One man broke me. One led me to sin. And one killed me to save me.

I grew up under the iron fist of a vampire. And when I betrayed him, I ended up in Nightmare Penitentiary.

Multiple attacks, my death, and four psycho men later…I’m done being everyone's target.

I have to escape the monsters who surround me within these walls. So a deal has been struck, and failure to fulfill my part of the bargain is not an option.

With my fae prince, incubus, hellhound, and serial killer, I’m set to unleash hell on all of who’ve done me wrong.

I’ve had enough of the cages that surround me.

Sometimes all you need is a second chance to make things right. But in my case, I was given four…

She was a drug...one I couldn’t give up

This series is over and I’m not sure how to feel about it. I loved this series. It was different and magical and I loved all of the different elements going on with everything. (The warden, Julian, the ghost, the hunt for trinkets and then her love with the guys.) ♥️♥️

Unfortunately this book, fell short for me. Don’t get me wrong it was still a good ending for Selena and her guys, however it just didn’t have that edge of seat factor like the other books did. I felt like the authors rushed this one. ☹️
*
*
This book takes place exactly following book 3. When Selena gets back from her mother’s funeral, her anger is at an all time high. She makes a decision without thought that lands her with a bounty on her head throughout the prison. With not a whole lot of options, her guys try to help her as much as they can and figure, enough is enough- it’s time to leave this prison...

The case they are put on without really much choice to get to the end goal of freedom is filled with twists and turns. Alaric, Seth, Laz and Keon are all by her side to help Selena pave the way for their future. Can they make it out together? Can they really have their happy ending??
*
*
Like I said, this was a good ending to the series. I’m comfortable with this. I do wish for more, but don’t we always... Some parts felt rushed and it definitely wasn’t an on the edge of your seat kind of book like the previous ones.

I can’t wait to read more books by these authors.

*Overall 3/5
*Heat? 4/5
*3 yr Epilogue
*First person POV - all 5 of them.
*HEA? Yes

Selena was sent to prison as punishment for denying the wrong vampire but in prison, she found love. She found her four true mates. An incubus, a fae prince, a hellhound, and a soul-sucking serial killer each own pieces of her heart now. She's been threatened, attacked, and even died and now her time is running out. Julian, the vengeful vampire is coming back for her. Her men have to find a way to get her out of the prison, keep her safe, and get her powers back.

Twists and turns, action and intrigue, betrayals and sexy times keep Selena's final book moving along at a hectic pace. The sense of danger and possible doom builds excitement with every page. Selena's men all prove themselves time and time again. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've decided I want a hellhound in my life. The men are all devoted but Laz has all the words. I love how we got answers to some of the mysteries surrounding Seth but that it wasn't wrapped up with a pretty bow. I also like how we get few details of how they make their relationship work. These men are all such strong forces, I think it was smart to leave it open-ended for our imaginations. All we need to know is they are happy. There are loose ends with the Fae kingdom and the warden, so I expect we will revisit these characters in the future.

This has to be the best book in the series by far. I love the series but this book just left me wanting more at every turn. You need to read in order but definitely recommend a read.

I had said, when reading the previous 3 books, that I liked that this series offshoot of the Paranormal Prison series had approached the reverse harem theme differently where all the guys had not already been formed into a group by themselves, or even known each other. However, the more I reflect on it, the more I DON’T like it. Previously, the RH theme worked because it was already a cultural norm, or it was foreseen/prophesied that there would only be one woman to share for the group of men. In this “Thief of Hearts” series, neither of those is the case. So, when any of these alpha males fall in love/find their fated mate in Selena, it doesn’t seem natural that they are wiling to share her and build a life together as one big happy family. In fact, these guys end up fighting a lot, and vying for time with her away from the others. Laz tells her, "Alaric wants to find the stone, and whatever other secrets there are in this place to increase his power and take over the world. The fae wants to get his kingdom back. Keon feels a sense of duty to this place, and is a fucking serial killer with an urge to kill everything around him. But me, Selena, I just want to be there for you… to make you happy." Then Keon says, “I stormed inside, not loving the way he looked at her. I wanted to be the one sharing that moment with her. Sure, Selena had her sights set on more than just me, but it was a damn hard pill to swallow. My instinct was to rip them to shreds for even looking at her, but the choice wasn't mine now, was it? She wanted these men around her, so I had to find a way to accept them if I wanted a part of her. “ Its almost as if we are supposed to chose. I don’t like that. Regardless of how I felt about the RH theme in this book not following the normal formula, I liked that Selena was always alone with each of her men when she was intimate with them. It helped me get to know them better individually. I still would have liked to see some more group dynamic throughout rather than just at the end. If forced, I would still choose Alaric. I was on Team Alaric from the beginning until it seemed that he betrayed her by omitting his alliance with the warden. Even then, I knew it was to get what he wanted from him. So, for me, it was always Team Alaric if I had to choose. But Selena didn't have to choose. So, neither did I.

