Haunting, captivating, and bold in it's presence. Palmer uses the power of classical poetry plus modern vernacular to create a beautiful balance of identity and self in her poems.
Fans of Trista Mateer, Rupi Kaur, and Megan Fernandes will enjoy this collection.
My favorite poems are: "Neva Scared", "A Psalm for the Gray Hair in My Mirror", and "And Maybe, Community."
