore the rumors and trust in one another.

Perfect Kiss was very sweet, hot and sexy and just a fantastic read! 5 stars!

This is the first book I've read in the Mason Creek series and after reading this book I want to read more. Small towns are a hotbed of gossip and no one's story is kept secret. It doesn't take long before everyone knows everything about everyone. Which can definitely be a problem in a developing relationship. Mason Creek has a local blog that keeps everyone up-to-date with all the local happenings, especially the mayor's love life.
When it comes to single parent romance, Lacey Black is the master. I doesn't matter if it's a single mom or a single dad, she weaves her characters in such a way to draw the reader in and become invested in the story. Perfect Kiss is no exception. I loved this story of single mom, Lenora or Leni to her family and friend, and her sweet little boy, Trace.
Leni grew up in Mason Creek and returned a year prior when her mostly off again boyfriend showed he wasn't up to being a father. Moving home to be near her family, Leni runs the local laundromat and her own cleaning business. Focused on her son, she's not looking for a relationship, so she is totally unprepared when she walks into the mayor's office to clean the bathroom and finds the very eligible just stepping out of the shower, naked.
Malcolm is the small town's third generation mayor as well as a lawyer. He's known to be a major playboy but when he meet Lenora, he is completely blindsided. Though not his usual type, he is definitely interested in Lenora, and the fact that she has a five-year-old son is no deterrent for him. What follows is a well-crafted, heartfelt story with an emphasis on family, friends, and love.
The scenes with Malcolm and Trace are pure gold. Much to Malcolm's surprise he enjoys spending time with Leni's son, especially taking him fishing. Leni and Malcolm's chemistry is palpable but like any good romance, the path to HEA does not run smooth. People from the past, whether intentionally or unintentionally, cause issues but Ms. Black does not disappoint with the eventual HEA. Great side characters support the couple.
Lacey Black writes warm, real characters and Mason Creek is full of them. Grab this story and snuggle up and enjoy watching the playboy fall for the single mom and her son.

It's official! I found my favorite couple...so far... in the Mason Creek series!!!!
*sigh* I really loved Malcolm and Lenora’s story. This one tugged at all of my heartstrings. Lacey Black just ran away with my heart!

In My Own Words:

Perfect Kiss by Lacey Black is the ninth standalone romance in the Mason Creek Series. It’s finally time for Mr. Mayor of Mason Creek to end his wild ways and find love. And what better person to match him up with than Lenora Abbott. I knew I was going to be a goner the moment I set my eyes on these two. And the prediction rang true the more I read.

Lenora Abbott, single mother and house cleaner extraordinaire, had her life all planned out. But then fate threw a curve ball in the midst. Now she finds herself back in her hometown of Mason Creek, Montana with her five year old son. But through the past few months she’s made a name for herself in this sleepy little town. She not only owns the laundromat, but her cleaning business has been fairly successful and provides her with everything she needs to raise her son all by herself.

Malcolm Wright is a third generation and youngest mayor Mason Creek has ever had. He lives his daytime doing the best he can to build up and protect his small town, and the nights… Well, let’s just say the man didn’t receive his playboy status from sitting at home knitting sweaters all night. He’s worked his way through all the single ladies in the small town and a few close knit communities. That all changed the moment he set his sights on Lenora Abbott. He wants everything she has to and is willing to offer her. And her five year old son is the icing on the cake.

My Thoughts:

Oh my heart! I don’t think I can say this enough, Lacey Black stole my heart with this one!! It has to be said, Malcolm Wright may just be my favorite hero in a long line of swoony Mason Creek heroes. This man has everything I look for in the perfect book boyfriend. He has the swoony factor and the bad boy vibe down perfect. But this man also has a heart of gold and an unwillingness to hurt those he cares about. What I loved most about this man is the way he took Trace under his wing and taught the boy how to fish. Trace, Lenora’s five year old son, has never really had a father figure he could look up too. So when Malcolm took the boy out fishing, you can bet your last dollar I was swoony pretty hard. I also loved how he gained a strong connection with Trace, before he gained a connection with Lenora. That fatherly vibe he had with Trace brought tears of joy to my eyes. I couldn’t get enough!

