CA textbook that follows their Social Studies standards. Good info but a pretty generic textbook. Don't use it much in class but I don't teach the textbook, so to speak. This is a pretty outdated book and were getting new ones in a year or two anyways.
I really liked reading this book in my spare time learning about history and its patterns is fascinating. Learning about cultures and their past is so cool. If you are interested in learning about different countries and practically anything from inventions to how their culture and society develops then this is the book for you!
Clear enough for a history textbook, though the author could go to a writing class or two and maybe a class on how to nicely organize both graphics and text on a page
