Daniella Moyle’s memoir One Girl’s Search for Meaning was an instant bestseller. She was widely praised for her honesty and openness about her experience of burnout and anxiety, of how her quest to have it all left her with a life that felt empty and meaningless, and how she recovered by taking time out to look at who she really was and uncover whose expectations she was trying to fulfil. If you too are struggling to find meaning, build better relationships, or if you simply want to live your one precious life with more purpose, Jump Start is here to help. Daniella combines her own experience and training in psychology to help you take your own journey of self-compassion, discovery and growth so you can find your true purpose and a life of fulfilment and contentment.
I found this very interesting, it really was in a way a beginners guide to journalling but it also gave some really good insights into behaviours and how we are the ways that we are. I found Daniella so easy to listen to, her tone is so gentle and encouraging and this book was certainly like a hand holding experience in a way. I already knew her story from reading her book ‘Jump’ so this was like a walk along of how she handled certain things in her life and how we could use the techniques for our own situations. Definitely insightful and well written, you could feel the research and love that went into this for sure
