Legend has it, the man you kiss at a wedding is the man you’ll marry.
In my case, it’s nothing but trouble...

Spencer Carrollton is a dark-haired, hazel-eyed beast.
When I collided with him at my cousin’s wedding, I wasn’t looking for love.
But his naughty eyes flashed, his full lips curled into a knowing smile, and I should have run.
I didn’t.
I kissed him instead.

Then he gave me a job when I needed it the most.
I never get involved with clients, but Spencer Carrollton is wickedly handsome in a bespoke suit.
He’s devastatingly sexy out of it.
He’s possessive, demanding, and the best sex I’ve ever had.

He’s an arrogant billionaire, who thinks I’ll fall at his feet, but I’m not going down that road again.
Until he pulls me out of danger and insists I move in with him to be safe.
As the nights pass and we grow closer, I know I’m losing this fight.
Spencer Carrollton always gets what he wants.
The trouble is, he wants me.

(TROUBLE is a STAND-ALONE, enemies-to-lovers, billionaire-boss romance. No cheating. No cliffhanger.)

"We’re going somewhere I’ve never been, and even when I fight, I still go back to her."
This was my first book by Tia Louise, and I got it after reading the blurb. I'm really lucky when it comes to that: every time that happens, I love the book, and most times I fall in love with the author's writing. I loved Tia's writing and I'll definitely be coming back for more.

I was hooked from start to finish. I fell in love with Spencer and Joselyn. It would be hard not to.

“I’m nobody’s fucking hero. Not even my own.”
Spencer is a lot of things. He's wealthy and distant, cold and collected, grumpy and broody, and alone, because he chooses to be. Not that he can't find a woman to share his bed, but that's all he wants. His past is pretty much messed up, the people in his life messed him up, and he can't break that cycle. Having gone a bit through what he did, I felt for him. But he is also protective, kind, and vulnerable – not that he'd ever show it.

"She is that fucking ember melting my walls."
Joselyn is the kind of heroine I enjoy reading about. She's strong and sassy. She's been through a relationship with an asshole, and she realizes she allowed herself to become a pushover for him, unwillingly, so that's not happening anymore. She swears off men for a year, but not all men are assholes. Or maybe she's found her particular brand of asshole in Spencer. And that's one she's willing to fight for, and one that is going to rock her world.

"When I kissed Joselyn’s lips and gazed into her eyes that morning, I had a startling realization—I wanted to be the man she believed me to be."
They meet at her friend's Daisy's wedding. Joselyn's there alone, and she doesn't intend for anything to happen. But it's there from the first time they meet, and I loved that they didn't necessarily like each other from the start. It's Mr. Freeze and the fiery redhead. The first kiss they share is hot, and their chemistry is off the charts. I love the two of them together. The sex between them is scorching, Spencer is hot as hell, and Joselyn gives as good as she gets.
Have I mentioned I love heroines who own their sexuality, know what they want, and aren't afraid or too timid to act on it?

"The real lesson I learned from this man is love must be shared with something that can be lost. (...) Love becomes priceless when you have to earn the right to keep it. True love takes risk. It takes vulnerability. Only then have you found something irreplaceable."
While their story is going on, there's another story taking place in the background. Something that is happening to one of Joselyn's friends and that is a bit related to Spencer's past. It felt so real that it was heartbreaking and infuriating. I felt like punching the walls, and I felt like hugging people. Ollie, her friend's son, was adorable with his obsession with tree frogs. Joselyn's mom was the kind of mom you'd like to have, so open and easy to talk to.

"I want to give you what they never did. I want to be there for you, to make you laugh and bring you in from the cold."
I loved that they were fighting for each other without even realizing it. Joselyn is trying to break down his walls so he'd let her in, Joselyn is fighting hard not to fall completely for him, Joselyn is absolutely failing at that, and letting herself fall deeper. But Spencer is dealing with his own demons, with his past, with the people and the things that made him what he is, and he is fighting those demons for her. Because of her. Because he knows she's worth it.
And even though he may not be very good at love, if that's not love, I don't know what is.

