A Quick MC Insta Love
This book is the start of something good. I know from the start that this was a fast read but I have to say that this author packed a lot in with the time allowed. It told of Diesel and Karma's crazy childhood and of their steamy connection. The connection was going to be trouble though because both came from rival clubs.
This is a series I will definitely be checking out in the future.

Karma is bad, an MC rider who is the beautiful daughter of the Sinful Souls president. She is willful, determined, single minded and a little reckless. I like her confidence and belief in herself. Well, this did come back to bite her when she ran into the Wicked Kings MC members. Enter Diesel who is a pledge for the Wicked Kings. He is your typical pledge following orders, chasing women, and dedicated to the MC. When he sees Karma he immediately wants her. He is tested when ordered to handle a situation involving Karma. Now comes a sudden twist where Diesel shows he has more courage and reasoning then the MC thought. I was pleasantly surprised to see how he thought them out of a very hard spot.

Taking her baby for a ride
Diesel is the first book of the Wicked Kings New York series. There is a prequel to this series that I would suggest reading first as it gives the opening of the overarching story-line and introduces some of the characters. This story is about Karma and Diesel who are members of two different MC's in NYC who are in a power struggle. Karma is the daughter of the Sinful Souls MC President who decides to take a cruise by herself out to Montauk for a day or two of solitude and to do some planning for the club. But along the way she ends up kidnapped and then in the Wicked Kings MC clubhouse. Well their "dungeon"/loading dock. The Wicked Kings are planning on using Karma as leverage against her father to get back their shipment of guns which the Sinful Souls high-jacked the other night. Diesel is a Prospect for the Wicked Kings MC. He was born and raised in Astoria, Queens to a loving mother but an abusive father. When his mother finally got away from his father that left him the man of the house. But he had some anger issues which resulted in a path taken after being expelled from high school. When his mother died of cancer he drank himself silly until finally pulling it together and joining the Wicked Kings, getting a family of brothers that took him in. Diesel is tasked with looking after Karma and things do not start off well. But there is an major attraction between them that at times runs hot enough to burn and other times is colder than a nor'easter wind. Along the way though Karma learns a couple major truths about her father and also her missing mother. Will these revelations turn Karma against her father and the Sinful Souls? Will Karma survive the dungeon or will Diesel be forced to earn his patch doing something he does not want to?
This is a fast-paced and full throttle MC story that has some darker moments and also some funny moments....and let's not forget the super hot and sexy moments. I really liked Karma as she is as calculating as the guys are and willing to do what she has to so she can survive. Diesel was a character that I envisioned as just a lumbering ox. He really does not think, well he does but with his little Diesel first. But on some level Diesel and Karma instantly recognize that they are meant to be together even if they are in enemy MCs. I look forward to the next book in this series to she what happens next.

Karma is a female member of the Sinful Souls. Her dad is the president of the club, the club she plans to take over (hopefully soon). When the Sinful Souls grab the big stash out from the Wicked Kings, she will be their bargaining chip. Karma is grabbed by Shiv, Havoc and Sneaky Pete while Saint gives Diesel (a prospect) the assignment to take care of the "package", Karma.
Diesel is a young guy who wants to join the club because he didn't really have other options. He especially loves all the women around the club. Karma plans on using her feminine wiles on Diesel to escape. He feels he is falling in love but the brothers want him to kill.
Diesel is a very fast read and doesn't fully conclude. We do get a glimpse into the couples' future though. The Wicked Kings book one did wet my appetite but I feel a little empty. I wanted more from this couple because they do have chemistry. If you are looking for almost a MC light story this is the read for you.

What I didn’t- I didn’t like Diesel. I thought he was an idiot, and not the lovable kind. He was planning to have sex with her the moment he saw her, and was treading a fine line there because he said he was going, in his words, to f— her, but disregarded that she was his captive and therefore not likely to want to get down. And he was so easy for her to play because of his idiocy. And he had a shitty attitude.
I just didn’t see the love connection being strong between them. The lust connection, yes. That was right there. But the love connection seemed to happen like the flip of a switch.
I just didn’t like this book. I skipped around in the series, reading the prequel first, then Saint. And both of those were much better.

