Soul cry

This book was an awesome read. Jalen treated his wife as if she was nothing when he was not in the pulpit. He was a pastor who thought he could have mistresses, a wife and a church and little did he know that he was going to loose it all. He left his wife to be with his twins mother whom the wife didn't know that the same woman that she disliked was the same woman in church whom bared his kids. After having miscarriages of your own you see that your husband has 2 kids to throw in your face and speak to you as if it is your fault that you can't have kids. Then a gentleman you meet comes into your life under different pretenses and change all of that. God was not pleased with all that Jalen had done to his wife. Preachers in the pulpit are sometimes the devil in disguise. Awesome read.

What an awesome read! Jamaika’s story is heartbreaking because she is married to a wife abuser, cheater, killer, and pastor. She tried so much to stay with this awfully horrible monster-preacher, but at every turn he beat her physically or beat her down emotionally. He does finally let her go on her way. Jamaika needs to find herself after the abuse she has endured. Pastor Jalen has everybody fooled or covering for him. But he’s a non-human monster.