So moving forward what I wanted to see when I read this was for all of them to get out of prison (not sure what Keon was going to do if he left his job as a guard), for each of the guys who had a quest that they would fulfill it (such as clearing their name or regaining a throne, etc), for Selena to get her powers back, for justice with Julian, the warden, and Dr. Brina, and for them to build a really good life together as a family. I had ideas for that but decided to read through first and then decide whose ideas were best, mine or the authors’.

What I didn’t like so much was yet another “fluffy filler” to prolong the story and that was a quest that the warden gave Alaric in return for him lifting his bounty on Selena’s head AND not giving her back to Julian. It was a disjointed and unsatisfying ending with so many strings still loose.

Some of the writing in this series offshoot is definitely skilled. Even just a small sentence: “Dread curdled in my gut” spoke volumes and wasn’t just some high school kid writing fantasies. I’ve read a lot of books in this genre and some of them are so amateur and immature that I DNF them. Some of this book, weirdly was like that but not all of it. I could tell that there were definitely two authors, one much better than the other. I'm not sure which, but my suspicion is that Mila is the poorer author since I DNF another book she'd written without CR Jane.

Can y’all please let me how Keon went from having the demon posses him because of a deal with the devil to being born with it because his mom is a demon who abandoned him and his dad, to his human dad killing his mom and his father being a monster. Like I don’t get the connections. Do you read your own book before you write the next one? Or are you just winging it.

Overall it is a good serie but when writers ignore information they given in a previous book and completely change it like this, it really annoys me.

This was amazing. Selena has alot of conflicting feelings after the death of her mother. Julian felt the need to kill her when he wasn’t happy with her. Her earliest memories were of her mother grooming her for Julian, but I don’t think there was any other way of life for her. Selena weathers attacks in the prison, misery, and intrigue as she tries to find a way to bargain her way out of the prison. There doesn’t seem any way to beat the Warden when he has eyes and ears everywhere and it’s quickly found that he knows about her allies. There is a repressive feeling of despair that starts to hit Selena and the guys as they become desperate to free Selena. They want to go with her, but it is clear that she can’t survive much longer in the prison.

I didn’t expect the twists and turns that happened during this book. I giggled as the boys fought over their jealousies and swooned when Laz told Selena that he loved her purely for herself. The boys find that Selena has enough love for the 4 of them, and she helps to unravel some of the mysteries from the guys pasts. This is the last book in the series and the HEA is amazing. Every beating, every terror, every horror that they’ve weathered in Nightmare Pen becomes worth it.

This series is near to my heart and I absolutely loved it.

Time was running out for Selena. The mysterious and obsessed Warden and the depraved vampire Julian had her against the wall and there seemed to be no solution within her grasp. That is until in an intense race to free her from a tragic and surely deadly ending, Alaric, Seth, Laz, Keon along with her, are involved in the search for what seems impossible. An exciting adventure! This last book is full of intense and even chilling scenes that made me give up reading at night. Mysterious characters, detailed descriptions and scenes of intense passion had me eagerly reading extremely intrigued. Hum! Was the one with Jeepers Creepers in that prison? Huy! I liked how the men handled the situation and helped things turn out despite the difficulties they had to face. Action, a lot of suspense, intense and exciting twists, magic, adventure, strong emotions, violence, romance and a lot of torrid passion. Voluntarily reviewed this copy which I loved.

