Actually I was surprised how much I enjoyed the Agent and the Assassin and their slowly developing friendship. And I agree that the agent could/should write a book on kidnapping.
Gilbert has produced a high-octane thriller series without the unnecessary violence or vulgar language so common to many thriller series. Some parts were predictable, but overall, I found it hard to know exactly where she was going. An original sequence of stories; very entertaining read. Definitely recommended!