"This man is the best kind of trouble. He’s the kind that belongs to me."
In the end, their happily ever after is just right. It's what they both needed. They both needed someone in their lives they knew would fight for them, be there for them, through thick and thin. Who would do whatever it took, and who wouldn't leave.
This is the kind of trouble everyone would like in their lives.

I couldn’t fully connect with the characters nor with their relationship.

How could the strong and sassy heroine have been expecting a marriage proposal from her ex-boyfriend when they “hadn’t had sex in three months. I knew he was sleeping with someone else.” 😳
So she came up with the statement “That’s it. No men for a year.”
After a few weeks she was in bed with Spencer and later was secretly anticipating for a relationship with him.
And not only!!!! “I want to strangle him… When I’m not dreaming of having his babies.”
And of course she loved him!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Oh Spencer... “I don’t sleep with the same woman more than once. I do fucking. Nothing more.” This mantra was so repetitive throughout the story, I wanted to smash my tablet! 🙄🙄

I tried so much... until I couldn’t anymore and dnf it @ 53%.

Wow, just such a fantastic book. Tia Louise is a one-click author for me. She has yet to disappoint me. I absolutely adore Spencer and Jocelyn. Trouble is now one of my favorites from this author; She put in her A-game. Of course, my favorite, Alice, is in the book. She is such a hoot.

Jocelyn and Spencer are a hot mess from the beginning, now reunited at Daisy’s wedding. He offers her a night she refused because of her deadbeat boyfriend. Sometime later, she still thinks about what would have happened. Things happen; she breaks up with the deadbeat, and she is now faced with him again and asks if that night still applies. Man, do things heat from there, so spicy. Spencer is upfront and doesn’t want a relationship, and Jocelyn does. But Spencer can’t get her out of his system.

Spencer is an alpha billionaire with demons; he cold and comes off very brass. His nickname is Mr. Freeze. His back story is heartbreaking, and he is partially a product of his environment. Deep down, he is caring. I was swooning over Him and Ollie together.

Jocelyn Aka Sly is my favorite heroine from this author. I love how she wrote her character and how she handled Spencer's demons. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and family. Very independent, funny, and protective to the ones she loves almost to a fault.

Overall this is a phenomenal book, which gave me all the feels. Tia Louise has such a beautiful way with words, delivers an emotional book along with some humor. I read this book in one sitting and enjoyed it. If you like a sassy heroine and grumpy hero, this book is for you.

Genre: Contemporary Romance

This man is the best kind of trouble. He's the kind that belongs to me.

After reading Twist of Fate, I knew I wanted to get my hands on the hot piece of ass that is Spencer. Although you don't have to read Twist of Fate to read this book, some of the characters and relationships will mean more if you do. The thing between Spencer and Joselyn was very obvious from the other book and it was so friggin' interesting to finally dive into their story. And this book didn't disappoint. It pulled me in from the very first page and the more I read, the more hooked I was.

It's no wonder Joselyn stole my heart. She's the same as this crazy town, the best kind of antique, the quirky kind that only gets better with age.

Spencer is hot, intimidating, possessive, honest, and protective alpha with a harsh past that still torments him. Just how I like them. But along with his badass alpha exterior, there is also a vulnerability to him, which Joselyn brings about. Joselyn is strong, sassy, smart and loveable. She gives as good as she gets. She is a heroine I could get on board with 'cause she is no pushover. Spencer and Joselyn are so good together. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I wanted more buildup. They jumped into bed so soon (around 18%). I wanted more interactions, more sexual tension before their first time. And Joselyn was having thoughts like I love him very early on, so again I wanted more buildup.

I'm the magnet and he's the steel. I'm fire to his ice.

Joselyn's insults were just hilarious — I hope the worst day for your past is the best day of your future, I hope everyone you shake hands with has moist hands, I hope every time you use hand sanitizer you have a paper cut — like damn, I'm definitely using them. I also really enjoyed reading about Ollie and his creepy frog obsession that drives Joselyn insane. And Courtney (Joselyn's friend) and Tom (their bodygaurd) were amazing; I'm a sucker for a good bodygaurd trope.

