Rosary is an author of erotica ranging from sweet and fluffy, to dark and taboo. She aims to foster a sex-positive experience for readers to indulge their fantasies in a fun and safe space. Sometimes she uses her writing to journey into the often hidden and taboo depths of human sexuality, and hopes readers will take away from her stories, not an acceptance of violence and sexual abuse, but rather a way to embrace their inner desires often shamed by society.

Good gracious that was one super intense rollercoaster.
Fern knows how to push all Don’s buttons. His stubbornness is the reason why he keeps getting hurt. The fight and pride he feels inside, withhold him to surrender completely.

Stripped off from all his power by Don, Fern is vulnerable and at his mercy. Other Alpha’s shout to Don to destroy the little slave Fern did become, Don asked Fern to trust him. That’s the point, to trust him or not. Can Fern surrender or not?
What a ride, at 28% I was already exhausted by the events. It was so hurtful, exciting, and thrilling, awesome!

There were always other scary Alpha’s who wanted to take and grab Fern, he was so afraid. Fern has anxieties and depressions from nearly being force-claimed by other fuckers.

Fern is the feistiest beta ever and Don loves it all. He will defend his beta with his life, no one will claim him, Fern is Don’s property.

Stop looking for lovemaking, even though there is love involved, there’s only claiming, hurt, branding, biting, drawing blood, claiming over and over again. Don is getting ahead of the rituals and that cost him almost his mate. Wait for it and shiver.

Meeting the Blackfang family amazed me utterly, my goodness!
What happened there was for the whole picture fitting and quite original! Traditions and humiliation ran hand in hand.

There is a hierarchy I hated it as much as Fern did. Fern on a leash.... gahhh I wanted to scream and cry. He fought so hard for his freedom and equality. Well, there was none.

Domination and ownership are the keywords, and love, yeah don’t tell anyone, between all the violence, torture, non-con and dub-con sexual content, there is yes ‘love’ ha! Not the soft one, don’t ever expect soft or consensual. It’s all painful, dark, taboo, twisted, kinky. (there is a lot of it!) Fucking Don, I loved and hated him.

The author did again an absolutely stunning job! All super consistently written. With an amazing original solid plot. The story had generally a steady pace, here and there it accelerated to a high-speed race. It was a thrilling experience, I was so hard rooting for Fern. Thank goodness he got what he wanted, well, for the most ha!

I'll have to censor this review because of... you know!

I can't even.
DNF:ed at 86% when I realized that no, I can't handle all this humilation and subjugation. Never mind all the violence and abuse. Humilation-kink is not for me. I feel slightly sick actually.

Disturbingly good

Part 2 of 2 - if I didn't think the debauchery could get any more disturbing, then I was deeply wrong. Not only has Fern suffered at the hands of his Alpha, he's now passed around like a parcel. However! Fern seems to like this. Then he's thrown into slavery, auctioned, sold to an old creep who rapes him. Then he's saved, then kind of raped by his FIL. But guess what... He kind of liked that too. And through all this I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. It's an emotional mess. I'm exhausted. I just wish there had been some kind of depth to the characters. I wanted Fern to run away with his Zombie friend. The writing was a bit childish at times and quite repetitive. But I loved how the story was told from only Fern's POV. If you want something a bit different, with no real love or affection and you enjoy dark erotica, then you'll absolutely love this book.

The Offering Surrender
By Rosary Deville

This book continues the story of Fern and Donovan. It was quite a bit darker than the first. Don is challenged multiple times for Fern. One of those times ends in heartbreak for a large portion of the book. It is also the time of the third and final offering. Another heartbreaking episode in the book.

I loved this book as much as I loved the first one. I think a little more actually, but while the angst and heartache in the first one was almost nil this second book had high angst and a lot of heartache both. It lasted so long that I actually wondered if Don and Fern would even get their HEA. Throughout it all though Fern kept true to himself. He remained snarky and angry towards whatever was thrown his way.

This book was also in Fern's POV.

I saw a note from the author that more stories from Don's brothers will be coming in the future. I'm so thrilled and can't wait to read them.