Yes I know this is the first book in the series but there is actually a prequel that sets the scene and tells of the disappearance of the guns This story takes if from there The Wicked Kings have discovered that it is the Sinful Souls Mc who stole their shipment Bent on revenge they kidnap the daughter of the Savage Souls. Karma can't believe that she has been dragged into the dram between the two clubs and even more she has been placed under the care of one of the prospects for the Wicked Kings She knows that Diesel wants her and has every intention of using that to escape the only problem is she is starting to have feelings for him as well When the truth comes out about just how evil her father is she will give the Wicked Kings the information they need for their revenge Can she finally have a future with the man she is growing to love You will have to read to see

Diesel is a prospect with the Wicked Kings tasked with keeping an eye on Karma, the daughter of a rival MC and their prisoner. Karma is a tough cookie living in a mans world and holding her own. This is a super quick (novella length), insta-love situation between the two of them - Diesel is looking for something quick and easy and Karma is using her assets and the spark between them is instantaneous. I really liked Karma and her tough as nails demeanor, she had no problem standing up for herself with the other members of the Wicked Kings. Diesel I liked a little less, my pet peeve is people that refer to themselves in the third person, and he came across as really arrogant for a prospect. I'm interested to see where this series goes and hope we have a little more depth in future books.

This is the 1st book in the Wicked Kings MC New York series and it’s a great read. The Sinful Souls MC heisted a shipment of guns from the Wicked Kings and they wanted their guns back. While out riding her new bike, Karma is kidnapped by the Wicked Kings and held hostage as leverage for an exchange of her for the guns. But her father won’t give up the guns. Diesel, the prospect, is ordered to watch her but instead he falls for her, hook line and sinker. Because of her father’s decision, Diesel is given the chance to earn his patch by putting a bullet in her head. Does he want that patch bad enough to kill the woman he’s fallen for? An entertaining storyline and intriguing characters. Can’t wait for more.

Diesel is a prospect for the Wicked Kings MC. Karma is the daughter of the leader of the rival MC Sinful Souls, who have stolen a gun shipment from Wicked Kings MC. In retaliation the Wicked Kings kidnapped Karma as leverage so that they can get their guns back. Diesel was tasked to look after Karma. Karma devices a way to escape and she plans to use Diesel's attraction to her. How far will Diesel go to please Karma? Will he choose to be with Karma at the expense of losing his family with the Wicked Kings? I like the flow of the story except that I feel the most important part, for me, was missing. How did the Wicked Souls get their guns back? I am guessing it will be another story and I am looking forward to reading it.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the first book in the Wicked Kings MC series. In this book, Diesel is a prospect to the Wicked Kings MC and is in charge of guarding Karma, the daughter of the president of a rival MC, who has been captured by the Wicked Kings. Diesel is supposed to get information from Karma about her father's MC, but Karma doesn't want to talk. Karma wants to seduce Diesel into helping her escape. Diesel wants Karma and wants to help her, but he is ordered to kill her. Now Diesel must choose between Karma and the Wicked Kings. I liked this book, I think Diesel and Karma had an amazing connection. I think Karma never thought she would develop feelings for Diesel, she was only trying to use him. I think Diesel had a hard decision to make. This was a good start to the series.

