This novel got me so hooked the entire time. It's a transmigration/reborn story with revenge and a lot of face-slapping. I know that the author really took advantage of the MC's knowledge of rebirth to give him so much golden finger so even though there are a lot of grievances that have to be paid in the present timeline from the villains, it's relatively smooth-sailing for the MC.
Readers who are not into age gap romance, turn around and walk away. MC and ML have 20-year age gap so if you still choose to read it and then rate it low because of that aspect, it's no longer the novel's problem. Glad that I'm not sensitive with age gap romance, as long as both parties are adult, and this novel doesn't have any problem with that. And added to the fact that ML, who's the older one, was clearly described in a very pleasant and attractive way, I have this clear picture of this couple in my mind that just couldn't make me not want to ship them.
It's kind of abrupt though with the mpreg aspect because I was not aware that some male from this world can conceive. It's a modern world, not even an omegaverse and it was not clearly stated from the beginning about the mpreg. That's why when the MC declared to the ML that he was willing to get pregnant, I was shocked. Not a problem for me though because having a cute and adorable little baobei in the story is never a problem for me.
I was hoping that the ML found out about the MC's rebirth though, but unfortunately, he remained unaware. Still, loved the dynamic between the MC and ML. The tender yet passionate love between them just makes me so engaged. It's not common to see an MC falling in love first in a danmei but I loved this. I hoped to read more novels with that trope.

The story itself is not very special, quite a slice of life. The main point of difference is the big age gap and the misleading title. He is not that old as title implies, so don’t worry. But yes, there is an age difference.
The story is a bit of revenge, face slapping while having main focus on MC trying to have a good life with ML. Also, some career episodes, but some things are not realistic, so don’t take it too much to heart.
The relationship. They are definitely quite nice. It changes between lovers and child/elder from time to time, but it’s not bad. They speak, support and understand each other. Not toxic, no misunderstandings to drive to plot, no dog blood drama. Fluff mostly. Also, a child care. BE AWARE of mpreg tag. It’s not ABO, just an mpreg.
This story is mostly a one time read for me, but it’s a relaxing and cute read. I’ve enjoyed it and it put my heart at ease after more dramatic novels. Recommend to give it a go.

The plot is quite interesting. I was up until 2 in the morning trying to finish this one. This is an ongoing translation by the way. At the moment, the last 13 chapters are not yet translated so I read the MTL version of them.😅
I also like the secondary characters and the aromatherapy and perfume industry dicussed in the book. There is an mpreg trope here which is a cute part on the book for me.😊

The synopsis is interesting. Unfortunately, the story is easy to predict. Like the story of Danmei Ceo, who met him for the first time and immediately liked + revenge after repeating reincarnation.
The MC from beginning to end thinks about revenge. ML is also so jealous. The writing style is like a beginner's wattpad story, like a dream type to just be a CEO partner.

I would say that this is a very light read for such a heavy theme. I enjoy how we were not only following the mc throughout his revenge plot but also his love story and how he was living his best lives.
Meng Yang felt, although no one could not choose their own birth, everyone should have the right to choose their own life. Parents bringing their children into this world was the parents' unilateral choice, not the children's choice. Parents had the responsibility to teach their children independent thinking and independent ability. They had the obligation to nurture and teach their children before they reach adulthood. Even if it was a life that was countless times better than ordinary people, it was still something the parents themselves were willing to give, rather than it was something the child asked them to give before or after birth. So it shouldn't be a reason for parents to control their children’s freedom of marriage just because they were born to them.
Next, love Meng Yang for always being an amazing support for Luo Xiu. His thoughts about filial culture are very much needed, especially in this context where milking tf out of your kid’s considered as a repayment for giving birth to you.
Overall, I never expected something extraordinary to happen in the story so I pretty much liking everything.

Siento que este tipo de historias comienza muy bien, pero inevitablemente en algún punto todo se vuelve monótono y nada divertido de leer.
No hablo tanto del romance, porque solo Satán sabrá cuánto me encantan las historias donde MC y ML no tienen nada de drama entre ellos y se apoyan todo el tiempo, sino del resto de sus vidas.
Todo les sale perfecto, no se esfuerzan, la solución a todos sus problemas les llega mágicamente por el solo hecho de amarse. Como si la idea de reencarnar o de transmigrar de repente les diera el halo del protagonista súper evidente.
Eso hace que los otros personajes, incluidos la carne de cañón, parezcan más pobres idiotas que escorias reales de las que deberían vengarse.
Sí, al principio estuvo muy bien. Existen las ganas de que los antagonistas sufran por lo que hicieron en el pasado. Luego, es simplemente venganza y humillación gratuita, porque son ricos y pueden. De repente parece que el autor se da cuenta de que en realidad sus personajes malvados no están haciendo nada que merezca que los sigan atacando y se saca otro arco muy mal logrado para golpearlos un poco más. No había sido suficiente, parece.
Dos estrellas porque, a pesar de todo, me encanta la pareja. La historia se me hizo repetitiva y aburrida.

So good! I love revenge stories and this one was really well done. I loved the MC, the way he handled everything was so satisfying. The world building was unique, it felt like the book started at a random part but it wasn't a bad thing weirdly enough. The focus of the book being aromatherapy was so different than anything I have ever read. It was entertaining, if not super unrealistic but it's a fictional book, like whatever.
I read this book so fast, it was just that good. One critique (SLIGHT SPOILER):
I kind of wish he told Luo Xiu about the past life. I do like that he managed to overcome his fears related to the past but I just think it would have been nice to see them talk about it. Ameee el libro demasiado, lo releeria si es posible, me encanto como el protagonista ya no volvio a ser el mismo y no se dejo manipular por su familia y el otro protagonista lo trataba muy lindo, me encanto su relacion.
El ex de el protagonista era una mierda, estaba re loco y el "hermano" del protagonista que se quedo con el ex, se creia el centro del universo, queria para él, todo lo que el protagonista tenia, me estresaba que todo le envidiaba, estaba loquisimo, por eso me encanto, le ponia ese algo al libro

A story about life, jealousy, revenge, reincarnation .these types of stories teach you indirectly ,make you believe that there is a power of redemption, second chances, new beginnings .Karma exists! But most of all, what is meant to be will happen .love as a basis for overcoming, is something undeniable .

As soon as the "revenge" plot was over, the author dropped the ball. The last 20 chapters or so had new characters introduced and hinted at potential conflict and new drama, but then ended just like that. Not a rushed end but just "The End". The author dropped the story just like that. At least they had the decency to wait for the MC to get home from his vacation and then they dropped the "From now on, they'll always be happy. THE END" 😂 Why bother dragging things out in the first place?

My guilty pleasure is reading a completely unorthodox revenge danmei with faceslapping plot-line and terrible romance (the flirty dialogues really were so cringe here). I think I went into it after turning off my brain cause goddamn I can’t believe I read that soap opera story and still completed it cause it was hilariously immature.

No hay una conclusión, no hay un aftermath. Solo se queda en nada. Imagina que los malos reciben un castigo.

3.5, but because it fit my slice of life mood so I bumped up the rating. Story is your typical reincarnation cannon fodder realisation novels, with OP aromatherapy skills. It’s a light filler read with some good face slapping.

Es un libro muy cliché pero me encantó, definitivamente es un libro ideal para sacarte de un bloqueo lector