Great ending

Great ending to a wonderful story. Highly erotic. BDSM set in the werewolf shifter world. Loved seeing the love grow between Fern and Donovan despite all the challenges thrown in their paths.

Nailed the Dubcon but could have truly rocked the story with a little plot work. My review relates to both books, the entire story, together.

Dark, omegaverse book with an OTT Alpha and his strong-willed Beta. Fern lives in a world where Beta's are mated off to an Alpha during the yearly Offering ceremony. Nature then kicks in as Betas submit to these Alphas, spending the rest of their lives as obedient mates who will eventually carry Pups. Over the next month, the Alpha and Beta live together and must pass through 2 more offerings/challenges before their mating will (hopefully) be blessed by the Goddess. There's a lot of violence and death along the way.

Fern was born to a higher-ranking Alpha (woman) and Beta (man), so thankfully not destined to be a Slave Beta. This doesn't mean he's happy about the situation. While he may be a Beta, he inherited his Alpha mother's headstrong personality. He's in high school and a EMO metal bank with his 3 best friends (a vampire, a human, and a zombie). Spending his life without freewill or control over his body and sex/mating, always at the mercy of the Alpha prowess, isn't a dream scenario for him.

Donovan is a high-ranking Alpha who trained under Fern's Alpha mother. He's been attracted to Fern for years, following him in preparation for Fern to come-of-age and participate in The Offering. He is the first Alpha to claim Fern and the story takes us to their time together as Donovan does everything in his Alpha power to make Fern submit, to give into the his natural Beta instincts.

That's the setup. While I did find the dubcon to be mind-blowing, little bits of the plot kept teasing that a deeper story arc was coming. Sadly, I was left a bit unfulfilled. Don repeatedly tells Fern that he isn't going to block him from his life or what he wants to do. But they never have a conversation. Rosary teasing at Don being an amazing Alpha and the perfect mate for Fern, but then she seems to forget and drop the arc. Or there are moments where there seems to be a breakthrough, but then Don reverts to being tight-lipped and controlling. Give Fern a bit of info FFS!!

So much happens to Fern, some of it because of his choices and some because of Don's. Rosary seemed to be setting us up for a story ending where they have that mated pair breakthrough. Finding a connection/deep love that strengthens them both. Honestly, I kinda wanted something to come from the Book 2 scene with Don's family. After everything with that Lord, and all the other trauma, how did Fern not have a mental breakdown? Maybe he should have. Make Don go through a bit of emotional turmoil and really face what he's done to the Beta he's supposedly loved for years. While I don't expect any kind of universe revolt and massive reflection of Alpha/Beta practices, a smaller change with Don and Fern would have left me so fulfilled at the end.

I do hope we see more with Fern's friends. Shamar needs a story, and there's something going on with Alphonse and Lucian.

If you haven't read the first book "The Offering" this book may not make any sense to you. It is a dark world in which Wereduin live. A society made up of Alphas and Betas, of rites of passage in some ways and a caste system that controls with rules and laws to protect those who are at the top of the food chain. In book one we meet Fern and his friends. Fern is a wereduin, born a Beta to his Alpha mother and Beta father. His friends are a vampire, a human descendant from Van Helsing and a Zombie. Fern is not willing to submit to an Alpha in general and to the Alpha Donovan in particular. Book two begins where book one ended. Fern and Don have made it through two out of three challenges and Fern finally begins to see that Don isn't as bad as any other Alpha and begins to feel home in Don's place. In a genius twist of turn in the story things don't go as smoothly as Don would have wanted it and a mistake on Don's part gets Fern and Don separated. But you can read yourself what happened.
So the verdict for this is four stars. The world building is by its own very different to the normal fare of shifters. A mix of Gods, laws and societies that vary in rules, group dynamics and social standings. Fern is a typical teenager who has only half listened to what the teachers and parents had to teach. He is open minded to other groups in this world, but he has not much of an idea how his own life will change with his reaching the age to participate in the offering. His rebellious side fights against the inevitable outcome and his Beta body betrays him before he can put a distance between him and Don. A lot of the descriptive sex is non-con or plain rape, so if you have issues with it, then this book isn't for you. The author has definitely a dark mind and enjoys torture and non-consentual sex, adding bits and bobs of bondage and S/M into the mix and creates a few really depraved villains and supportive characters. Also the death count is fairly high, but I am not sure if there is an unlimited number of wereduins or if one can apply Darwin's survival of the fittest to it.