CR Jane and Mila Young wow what a great ending together amazing series! This is one of the best out of all four books...these two talented authors together gave crested magic in this unique universe. This book pick up right near the ending of book three and we really get to read the connection between Selena and her mates become so much deeper and then realizing she had enough love for them all. Their devotions her is great to read, especially Laz saying he is only there for her! This book really had it all and it was impossible to put down once I started reading. It was packed full of action, steamy steamy scenes, mystery and danger around every corner. I loved how these two have left this open for more to come...will we see Seth take his kingdom back with their help? Will this be what comes next? Highly recommended series!!

What a way to end the series. Throughout this whole series I have been absolutely in love with the characters and the whole story. It sucks you in like you're imprisoned in the worst prison imaginable. Each guy has you swooning like in most romance movies. Why choose between a sinfully delicious incubus, a broken fae prince, a hot guard with his own demon, or a cute and loyal hellhound when you can have them all? The story flows consistently from book 1 to the end of book 4, there's some surprises mixed in that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and the ending is spectacular like I don't think there could have been a more perfect way to end this series. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Rather disappointed with the ending. It felt so anticlimactic. Taking down the big bad vamp was rather pathetic. I thought she would've at least had to use her powers. Also, how come we don't get the details of Laz's revenge? Or if/how Seth gets his kingdom back. If Seth was as powerful as they made him out to be, why couldn't he just summon his staff again? Also, there was zero mention of how Selena got it in the first place. It was kinda a flop. The series was doing so well, only to have a poor ending. I would've assumed that the vamp would've been taken down in a battle, not the coward's way. And, how was Keon able to keep any form of control over his beast if he no longer worked in the Prison? So much doesn't add up and we're left wondering

Siren Redeemed is book 4 of the series, and must be read in order.

If I thought this series was amazing, this last book trumps them all, together. This book not only brings the relationships in closer, and we see the bonds that Selena builds with her guys are just absolute and forever. The twist, I never saw it coming. This HEA is sooooo worth it, and it’s so skillfully crafted, I completely binged the three previous books and this book within 1.5 days. This series is so amazing. Completely in love with Serena’s passion for living her life, and her devotion to this she cares about.

Story 📖: 5/5
Heat 🔥: 5/5 (so descriptive! 🥵)

By now you must know that I love Mila's style of writing. And I love it when she writes with C.R. I really recommend this series to everyone. It is so wonderfully written and has all the action, drama and sexiness we have come to love out of Mila and C.R 's collaborations. Selena and her guys ( Alaric,Seth, Laz,and Keon) have decided that enough is enough and are finally leaving Nightmare penitentiary. This book is the last of the series and it was sad to see it end...but maybe a hint at seeing them again in other ways? 🤔? And does Julian get what he deserves?....that can be debated....but I think that I won't spoil it for you...😝 highly recommended! Another home run Ladies!💜😘

Holy smokes! Hot hot hot !

I absolutely loved this book. Can we say devoured it ? There are some seriously hot scenes in there people. I'm so in love with this series and sad to see it end. I really love that these 2 ladies have minds that work a million miles an hour and put out books so quickly in a series for us. Serena finally gets what she needs at the end...I'm wondering which author wanted the cat ears ! That's all I'm gonna say but if you love paranormal romance and reverse harem then buckle up and take this one for a spin .

Back to Nightmare Penitentiary we go! I'm sure sad that this is the final book in this series. I love Selene and her guys. With the ultimate bad guy split between the nasty vampire Julian and the creepy warden of the prison. I love that nightmare Penitentiary is just as much a character in these stories as the people. The journey of these books has been brutal and the darkness that has pressed on them and caused so much pain, has also led them to each other and the love they all share. Thanks ladies for an excellent finale!