I’m also a sucker for sassy women and grumpy men, and characters I can relate to. Tia Louise checked every one off the list with a finesse very few can pull off. There are a few nuisances that got to me and that is why I didn't give it a 5 stars but it did hit the spot so I was happy. Overall, this book was a quick, entertaining read filled with love, heartbreak, and laughter.

He's my beast, my frozen savior who rescued me, but who I also rescued from a lifetime of loneliness. He's the man of my dreams, the fierce, wounded prince saved by love. He's the kind of trouble I never want to be without.

Joselyn Winthrop is a woman from a small town in South Carolina. She's a massage therapist who is also extremely talented with flowers. She's fresh off a breakup and trying to sort out her path when she's offered a job by a man she's wildly attracted to. She needs the work, but she doesn't get involved with clients. She will have to resist the irresistible, broody Spencer Carrollton, and try to put the unforgettable moment they shared at her cousin's wedding out of her mind. She doesn't do trouble, and he could be very dangerous to her heart.

Spencer Carrollton is an antiques dealer in South Carolina. The intense, bossy, arrogant billionaire isn't exactly known for his sunny disposition. He can be demanding and everything in his life is controlled. He doesn't believe in love, or do commitments or emotions. He keeps his heart locked up tight, and casual is all he can ever offer. He doesn't pursue women often that he can't predict, and is used to getting what he wants. Then he meets a feisty redhead who breaks down all his carefully constructed walls. One kiss and she's under his skin. Sparks fly and he can't stop thinking about her. She captured his attention and is breaking all his rules. She's a strong, confident woman that challenges him at every turn. He doesn't do complicated, but she's more than he bargained for, and makes him feel way too much!

-It's been a long time since a man seduced me. I could use a bit of seduction.

-I remember what he can be like when he stops being cold. It's addictive, and as angry as he makes me, I want to feel his warmth again.

Trouble by Tia Louise is a standalone frenemies to lovers, billionaire-boss romance full of chemistry, passion, and witty banter. I've wanted more of the sexy, wound too tight Spencer since we met him in Twist of Fate, and he did not dissapoint. This cocky, possessive alpha has so much more below the surface. I loved all the sides of Spencer and really enjoyed his journey to finding his happily-ever-after. <333

This hero was alpha overload in the most delicious ways! I absolutely LOVED Spencer and all his set in stone, never going to change traits. He truly was trouble from the very beginning. What I wasn’t expecting was that Joselyn would be just as much, if not more, trouble for him!

May be an image of 1 person, outdoors and tree

Joselyn was a fiery redheaded bombshell that snagged Spencer’s attention from the very beginning. She kept him on his toes and even while she struggled with her own hurts and desires, she unknowingly strung him along. I loved her fierce loyalty to her friend and the crazy conversations with her friend’s son, Ollie. She was the best kind of friend and real sweetheart as well.

Beauty And The Beast Rose GIF by Ordinary Nadee - Find & Share on GIPHY

Spencer was stalwart in his decision to stay unobligated to any woman. His past had left him with the need to follow a life that was not well rounded, and yet it was the norm for him. My heart bled for him and his past pain as well as the emotional burden Spencer unknowingly carried because of it. But holy heck, after a few interactions with Joselyn, he changed gears directly into jealous and overprotective mode even as he refused to admit he wanted more from her.

This was one hot, yummy read with a storyline that kept me engaged from the very beginning. Once I started, I could not stop. And once I reached the end, I loved it so much I wanted to immediately go back and experience it all over again!

An antique dealer and a massage/physical therapist

Kind of a take on the grumpy/sunshine trope. I wouldn’t consider this really an enemies-to-lovers- they meet and soon after they’re lovers.

Joselyn’s (25) been with her bf for a while and even expects him to propose, but she knows they’re not in the best place since she feels like she’s taking care of him a lot because of his injury (I found this kind of stupid considering that they hadn’t been intimate in months 🙈). She meets Spencer (32) at Daisy‘s (her cousin) wedding. Of course, sparks fly. When they go outside and kiss, she realizes she shouldn’t be doing that considering that she still has a boyfriend. A boyfriend that she catches cheating on her, but luckily she promptly packs up her stuff and moves out.