Diesel is working his way into a MC. He was out on the street on his own until they took him in. He needs to follow the rules. But when he sees the latest item he must protect he doesn’t know if he can. Karma is gorgeous, curvy, spitfire and involved in another MC. Diesel is taking a likening to her but she needs to escape from him. This story is filled with interesting, unique characters. Diesel isn’t in the club yet and is going to need to use all his skills to win over the guys. What does the future hold? Can Karma get away? Can she get Diesel to help her? It is a gritty, suspense filled, fast-paced, lusty, passionate adventure.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Diesel is the first book in the ‘’wicked kings new york’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and was satisfied throughout. When Karma is kidnapped by bikers will she ever be safe?
The chemistry between Diesel and Karma is clear to see and I liked them together that being said, I wanted more of them.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Novella with stereotypical MC themes
Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence.
This is part of a MC series that contains characters that embody stereotypical actions and characteristics of the genre and New York gangsters as well as “insta love”.
This has the potential for a great series but I don’t think it worked all that well in a novella format, so that is why I gave it 3 stars. Just not enough details to make the story, characters, universe, etc. come to life. Unfortunately that made it read more like an excuse to cuss and mate (you know what I mean, even though I can’t list it out here … ).

Loved this book! It was a unique and original story.
Karma was from a rival MC club who had stolen a shipment of guns from the Wicked Kings MC. After karma was captured Diesel a new prospect was told to shoot her.
The lust and infatuation was so strong between Karma and Diesel. It started off totally with out any feeling, rough and raw. Karma using him to try and escape.
I liked how she was betrayed and the guys came to the party with how to proceed. They both were great characters and I really enjoyed this book!

Well this series just go intense fast. Karma wants to take over her father's MC club, to do that took a shipment from the Wicked Kings MC, that was one error. The next was riding alone. Diesel has not chosen the best path in life, drinking and women have lead him a stray. When he is given an chance with the MC can he make the most of it.
It is getting hot in here. Karma suspension are confirmed that her day is dirty and is happy to bring down his MC. Diesel find strength and love with Karma. Can't wait to see what is next.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is book one in the series and a short romance between Diesel and Karma. It also leads into the next book. He is a prospect with the MC and Karma is a woman that he never expected. They have been crossed and payback is coming. She is technically the rival MCs princess. When she is taken, she finds out she is not as valued as she thought. When left to fight for herself, she takes the option he helps create for her. Though short, this book is packed with drama and heat

The Wicked Kings think Karma's MC has stolen their shipment and are using her to get it back. Karma convinces Diesel to help her escape, but he's hesitant until they tell him to kill her. Karma turns on her father when he leaves her to die, and helps the Wicked Kings. Will they be able to stay together or will Diesel have to kill the woman he loves? I felt like the characters were underdeveloped, even though it was short I would have liked to feel more for the main characters. Karma was mostly arrogant and annoying and Diesel naive. This is a enemies to lovers motorcycle romance that will have you entrapped from page one and you will not put it down until you are done reading it.. its a standalone book filled with action, drama, humour, suspense and a betrayal.

Will Diesel help her along these terms, and will it lead to a happily ever after for these two? This story had me from page one and I was caught up in Karma and Diesel’s story!

Continuation of the Wild Kings MC, they kidnap a rival gangs member in retaliation for them stealing a shipment from them. The plan is to kill their prisoner, Karma as payback. During her incarceration she gets together with a prospect named Diesel who assists her to make a deal with the boss to let her live. Will it work. Can she and Diesel find a way to be together during this dangerous time? Great story and author.

A very short read about Diesel and Karma. Diesel is a Prospect for the Wicked Kings MC. He tends to think with the wrong head most of the time. Karma is the daughter of the Sinful Souls MC President. She is a feisty, sexy woman. Diesel is attracted to Karma almost immediately and Karma thinks she can get him wrapped around her little finger to take advantage of him. But what happens when you wrong Karma? I can’t wait to read the next book in the series about Havoc.

If you read the prequel to this series you know the club's guns were stolen by a rival club. They were determined to get them back. In this book they captured the prez's daughter who was out riding alone. When she found out the truth about how her mom was killed all bets were off. Diesel was a prospect at the time, and of course all he could think of was sex. But when it came down to it, he would die to protect her. I thought that this was a good read. Diesel and Karma are from rival MCs and they meet when Karma is captured to try and force her father's hand. These two have a great a connection and chemistry in this short yet good read but it felt too rushed to me. To me, Diesel was a beta/omega and Karma was the true alpha in the relationship. I liked the drama and the steam in this book. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
