The focus of this book is on Ryanne as she builds her reverse harem consisting of Gage, Tyler, Brandis, and Eranear. The only thing she can count on right now is her connection with the panther shifter, wolf shifter, incubus, and bear shifter who pulled the arrow out of her. There is a mystery that will become apparent as the story continues to unfold. This is the second book or episode of the Midnight Huntress. It was action packed throughout and had some very steamy bits to keep the romance side moving along with the mystery of who Ryanne really is. The counsel might have been infiltrated by beings causing trouble, but we don't know yet. The main characters are all on the side of good and are protective of humans and each other. They are trying to figure out who the criminals are and get them behind bars. Not all is as it seems to this point. I am ready to read the next book, Coveted.

This was a great sequel and I am impatient to read the next in the series. I enjoyed seeing the characters as they seek answers and discover more about each other. New elements and events give way to more questions and they are coming to terms with what is going on and happening with being more than one male interest in the story. I am enjoying this work and am definitely looking forward to the next.

I give this a four out of five stars.

If Ryanne's life was not difficult enough, being shot with an arrow has just kicked it up a notch. This part of the sage is hot, steamy and oh so much that it will keep you on the edge of your seat.

There are question flying around that Ryanne, Tyler, and Gabe are trying to uncover. It is not helping that she feeling a pull to all the guys, and they think she is their mate. Danger lurks around the corner, and people are not who they seem to be. Can't wait to find out what happens next.

Super hot
This is a brilliant second book. We learn so much more about Ryanne and I’m so glad that Tyler finally comes out of his shell and wooohooo I was surprised to see the real hot bossy Tyler he makes my heart beat faster!!! The connections are getting so much stronger!!!!

I downloaded Courted, the second novella of the Midnight Huntress series, through Kindle Unlimited. This 105 page novella was full of surprises--some awesome twists and turns. I dislike the serial novella style but it's do-able with my KU subscription. The plot is progressing nicely.

Courted, a very well-written book 2 in The Midnight Huntress Book Series is a good read with great characters. This series builds a great world with well-fleshed out characters and female lead who does not need to choose from her suiters. These characters have depth, personality, and strength in this action-packed story. It has twists, turns, intrigue, chemistry, romance, and love. This must read story is a good continuation of this wonderful story. This is the second part in a romance story in the paranormal mates genre. This story include steamy scenes between sexy alpha males and their sassy, strong-willed mate.