After the first book I was so excited and couldn't wait to read this second book. Fern and Don are two amazing character and their story is so unique, dirty and kinky. Ahh, the world Rosary Deville created is just so good!

The book is long but not boring for a minute. Exciting and not flat at all. Love how possessive and protective Don is, he is the ultimate alpha who will protect his beta, no matter what. He will go to hell and will be back without a scar just to protect his love. And Fern is so blind to all of this, he is still in his bubble world where he thinks he is the most important thing on the world and nothing can touch him, he is the centre of the world. But when he sees that he clearly could loose his alpha, his mind is changing and he thinks differently after that. Loved when he realised that thing, but he wasn't deep at that point, so he still had some things to face.

Loved the darker theme, it was so much darker and kinkier then the first book, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Don when he tried 'to brake in' Fern, but Fern wasn't the one who will bow his head. Loved their relationship, but Don is really a saint to endure all of those things and don't give up on Fern. He was so deep in love with Fern, while Fern was just a teenager who had to grow up.

Yeah, Fern's growing up situations weren't so easy, but those were important to him to became stronger and see the things that's clearly in front of his eyes - Don's love and protection.

There was one scene when I thought, no, it can't be happening... no, it's just too much... Don's father with Fern... but I could get over it.

The one thing I missed was Fern's school days and his friends. I know the book is long enough without those, but they were a really interesting addition to the story in the first book and I couldn't wait to see more about them. (that one scene with Shamar.. I didn't know where to put that scene? Why was it important to know that he is in love with Fern?, anyway it was good to see him for a little)

It was sweet at times and I really loved Don, how caring he was. And when Fern got pregnant, ohh well, those scenes were hot as hell. It's a really unique mpreg story. Can't wait to read more in this universe!

Highly recommend! Still one of my favorite series.

The Offering Surrender is the second book in the Wolves of Wereduin series, written by Rosary Deville.

The story starts off where the second ended. There is a final challenge to finally make the mating official. Don rushes the mating bite which triggers a chain of reactions. Fern gets sold into slavery and has a lot to deal with which makes him realize how much he actually enjoys being with Don.

Fern is my favourite character in the book as the other main character is very cruel. I really dislike Don but I feel like he was written to be disliked but at the same time, he does have a few sweet moments where I hope he and Fern stay together, other times I wish he would vanish.

So much happens in this book that honestly, it's hard to convey my thoughts without spoiling the story. The ending was my favourite part. I love how there are so many different species coexisting throughout the universe. I do hope to maybe read a mini-story about Fern and Don's kids, because while I didn't love Don, I'm not ready for the series to end. This series was good and unique and I look forward to seeing Rosary Deville’s next book.

Druga część Wolves of Wereduin to już naprawdę wyższa szkoła jazdy.

Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review.
Wow talk about running hot and cold Fern is about to have a wake up call to the world as he becoming Don's Beta. Dangerous vibes comes in waves after a near miss with another alpha breaking that bond but can Don keep the pup safe? New danger lerks in the dark? Fern's little world was expanded after visiting the "prevy sex club" the third sect of Don's. Ugh I so was almost hating Don in the middle of this, I was like this MF filled Fern's head with all his lies just to seat back? Really?... wow you so had me on that little rant for a moment. Please and Thankyou I needs more of this darker fantasy world you have brought to life.  But a bit of warning for readers extremely dark taboo/ rape scenes, start with book 1 as this one is more heavy handed.

“The Offering Surrender" received THREE stars.

Definitely had a love-hate relationship with this one. And I definitely could’ve done without Fern’s “father-in-law” raping him while Don held him down. Out of everything that left a very bad taste in my mouth and my mind.

The novel gained *stars* for these items:

* gained for: "The book caught my interest in the first five pages."

1/2 * gained for: "I thought about the book when I was forced to set it down and re-enter society."