“Good. He didn’t deserve you.”
A gorgeous smile spreads her full lips, and she shakes her head. “You never even saw him.”
“But I saw you. Any man who would leave you alone looking the way you did is a fucking idiot.”

Spencer isn’t a relationship type of guy. But he can admit that there’s chemistry between him and Joselyn. When he finds out that she likes doing floral arrangements on top of her other qualities, he decides to hire her for a gala that he’s holding in order to increase his business connections. He’s been working with her cousin, Daisy, for a while now, and he’s able to get her phone number to convince her to work for him.

When they meet again and work together, it’s on 🔥😅🥵. This is definitely a fast-burn type of book, which I DEFINITELY appreciated after finishing a FTB book lol. They’re intimate by 17%. Spencer’s obsession with her 🍈 🍈 made me create a new shelf in GR lol. Their chemistry is intense, visceral, and passionate 😅 💦. One look and they felt the 🔥. Annnnd there’s praise kink and biting 👀 yaaasss 👏🏻💁🏻‍♀️. Plus, he uses ice in such a 🥵🔥💦 way 👀.

“God, you feel so good.” For a moment, he stilled, and we both panted in time. My body radiated with orgasm. He pushed me onto my tiptoes, and I bucked my ass involuntarily against him.
“F*ck me…” I begged, unable to wait any longer. “Please… F*ck me.”
“Sin…” He hissed at my ear, jerking the bodice of my dress down so my breasts would spill out into his hands. “My girls.” My eyes rolled back, and I exhaled a laugh at his obsession.

But… the biggest issue is that Spencer won’t sleep with any woman more than once 😬😅; yet his connection to Joselyn tested his resolved. Also, he ends up becoming her massage/physical therapy client when he messes up his back after catching her, and she has ethics to think about when it comes to her clients.

The suspense comes with her friend Courtney’s psycho and abusive ex. They have to navigate fearing for their lives because of it.

Things that I didn’t like/wanted more of
it’s an enemies-to-lovers, but I really didn’t see them as enemies 🤷🏻‍♀️. They had just met at her cousin‘s wedding and worked together a little bit, and suddenly they’re enemies? I didn’t think so. It wasn’t like they were arguing and fighting left and right, which is normal in an enemies-to-lovers book.

Also, when the suspenseful moments happened to Joselyn, it could’ve been drawn out a little bit more😬. I didn’t feel like it was THAT suspenseful when it came to Joselyn (there’s one scene where he attacks her, but luckily she escapes with minimal injuries). When it came to her friend, yeah. We don’t see anything happen, just the aftermath of Courtney’s injuries.

And this is just a preference of mine- if the H is gonna be jp, let him really be jp. The first time he sees her ex around Joselyn, I wanted him to blow a gasket and hulk it out. He does in the END of the book, but I would’ve liked it earlier lol.

Overall, I liked it. Spencer became a protector not only to Joselyn, but to Courtney and her son as well, and I loooved that 🥰. Plus, he stands up to her when her nasty af ex tried to talk ish.

“I’ve never really thought about it before. Until a witchy redhead waltzed into my life with a body to make any man weep and a brain sharp enough to make it all unfair.”

⚠️safety squad⚠️
-no cheating between MCs/no sharing/owd
-prologue has child abuse/father abuse implied:
The suspense has spousal abuse of side character (h’s friend) who also ends up hitting/threatening the h
-h had a bf in the beginning. She walks in after he’s been cheating on her (after she’s kissed the H at the wedding)
-OM- not really omd. Every time the h talks to a guy, even her friends, the H gets Jp and acts like a caveman. He also threatens her ex later on 💁🏻‍♀️
-praise kink/biting
-condom

Trouble is a standalone romance by USA Today bestselling author Tia Louise. It is told from both points of view and ends with a happy ending. Genres: Contemporary Romance Tropes: Friend to Lovers | Small Town Romance

Hero: Spencer Carrollton is a 32-year-old billionaire, antique connoisseur with a dreadful past that’s made mi erect cold and impenetrable walls around his heart. He’s a gruff and intense alpha male with vulnerable heart.

