wonderful world-building, character's emotional and personalities description holds thoughout the series with a gentle and kind unraveling of their past experiences and the cause for their current ways of being. Extremely engaging stories that leave you with a desire to know more and never satiated. Excellent love-hate relationship with almost every character throughout the series, where no one is truly good nor bad.
Leigh Bardugo's seven-book set is an impressive collection that showcases her talent for creating immersive and intricate worlds, compelling characters, and nuanced exploration of power dynamics and privilege. The collection includes the Grishaverse trilogy, as well as the Six of Crows duology and the King of Scars duology. Bardugo's writing is rich and vivid, and her stories are filled with magic, action, and romance.
While the pacing can be uneven at times, the depth and complexity of the characters and the themes make for a satisfying read.

I’ll be honest, I only read the first book. I feel like the plot and universe has so much potential but the characters were so lacking that it made it almost impossible to read, I don’t DNF books but this is the closest I ever came to doing so. I’m interested in picking up Six of Crows because it seems more up my alley.
I have read this series 3 times now. It only gets better. Leigh Bardugo can draw you in and feel like you are a part of this world. Hands down my favorite writer. All of her books are great.
