Leonardo da Vinci was one of the most important artists and thinkers of the Italian Renaissance. During his lifetime, from 1452 to 1519, Leonardo was a painter, a sculptor, a musician, an inventor, a mapmaker, an engineer, and an architect. This engaging narrative introduces readers to Leonardo’s life story through his drawings and paintings. They will learn about Leonardo’s apprenticeship, his drawings and writings in notebooks, his fresco The Last Supper, his painting entitled the Mona Lisa, and his plans for the Great Horse monument for the Duke of Milan.

very remarkable book for a short bio,I checked it out from the children section of the library...I'm already fascinated with Leonardo Da Vinci so this book increased my studies on him....it also shows vivid pictures that were unseen in other research...his bedroom in Cloux Ambois,France particularly caught my attention because it looked so fancy and rich....I took a photo of it out of the book...I wanna somehow recreate that bedroom for my dream house in my lifetime if possible. I recommend this read to anyone