Heroine: Joselyn Winthrop is a 25-year-old sports medicine masseuse with a knack for beautiful topiary statues. She’s sassy and smart and knows how to get under Spencer’s skin.

Plot: Joselyn and Spencer share an electrifying kiss during Daisy’s wedding. After which Spencer hires her for her topiary creation talents, and then for her massage therapy skills. They have rules though, she doesn’t date clients and he never sleeps with the same woman twice, but they keep breaking them because their attraction is undeniable. But Joselyn wants a relationship and Spence doesn’t believe in them.

Feels / Sexiness: Trouble had a delightful blend of a good friends to lovers story. It was fun and sassy, sweet and sexy. Sly and Spence were combustible together. I loved how their relationship unfolded, her vivacity is the perfect counterbalance to Spencer’s demanding alpha. I just loved the way she handles him, and wants to help him feel all the love he didn’t have before.

I enjoyed the splash of small town charm and the secondary characters like Joselyn’s mother and the super cute Ollie (Joselyn’s best friend’s son) with his tree frog obsession.

This was a delicious read with a great plot that had me hooked from start to finish.

As soon as I read "Twist of Fate"...I knew I would sell my limbs to get Spencer's story...And Author Louise got my wish come true... and in the best way possible. Tia Louise is definitely a one click author for me.

Jocelyn and Spencer, my gosh...they were a big mess from the start...met at a wedding and the chemistry between them was palpable from the start.
Spencer was so cold...even his nickname was Mr Freeze. But after knowing his painful upbringing and past, I felt like he is justified in his behavior. How a person who always gets hurts finds the courage to love again?
Jocelyn...Sly...she is just freaking amazing. Apart from being a kickass heroine, she herself taught me some very important lessons in life. And her curses?!😂😂😂 I am definitely going to be using those. So hilarious and a great spin.
I am so in love with this book, another book boyfriend material and top shelf. I laughed, cried then laughed because the HEA was just perfect for them... seriously if you wish to read a book with that perfect balance between hilarious and sobering moments...a great world building and charming characters who will unintentionally make you fall for them...then this is it.

I adored the chemistry Spencer and Joselyn had throughout this story and how it just kept getting stronger with each encounter. I also really liked how Joselyn didn't give in right away to Spencer and actually made him work for her attention a bit. It showed the vulnerable side to Spencer's character which made me love him even more and truly pointed out how perfect these two were together. Their story progressed at a great pace too and gave me so much time to really fall in love with the book since there was a lot that these characters had to work out.

Overall, Tia Louise never fails to make me fall in love with her characters and I am now the proud owner of yet another book boyfriend. Because Spencer is mine, y'all!

Trouble by Tia Louise is a push and pull romance between two characters who are incredibly stubborn but compatible in many ways. This book can be read as a standalone but I felt like I should have read Twist of Fate since Daisy and Scout, Joselyn's cousin and childhood friend, made an appearance. There's also the fact that Joselyn kept mentioning that Spencer saved her, which I'm assuming happened in that book. That was their beginning. I wish we had a recap of that in this book because I had no idea. This book features some popular tropes including a cheating ex-boyfriend, hero who does not know how to love due to past childhood trauma, some frustrating moments between the two due to a lack of communication. Nevertheless, I can say is that Spencer and Sly aka Joselyn had amazing chemistry and they were excellent characters in their own right.
"This is more than scratching an itch or satisfying a primal urge. I don't remember anyone but her. It's only her."

Although Spencer and Joselyn's relationship was a bit rocky at first, I loved how independent, strong, and courageous Joselyn was when dealing with Spencer's issues, her cheating ex-boyfriend, and her best friend's dangerous husband. On the other hand, Spencer is composed, cold, dependable, and completely capable of love despite him thinking otherwise. His childhood had a lot to do with the man he is today. Coming from an abusive home and getting adopted by a man who valued his treasures more than people, it's no wonder that he doesn't know how to love. At one point in the book, I was frustrated by Joselyn because she gave Spencer an ultimatum just because he didn't contact her right away. Ironically, he didn't contact her because he was trying to help her best friend. Thankfully, this discord didn't last too long but I wanted to shake Joselyn for not being understanding of Spencer's actions and behavior.
"Love becomes priceless when you have to earn the right to keep it. True love takes risks. It takes vulnerability. Only then have you found something irreplacable."