And then we have Lenora! This woman is as fierce as she is strong. When it comes to protecting her son, she’s definitely a mama bear. But beneath all that strength and courage, there was an uncanny amount of vulnerability. This woman was put through the wringer with her last relationship. I easily understood her fear of not being good enough when it comes to Malcolm. Her insecurities are what broke my heart. But then, throughout this novel, I started to see her grow and gain comfort in her own skin with the help from Malcolm. This man knew he was holding onto a treasure, and there wasn’t a moment where he wasn’t telling her how beautiful she was and how kind her heart was. The chemistry between these two was undeniable! I loved how both were each other's rock. They both built each other up, and never let the other fall. And that’s the exact relationship example Trace needed in his life! And don’t get me started on Malcolm teaching Trace the ways to treat a woman….. Holy swoon moment!!

Alright…. I’m rambling on now, so I’m going to end this review here and now. If you love single mother romances with a hero who is not only a reformed playboy but also wears a heart of gold, check this book out. If you love strong chemistry and connections that will have you shedding tears of joy, check this book out. And lastly, if you like novels with adorable children and role models who step into the parental role flawlessly, definitely check this book out! This will be the novel I think of, and recommend, whenever someone brings up small town romances or Lacey Black’s name! I won’t be able to get over this one! It’ll stay in my heart for the long haul!

I absolutely am in love with this series. Every book is so good and so sweet and pure romance 😊

This one was no different. I was looking forward to Malcolm’s story. Malcolm was the mayor of the small town Mason Creek and the playboy. So him being attracted to Lenora Abbot was so not in his plans. But he just couldn’t help being enchanted with the women who was the cleaner of his office 😊

Lenora, Leni, just moved back home a few months ago with her 5year old son. She wanted to be close to family not just for herself but for her son. So she opened her own cleaning business but also ran the local laundromat. Imagine her surprise when she was cleaning an office and walks in on the Mayor… Naked… lol… Even though Leni has some reservations on getting involved with Malcolm she cant help being attracted to him and the way he is with her son. But not everyone is happy about this new development. Between the MC Scoop and an ‘ex’ of Malcolm’s things might not be as smooth as they think it will be…

Like I said sweet and pure romance. Malcolm even though he was a playboy and everyone knew of his conquests when you start reading this book it just doesn’t come across like that. And Leni was amazing. She was doing everything to keep her son happy and surrounded by people who love him. The two of them together made a awesome couple. Their chemistry was HOT and I was rooting for them from the get go 😊♥ I cant wait for more in this series. I am curious to know which one is next 😊

5 Star Review Perfect Kiss (Mason Creek #9) by Lacey Black
Lacey Black is a relatively new author to me. One of the things I have enjoyed about the Mason Creek series that there are multiple tropes and authors so when I saw that Ms.Black had written a book in this series I jumped at the chance to read. Set in the small town of Mason Creek, this book was an emotional roller coaster of a read.
This is single mum Lenora (Leni) and Malcolm ‘s story and it ticked the boxes for me. Having met Leni and her son Trace in a previous book I was excited when I learnt that Perfect Kiss was her story. There is something about small towns and single parent stories that resonates with me.
From the moment Malcolm sets eyes on Leni he is drawn to her, in fact she is everything he never knew he wanted and that makes the story all the more interesting. Can Malcolm convince Leni to let him in and take a chance on him? Will he be able to accept Trace and be the father he needs? As their friendship builds and blossoms into love, it was heartwarming to watch their journey. I loved the relationship that Malcolm forged with Trace and it was fabulous to catch up on previous couples in the series.
Mason Creek has quickly become one of my favourite series and I look forward to reading

If you read the previous book in the series from Kaylee Ryan then you met the two Abbott sisters, Leni and Laken. Kaylee wrote Perfect Embrace which starred Laken and Grayson. In her book we get a small glimpse of Malcolm, the playboy mayor and meet her new to town sister, Leni.