This series is over and I'm kinda sad about it. I loved this series. It was different and I enjoyed all the different supernatural involved. With plenty of twists and turns, action and intrigue, betrayals and steamy encounter to Keep you hooked from beginning to end. I also loved how these two have left this open for more to come so I'm super excited about that. I'm hoping that we get to see Seth take his kingdom back. Overall a fantastic series. As always my reviews are totally voluntarily and no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Selena stole hearts and more

Fantastic series!
As usual I’m so gutted it’s come to end
I must admit I wish the ending had more, not just selenas part but for the rest of them, kind of has unanswered questions for each one of the characters and I wanted to know more about selenas powers and how she could use them.
But was a fab ending either way.
In a way the way the authors left this series, it’s a possibility to add more or even turn it into a new series
But I’m just greedy for more and saying that just proves how amazing this series is!

This is such an amazing series and this final book is fantastic! Selena and her men are incredible characters and I loved seeing their growth and relationship developments throughout the series! The storyline is fabulous, and so very entertaining! I literally blew through these books, every time one came out, I devoured it, I couldn’t stop, I love them all! I would unquestionably recommend this book and this series!

I want more!
I didn’t want to finish this because then it would be over but I’m so happy with this ending. Love the relationship with Keon and Laz. I’m glad Laz also got his heart to heart. I’m extremely happy with what happened to Julian, the Warden ...not sure...although Alaric got his jabs in that made me snicker. I do hope to see what happens with Seth and his kingdom and for more of Laz. Definitely need more page time with those two.

Just wow. I have been in love with this series from the very beginning and I absolutely loved this book. I mean I am sad that it's the last one, but dang, was it worth it. It has everything you need and want. The storyline will keep you turning page after page from beginning to end, and make you fall in love with one or two of the guys even more.... ok with all of them. I loved every single minute of this

This story was so filled with actions that I read it out of breath in one streak. Selena not really can have a rest, always in battle, in search, in trouble. Her connection to her 4 mates is getting stronger and stronger. Each of them support for her. It was steamy, fast paced, and really perfect final to this series. I loved the book.I loved this series. From some point of view I hate it’s finished, from other I’m happy how it ended. Amazing reqd.

Absolutely Stunning!!!!!!!

I loved this series. The ending was fantastic and I wouldn’t mind one more just to finish up a few loose ends. It fantastically written and the characters are stunningly developed. I loved the chemistry with all of them together. The series was written as if one author wrote the entire series as it was so well written. It is definitely a must read that doesn’t disappoint.

Sweet

I'm kind of disappointed in this one. It's a really good book, just like the others, but I felt a huge let down at the end. It was all made perfect with just a little wish and the big bad guy who was a major horror in Selena's life was just taken out in a few sentences. It was this great buildup and then all the suffering was solved with a wam bam thank you ma'am. It is frustrating.

wishing on a stone

Sweet Destiny is book four in the series Thief of Hearts by authors Mila Young & C.R. Jane. What an ending- talk about going up in flames. Ok I might be getting a little ahead of myself- there’s a whole treasure hunt- a bounty - a deal and get this a dragon! These authors know their stuff- thank you both for sharing your craft with us - amazing series- off to find more.
Enjoy!!

A 4+ stars! I really enjoyed this ending (or maybe more because it really wasn't completely Seth needs his kingdom) The way these guys came together to help get their siren out of the prison, but themselves as well. That seen with getting the key, then the dragon was jaw dropping! This story is the culmination of a great tale. I hope to see more of!

I just absolutely enjoyed and loved this book! I'll admit that I'm not a prison book type of gal, no matter the genre, but this one got me. I enjoyed seeing how Selena and her men grew together. And the end? Oooh boy. It will absolutely not disappoint you! It was uniquely enjoyable. Though I wish we would find out exactly what the Warden is.

What an awesome ending to a brilliant series!!!
Whilst it's sad the series is finished it's an amazing series and love how these two authors have come together to create one hell of a series.
The series itself has been gut wrenching, and the darkness pushed onto the characters and oh the pain.... but they found each other and themselves.
Loved it!!!

Tied up with a bow 😍

A perfect HEA, all tied up with a bow and everything. Our heroes all work together to achieve their biggest goal yet; their freedom. Saying goodbye to Selena and her men definitely stings, but I console myself with the knowledge that this team will co-write many more fantastic series together in the future. 😍

This was a great ending to a wonderful series, it is always a joy to read these two authors. The emotions and struggles that they bring to life with the characters make your reading experience amazing.