In the end, this book was quite enjoyable and I really liked the chemistry between Spencer and Joselyn. That had some incredibly sexy scenes and I would not mind reading more of Tia Louise in the future! Although this book had some rather cliched moments, I still enjoyed my time with it and thought it was a solid summer read. It was rather straightforward and there wasn't a lot of angst involved. If you love reading books where there's a lot of back and forth between the hero and heroine, especially when the female lead is determined to love the male lead but he is confused on how to proceed, then I recommend giving this story a try!

I loved this book so much! I have not read Twist of Fate (I definitely need to!) when Jocelyn and Spencer initially met, but I had no problems following along. Spencer Carrolton, the cold, broody billionaire nicknamed Mr. Freeze meets his match in Jocelyn Winthrop, the spitfire redhead with a heart of gold. Right from the start the chemistry between the two was strong, but they both were not in the right place to start up anything serious. Jocelyn was just ending a horrible relationship and Spencer had a hard rule of sleeping with a woman only once. They did end up having their one explosive night, and since Jocelyn knew his rule she was gone in the morning. Unfortunately for Spencer, he couldn’t quite let her go so a plan was hatched. Things get more complicated when trouble comes her and her friend’s way, his need to protect overrides everything.

These two are just perfect for each other. Spencer with his rough background had closed his heart from love and affection, Jocelyn has all that in spades. There definitely was a lot of push and pull but ultimately their happily ever after was inevitable. What I especially loved was how Jocelyn, even with her strong attraction to Spencer, was no pushover. She knew Spencer had issues with commitment and she knew she was the type of woman who would eventually want a committed relationship so she did not immediately fall at his feet. And her complete loyalty to her friend, Courtney and her son Ollie was amazing. But seeing Spencer with Ollie was the icing on the cake!

Overall, I have to say Trouble is my favorite of all the books I’ve read by this author. This was a 5-star read and I highly recommend it.

Author had a love for mentioning height differences practically every chapter and the h was just ridiculously stupid and impulsive. Here is a woman who claimed to love her career but let a man talk her into being an extra door mat and she was expecting a ring after the many red flags! And please don’t let that man have muscles cause she loses every brain cells and we hear how handsome the man is every damn time! The best part of this book was when the best friend shot her abusive ex.. although the court scene was rushed and unrealistic. The romance between main characters was so dull I won’t even speak about it.

I thought the author’s previous book was good. Well, this one is even better.

I hadn’t seen that much chemistry between two characters in a long time. You feel that Sly and Spencer don’t really like each other at first, but that they experience an irresistible attraction to each other. And the whole book is the story of how they learn to like each other. Seduction, support, understanding, protectiveness… They’ll need to go through all of that–and a couple traumatizing experiences–before they admit their feelings.

There’s been some suspense in This much is true and Twist of fate, but this book takes it to a new level. There’s a real threat at the center of the story right from the beginning, and it’s the catalyst they need to push their relationship further, bit by bit. I felt that the author didn’t really know how to deal with it in the end though.

I loved Spencer as a character. Controlled, cold at the beginning, it was delightful to see how much he’s changed by the end of the story. There’s a lot of passion inside him, that only Joselyn is capable of igniting. And is it ignited! The sexy times will make you fan yourself.

Just know that it is an intense book: intense drama, intense conversations, intense emotions, intense sex. And intense Spencer.

Quickie

- Series: standalone
- Hashtags: #billionaire romance #enemies to lovers #age gap #one night stand
- Triggers: domestic abuse, violence, death
- Main couple: Joselyn Winthrop & Spencer Carollton
- Hotness: 5/5
- Romance: 5/5
- + I loved watching Spencer change
- – I felt the trial part was too rushed

EDIT: the audiobook was great! Both narrators were perfectly cast, and I loved their child voice. The strong emotions of the story were there. Really one of the best out there!