This book by Lacey Black stars single mom, Leni who runs a cleaning service in town and she has been living back in Mason Creek for over 6 months now. She ends up getting a gig to clean city hall and thats when she meets the playboy mayor, Malcolm. And lets just say that she sees why women throw themselves at him, at first glance.

This was a sweet, hot, charming and romantic story about finding your prince even if he is tarnished a little with a playboy rep and an annoying kinda-ex. Its also about taking a risk for love and finding out who you are and where you belong and letting love in. Its very light reading but I loved reading about Malcolm and Leni's romance and I adored her son Trace and how awesome Malcolm was with him.

I received a complimentary early release copy of this e-book from the author prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Perfect Kiss is the ninth addition to the Mason Creek series. After reading about Lenora in Perfect Embrace, Kaylee Ryan’s contribution to this series, I was eager to read her story and it didn’t disappoint.
Perfect Kiss is a fast paced, small town romance, featuring Lenora and Malcolm and their story is a sexy, heartfelt, slow burn romance. Their meet cute is awkward, but also quite memorable.
Malcolm is the mayor of Mason Creek, and a lawyer who works with his family’s firm, who has a well-earned reputation as a ladies’ man. He’s charming, charismatic, caring and determined when he sets his mind to going after what he wants.
Lenora otherwise known as Leni is a single mother to five-year-old Trace, and recent return to the town of Mason Creek. An endearing heroine, who is kind, loyal, thoughtful and curvy. She’s driven and hardworking, owning and running her own cleaning business, and the town laundromat. She’s been burned in the past and is reluctant to put her faith in someone with Mal’s reputation.
The chemistry between this pair is undeniable, and overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this engaging romance and ninth addition to the Mason Creek series.

I swear Lacey Black knows how to touch my heart every single time I read her books .
This small town romance left me with the biggest smile on my face.

I loved Leni and Malcom. Her strength and doing what she enjoyed was such an attractive feature. I loved the refined Playboy that Malcom turned out to be. His adoration for her son only intensified his hotness level.

All in all this sure is a perfect summer read. It was low drama, full of funny banter and a whole lot swoony moments - what more could you ask for?!

3.5 stars! Honestly based on the previous books in this series I wasn’t all that excited to read about Malcolm, the womanizer politician. But in this book we see him with Leni and her son, Trace, and it’s so heartwarming! We know Leni from Perfect Embrace, the book right before this one. She is Laken’s older sister. We see how different Malcolm actually is from his reputation around town. This book does start off VERY interesting and I loved Malcolm’s interactions with Trace! Overall I didn’t enjoy this book as much as the others but still definitely a good read and a can’t miss to keep up with all the residents of Mason Creek.

I love the town of Mason Creek, and each book gets a little better. The author brings all the finer parts of small town living to the reader—the playboy Mayor and the single mom, with the best meet-cute, ever.

Malcolm is the Legacy Mayor with Senate aspirations but loves women. Lenora or Leni is our single mom who has recently returned to town after being away. They have no business being together, but the chemistry is, wow! Until the past shows up.

Perfect kiss is a quick read, with lots of laughs, gossip, town busybodies, and a strong female lead in Leni. I am excited for the next book.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

I’ve been reading Ms. Black’s books since I got my first kindle when I was a teenager, so basically around 10 or so years ago. And with every book I can’t help but smile bigger when I finish! Malcom, Leni, and Trace were perfection!! I was excited for Leni’s story after we got to know her a little better in Perfect Embrace. And to see Malcolm basically brought to his knees after knowing he could be a man whore just makes me smile. Plus we got to go back to Mason Creek! This book is amazing, just like it’s author!

