Total BS. Trivial, inaccurate waste of time.

This is one of those books without any substance. Not only is there not anything new here, the writing is at odds with descriptions and conclusions drawn by real experts in systems theory from MIT, The Santa Dr Institute, Carnegie Mellon, and other Scientists and Mathematician world-wide. It is obvious that someone who wanted to profit on the concept of "systems" simply went through a bunch of material he didn't understand, and cobbled together a "book" and sold it on Amazon. If you read this book you will be more ignorant than when you started. No footnotes. No endnotes. No references. No diagrams. No index. No bibliography. Lousy editing. Ripoff!

Thinking approach for the 21st century

The author starts by explaining what systems thinking is. It is the looking at the interconnectedness between humans, technology, society etc. I think that way of thinking, as explained by the author, is soncrucial to navigating the 21st century. I found the author's contrast of analysis (breaking down a problem into parts and looking at the oarts individually) and synthesis (looking at how all things influence each other positively and negatively to look for a more holistic solution). I found myself agreeing with the author. I definitely enjoyed reading this book.

Quick read

This book is packed with information. The author explains system thinking in six terms. I was very intrigued with the concept of looking beyond the iceberg and just how system thinking can help with this kind of deep thinking.