A billionaire alpha and feisty, struggling redhead's romance has all the components for a great love story. And let me just tell you that Spencer did not disappoint.

They first meet at her cousin's wedding and even end up kissing but that's it because she does have a boyfriend. Ten months later, that relationship is kaput and she ends up getting a job working for Spencer's company.

He hasn't been able to get her out of his head and thinks one night will do the trick. The only problem is she high tails it out of there before he wakes up and that drives him crazy! He needs another night.

It was intriguing getting to know Spencer's past and really sad. I liked how Joselyn was able to help him.

There's some crazy drama with Joselyn's roommate. I didn't really care for it but I liked how it made Spencer confront some of his issues.

I thought it ended well. It always made me laugh at how possessive/protective Spencer is.

How is it that each book from Tia Louise just get better and better. Once again Tia has blown me away with her Beauty & the beast/Enemies to Lovers romance. Spencer is the cold, demanding and protective alpha male, and Joselyn (Sly/Sin) the fiery, strong, independent and sassy redhead. Together they are Trouble! The chemistry between Spencer & Sin was hot, and only got hotter the more time they spent together. The banter and humour was hilarious, and it was great catching up with 'friends' from Twist of Fate. Trouble is worth so much more than 5 stars. I highly recommend this as a definite must read.

Kitapta iki unsur sinirimi bozdu.
Neyse genele bakarsak okutur kendini. Sadece sözde soğuk nevale olup pamuk gibi bir kalbi ortaya seren karakterde gördü bu gözler. Bu yüzden Spencer'dan bir iki minnoş sahne görmek isterdim ama aslında karakterine uygun davrandı. O yüzden no problema🤭

4.5 Feisty 🌟

I absolutely loved Jocelyn (Sly, Sin)....she has to be one of the best Heroines I have read! I could picture her fierceness backed up by her flaming hair. Spencer is a force to be reckoned with, he is set in his ways and kinda grouchy, but he is loyal and protective. I simply love how Daisy deals with Spencer, I love it when l get to see some of my favorite characters in other books.

Sly and Spencer are fire and ice. There is an endless amount of chemistry between the two of them, but also plenty of ups and downs when it comes to going further than just a little fun.

I love Sly and all her fieriness. She is loyal, independent, caring and extremely protective of those who are close to her. If there is anyone who can handle Spencer it is her. Plus, her love of true crime and Unsolved Mysteries….I want to be her friend. Spencer, I love him. He is billionaire, but his life was far form easy and his story broke my heart. There is so much more to him that meets the eye and I love that he found Sly and let her in.

I loved Sly and Spencer’s story from the start and I loved the two of them together. They are the best kind of trouble together.

If you’re looking for an enemies to lovers, workplace romance this is one to check out!

spencer and joclyn story was fresh and fun and sweet. She is sassy and fierce thats y the banter was so good. But spencer was so moody and gruffy so 60% of movie is all about ego clash. Introducing and tackling domestic abuse was a bold move in story and also aspiring. This was my first read by tia so i must say i am really looking forward to reading her books more. This man is the best kind of trouble. He´s the kind that belongs to me``

Bossy cold hearted alpha and a fiery heroine with panty melting hot chemistry and breathtaking feels! Trouble by Tia Louise was an absolutely wonderful read with amazing writing, brilliant characters and every kind of intense feeling! My all time favourite Tia Louise book.

Joselyn has been trying to get on her own two feets. She has to recover from a toxic relationship and rebuild her career and protect her best friend. Spencer is the last man she should be involved with. Because this brooding, arrogant billionaire ahole alpha doesn't do relationships. But they have electrifying connection that pushes them together and fate keeps on making their lives collide. Is Joselyn the woman who will make Spencer feel and fall in love?