5 Stars!

The Mason Creek Series is back with its next standalone and this author just happens to be of my go-to authors and y'all she did so so so good with her book in this small town romance series.

The Perfect Kiss was all kinds of perfection wrapped with a pretty bow- swoony, sweet, steamy, and packed with all the heart.. all the feels.. all of the everything. Malcolm and Leni were unforgettable in so many moments y'all and whoa. I devoured this baby whole, not stopping for a second once I started this book.

Lacey Black is one of my FAVORITE romance writers and this beauty is one of the exact reasons why she is. Huge fan of this series and how it's been out together and bonus! This has got to be my favorite in this series to date.

I highly recommend this book.

I love my visits to Mason Creek and this book is the perfect addition to this wonderful series of small town romances. This is single mum Lenora (Leni) and Malcolm’s emotional journey, we have met Leni and her son Trace in a previous book and now it’s time to really get to know them. Small towns and single parent romances really hit the spot for me and this story certainly ticked all my boxes.
From the moment Malcolm met Leni he knew she was the one, she is everything he never knew he wanted until that meeting but convincing her to give them a chance is not going to be easy.
Leni will always put her son’s feeling above hers and risking heartbreak for Trace as well as possibly the friendship with Malcolm has her wondering if taking a leap will be worth the risk.
This journey captivated from the first page to the last line, I adored the characters and it was heartwarming to watch the friendship blossom into love, the relationship between Malcolm and Trace gave me goosebumps and it was wonderful to be part of this emotional journey. Perfect Kiss ticked all my boxes and I’m sure it will tick yours as well. Can’t wait for my next visit to Mason Creek.

Jesus.. I don't even know how I thought that this single mom romance will be different.. I usually dont pick up single mom romances for a number of issues... This book had the same old whines..

~ hero compliments her genuinely, but she can't accept it because of insecurity..
~ she loves her son but has trouble accepting her mom body.. Be happy that ur body changed because of ur child, why be so damn unhappy about it? Don't get pregnant then, if you dont want ur body to change..
~ no chemistry between the leads..
~ hero is such a good father figure to the son yet she keeps doubting him and keeps trying to push him away..
~ the real father is ignorant and doesn't care much for his son, yet she wants him to step up..
~ she keeps secrets from the hero and doesn't wanna tel him about important stuff, but she goes and believes a rumor about him without even asking him about it.. N she s reluctant to even ask also.
~ she wants the romance and the hero but she is always with doubts about every damn thing. Don't crave for romance if you are not ready to accept it from good people!

This will be the last single mom book that I pick up for a long long while. Sayonara.

Lacey Black has, once again, proven just how AMAZING she is at writing small-town romance....add in an adorable young boy (Trace), a sexy, single playboy mayor of said small town, a TON of humor (especially the outrageously hilarious meet cute between Leni and Malcolm) and you have PERFECTION!

Mason Creek is the epitome of a small town, with everyone not only knowing everyone, but knowing everyTHING about what goes on! ESPECIALLY when there is a town blog that points out all the important happenings, particularly the love life of a certain mayor! Things are about to get very interesting in Mason Creek when Leni returns to her hometown with her son, Trace, to be closer to her sister after her dead-beat ex vanishes on her! All she wants is to make a good life for her and Trace. She's not looking for a relationship, or love...CERTAINLY not with the mayor of Mason Creek, who's playboy reputation is no secret! As for Malcolm, he is perfectly happy with his life just the way it is, thank you very much, and has no intention of getting "involved" with anyone beyond the occasional booty call!

I LOVED everything about this swoony, a teeny bit angsty, completely enjoyable love story! The journey to Leni and Malcolm's HEA is one FILLED with emotion, and in typical Lacey Black fashion, one that has you hooked from beginning to end! Ms. Black has a way of creating supporting characters that makes you feel like you're right there, involved in the heart of the story! It's truly one of my favorite things about reading one of her books! Perfect Kiss is a book that I strongly recommend! 👄👄👄👄👄 Stars, for sure!