* gained for: "There were no info dumps, poor writing, or copy edit mistakes that jerked me out of the story."

1/2 * gained for: "I was sad when the book ended. I wanted more!"

The novel failed to gain stars for this item:

NO STAR gained for: "That's it. I'm hooked on this author. I will automatically try anything she/he/they writes."

A great conclusion to Fern and Don's story. I've been impatiently waiting for this book since I read the end in book 1 and I completely enjoyed it, well worth the wait. This was a well written, steamy, dirty, paranormal romance. You need to read book 1 or the story-line will make no sense.

Yes it's very very dark.
Yes, it's erotic.
Yes, it's BDSM.
Yes, it's full of triggers

But remember it's not real, it's a paranormal romance, if you don't want to read something confronting, don't read this.

For me, I loved the story-line, cried for Fern and the horrible things his society puts him through, loved the character development, and loved the world built. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

I gulped this book down right after finishing the first one because I had to know how Fern and Donovan's relationship progressed. I was kind of hoping this one might be less intense and I might feel less conflicted about Don, Fern and their relationship. Boy was that a false hope, lol. This was even darker than the first one, but man can this author suck you into the darkness, wrap you up in the world and make you follow wherever they lead even as you want to pull away! The threats to Fern don't just come from Don here. This is a very dangerous world emotionally and physically for characters and emotionally for readers.

The conclusion of Fern and Don's story isn't dark in the same way as the first book, but it's pretty damn bleak non the less.
Fern continues to struggle with his need to submit and to hold on to him self, while Don shows more softness towards his mate. He doesn't seem as opposed to Fern's rebellious nature now that they are closing in on the third bite.
The book is a good 80% sex, and very much dark erotica.
But it's good, I liked our chars more in this one and I missed seeing Fern's friends. I look forward to the spin-offs.
I wish things with Shamar had been done better than they were, it was something that I felt got lost in the overall plot.

Fast paced action, danger and excitement had me racing to the end.
The conclusion to this series took me down an even darker and twisted rollercoaster.
Fern and Don find themselves in uncharted waters as an unforseen threat nearly succeeds at separating them.
In order for them to be reunited it takes all of Don's strength and Fern must finally swallow some of his pride and allow himself to submit to Don's darker desires.

This book was bittersweet. I’ll miss Fren and his fierceness and defiance. I loved his character, it found a special place in my heart for his strength and always wanting to be true to himself, fighting Don every step of the way.
There were painful moments in this book, when I just wanted to cry for help, but there were also sweet moments between him and Don that melted my heart.
I loved the journey of these characters, and I’m so happy they finally had their HEA 🖤

Terrific second book

Take the warning seriously. This is a dark romance but it’s also a terrific read. If you are in the mood for dark delicious werewolves who are a lot more primal than in most of the books out there then you will probably enjoy these two books as I really did. Loved them.

To quote one of the reviews I saw: " disturbingly good".
I am very new in the dark erotica genre but im quickly learning how there is zero limits to what it can happen. In real life I would never accept any of this, but as a very twisted and dark fantasy I cant say I did enjoy it.

good book, the werewolf sex was exceptionally good, but I couldn't stand the excessive humiliation kink and the excessive denial of MC especially when Don started to say things almost like a gaslight to make him see that he liked the situation. And I really don't want to talk about the rape....

What a ride. Don’t even know what to say..
I loved the first book and it’s different take on things. This continues Don and Fern’s story. It’s hard to like Don by the way way he treats Fern, but it’s just the way things are. And it can be worse if he were with a different Alpha… which happens and Fern realizes he likes being with Don. Etas are property and treated as such, and this is your regular “he’s a good alpha and diff from the rest. Treats me as equal” kind of story. Yes, Don does treat Fern well in his own way but in the end Don owns him and does what he wants with Fern.

Buckle up! If you thought the first book was crazy and a lot of sh*t went down… your in for a ride with this one.

This isnt something I can read daily basis or all the time. I like for happiness between the MCs. I am curious about the other supernatural species like the Zombies and vampires.. any following books to this would be an Insta buy for me.