The plot of this story is rock solid and addictive. No boring moments. No loose ends. No flat lines. A total emotional and super steamy rollercoaster. It is told in dual POV so I could feel Joselyn and Spencer's emotional struggles so deeply. I just have to love a woman who holds her own in front of an alpha who tends to bulldoze everything. Joselyn didn't play any games. She didn't purposefully pushed Spencer when it was required. She just refused to be happy with pieces of him and wanted to fight for this broken and perfect man. I adore her big, bright and beautiful heart. Spence has gone through a lot. He has been hurt and emotionally deprived. And he has sealed his heart behind a wall to save himself. Unattached. Uncomplicated. At least he thought so until Joselyn blindsided him with her fierce personality. Spencer had everything I crave in an alpha hero. Protective. Possessive. Sexy. Confident. Ready to go to any length for his woman. And so good at grovelling after messing up things. Their chemistry was just too good. Swoony. Stremy. Dreamy. The story had constant ups and downs those will keep you glued to the page.

I had no trouble falling in love with Trouble by Tia Louise. Instantly and so easily. It was sweet, hot and everything in between.

I reviewed an early copy voluntarily

Oh, boy, did Sly send Spencer reeling out of control from jump! I loved Joselyn already and I knew that there had to be a lot more to Spencer than meets the eye, and I was absolutely thrilled by their push and pull. He’s a cold jerk (or so he seems), she’s falling into the trap of love alone (or is she?), and yet so much changes along the way. So much is explained. And when it all falls apart, the surprises are still coming. Can Spencer love? Is Joselyn strong enough to stay away? Or is there so much happiness waiting for them both that some angst and worry is needed to make them both truly appreciate what they’ve found together?

I love how each book by this author manages to bring characters from some others into it without feeling like an invasion by those who’ve already had their HEAs granted. And while Spencer felt like he was on the outside looking in at times, I had to adore how his feelings changed about so much as he spent more time with Daisy, Sly, and their hometown friends/family. Spencer desperately needed to see that life isn’t all that he’d assumed it to be and that he definitely could break away from his past to have something more. Luckily, Joselyn was exactly who and what he needed, along with all she brought to the table. She wasn’t going to sell herself short for Spencer, even if she adored him. She was going to remember what her mother and Courtney taught her and she was willing to break her own heart to remember her worth. Spencer just had to figure out that worth before it was too late.

I think this is my favorite book so far. I fell into the story in the first chapter and didn’t want to climb out. Not even when I hit the very last words on the very last page. Spencer and Joselyn grabbed me and kept me along for their ride from start to finish. And they delivered so much more than I’d dared to hope for, too!

This was kinda meh for me.
I don't even remember I had finished it or not.
The h was too dull for my taste. I don't even know when and how she fell in love with him. She was witty, and brave and idk what not as per the story But I found her pathetic and dare I say stupid childish?

Then comes the mysterious Alpha H, lol he was not. He don't even know what he's doing most of the time. His actions should supposed to be firm but they were always contradictory and mixed. Again the development of feelings, were absent. One moment he wants to have one night stand and the next morning he gets irritated because the h left without telling.

Oh yeah I remember, I haven't even finished this book! And I'm not even planing to.

The moment Spencer sees Jocelyn, he wants her. but she's in a relationship so nothing happens.
after finally breaking up whit her shitty boyfriend, Jocelyn needs a job, so her cousin calls her to work as a florist at Spencer's party. the sexual tension between them is high, but she doesn't want to sleep with her boss.

after they finally sleep together Spencer still wants her, but she doesn't want to look like one of the previous girls he slept with, those girls that think that they can't change him, so Jocelyn tries to stay away from him.

i enjoyed this book, it did take me a while to get into it, but the drama made it impossible for me to stop reading

4 Stars!

Tia Louise has a fresh new release y'all and whoa. What a journey. What an explosive couple. What a book.

Tia gives us an (fr)enemies-to-lovers romance that hit me in my heart and all in my feels. I mean who doesn't love a grumpy alpha who falls hard for his girl? **all the heart eyes** Spencer and Joselyn were all kinds of addicting in moments and gahhhh, these two. The chemistry, the push-n-pull, the loads of sizzling tension.

If you like an easier, really good romance with a flowing storyline and all of the swoony heat then you need to give this brilliant author a try.

I recommend this book.