So I’ve only read two books in the Mason Creek series, and Perfect Kiss is one of the two. The other one was Perfect Embrace by Kaylee Ryan (which I loved). I was so curious about Laken’s (Perfect Embrace) sister, and I am so relieved that Lacey Black was the one that got to do this single mom justice. With that said, let’s jump into why this is a 5 STAR book.

I am a FOREVER fan of this authors writing. She has a way of snagging your attention and keeping it firmly in place until you’re left begging for more. Perfect Kiss captivated me from the very beginning, even though I was a little worried that the soul focus would be a Political one, spoil alert it wasn’t. Perfect Kiss is an Lacey Black original that held great development and the look into a single moms life. Huge props to this author for Leni’s blue collar job.

Black is known for the hilarity of her content and Perfect Kiss was an testament to that. The flow was absolutely fantastic. It was like every page that I flipped, I fell just as hard as Malcom. I loved to see the change in him as those pages flipped as well. Now that I am four paragraphs deep, I’m just going to put it out there. Perfect Kiss has EVERYTHING that makes it a 5 star. From the content, to the chemistry. From the chemistry to well… EVERYTHING.
This is one book that should not be missed.

* I RECOMMEND

So Mason Creek is a small town with a big heart. Visiting Mason Creek is like coming home.

So here we have Mason Creek's mayor with a playboy reputation, falling hard for small business owner Lenora and her cute as a button son Trace. It goes to show that finding the one person who completes you is worth the wait. From the moment Leni walks in on him naked he is done for. No-one else matters to him. The problem though with small town living is that everyone knows everyone's business so it is difficult to develop a relationship under the town's scrutiny.

Leni has returned home to be closer to her family after being left by Trace's father. Building a cleaning business enables her to do something she enjoys whilst providing her the flexibility to care for her young son.

What I love most about Malcolm is that he not opens his heart to Leni but to Trace as well. He incredibly kind, generous and patient with the boy, giving him time, attention and unconditional love. Nothing sexier in my eyes.

For the most part, this was drama free. The drama that did raise its head did create the uncertainty needed in the relationship before they realised that they are perfect for each other. I felt as though as I was wrapped in a favourite blanket whilst reading this, embraced by it's comfort and friendliness. A great feel good read.

Perfect Kiss is my favorite book from the Mason Creek series yet! Malcolm and Leni's story was just perfect from their cute meet to the last word in the book!

Malcolm is the mayor of Mason Creek and the man everyone wants. But he doesn't do relationships. Anything more than a roll in the bed and he's out. Leni is a single mother just trying to get by. She's not looking for a relationship.

From the moment they meet while he's in his office restroom changing and she walks in on him naked I was hooked on their story. These two are opposites in almost every way but they balance each other out perfectly. Add in Leni's son and I was hooked. Black adds just the right amount of everything into this book. She isn't overly dramatic or steamy. She just sprinkles the right amount.

In small towns people talk. And in Mason Creek they really talk. It doesn't take long for people to figure out they're a couple. It takes even less time for Malcolm's favorite hook-up to get mad. A misguided view and a bar can really mess up a relationship. Perfect Kiss reminds us that if you have a question, ask it. Don't assume and don't wait. You may not get another chance.

Perfect Kiss is the perfect, sweet, small town romance.

Review:-
Small town romance alert!!
I signed up for this particular ARC because I love the single parent trope very much and this book certainly did not disappoint.

Malcolm is the town mayor who wishes to get out of the smalltown one day and is a somewhat reformed player , very devoted to his work and oh so dreamy.
I loved the way he was with Trace cuz it was just so adorable.

Leni is a single mom of her five year old Trace and owns a laundromat and also does cleaning around the town.
She is very hardworking and determined and is not looking for a relationship but does that bother Malcolm?
Oh hell no.
She and her son are a package deal for anyone and Malcolm gladly accepts them.

Their first time meeting eachother is just awkward and tension filled with a pinch of humour too.!!!
Their love is an insta-love which I don't really like because they just dont have the heat but this one had heat….a sufficient amount of heat.
Perfect kiss is a fast paced small town romance but this couple had really cute moments and they do have a HEA but not without any roadblocks.

This is my first read by Lacey Black and it was a good one.
The book is out now so go get your copies!!

DELIGHTFUL STORY!!!!😍😍😍😍😍

I loved this book!!!! It was PERFECT!!! I adored Lenora, Trace and Malcolm they were all such wonderful characters. Lenora and Malcolm's relationship was so sweet, swoony, and heartwarming! The story grabbed me from the first page and I couldn't put it down! Who needs sleep when you have a new Lacey Black book, right?? The story flowed along beautifully as they got to know each other and the way that Malcolm embraced Trace immediately and treated him so lovingly just gave me the warm fuzzies throughout the entire story. I am glad the angst was kept to a minimum, I feel that oftentimes authors ruin the mood of a book by creating chapter after chapter of unnecessary angst... I was so happy that Lacey didn't do that to this book because it was such a delightful story of kindness, caring, and growing love that it made my heart smile. Thank you Lacey for the epilogue.... It was a treat that I wish more authors would give us! I highly recommend this book it will make you smile, laugh, and sigh in contentment at the how romantic and perfect a story it is!😇

This is the 9th book in this series and I am loving this series so much!

This one features Malcom, the town Mayor who we have met in previous books, and Leni who we met in book 8 when she returned to town.

These two couldn't be more opposite. Malcom is a hot young mayor who is aspiring to be a Senator and leave the small town behind, he is a ladies man never committing to anyone. Leni is a single mum to a gorgeous little boy and after leaving town has move home to be near her family. When they meet its one seriously hot meet/cute and honestly it made me giggle.

Malcom never saw Leni coming but its not long before she, along with her son, has opened his eyes to something he never wanted before. He just needs to convince her to give him a shot and prove he has hung up his playboy ways.

Well done Lacey on a brilliant addition to this series. It was filled with heart, emotion and steam. Once you start you will not want to put it down until you have devoured it.

This series just gets better and better! I love How each author puts their own magical twist on the small quaint town we now know as Mason Creek. Leni has recently moved back to town and now owns the local laundromat and has a cleaning business. Leni has an adorable son named Trace and a baby daddy that’s never around. Malcolm wears a lot of hats, he is the town playboy, he is part of his family’s law business and he happens to be Mason Creeks Mayor. When an unfortunate incident happens in Malcolm’s office these two set the town on fire with their chemistry. When Malcolms playboy ways catch up with him and her past shows up on her front door, what happens next? This was an amazing quick read that was very entertaining and very fast paced, just the way I like a good book. Lacey gave us enough of the nosy town’s people to keep us laughing out loud and definitely wanting more. I will Definitely be checking out more books by this author. As always I can’t Wait until for the next book in this series!

Another great addition to the Mason Creek series. This one is beautifully written about a single mom and her little boy who fall hard for someone who is completely opposite from them. But Lacey writes it so beautifully that you cant help but fall in love with these characters. I absolutely love the storyline of the single mom just trying to do what is best for her son and provide for him. I absolutely loved Lenora's character. She is strong, stubborn and set in her ways. But Malcom comes along and makes her think differently about herself. Which is absolutely amazing. I love the relationship between those two and the relationship that Malcom has with her son Trace is the icing on the cake for me when it comes to this storyline. It was amazing from beginning to end. There is a part of the book where I wanted to throw my kindle across the room because there is a misunderstanding. But keep turning the page and you realize that you get what you are hoping for. A happy ending. Lacey tells an amazing story that I highly recommend one clicking.
